AIPAC sends tough message to Iran

By NATHAN GUTTMAN

The US will use “all the tools” at its disposal to stop the threat the Iranian regime poses. US ambassador to the UN John Bolton sent Sunday a tough message towards Teheran and urged the international community to take action quickly in order to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear capability.

“The longer we wait to confront the threat Iran poses, the harder and more intractable it will become to solve,” Bolton told a crowd of 5,000 AIPAC members at the lobby’s annual policy conference in Washington. On the eve of the discussion at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about referring Iran to the UN Security Council, ambassador Bolton warned that “failure by the Security Council to act on this matter would be a highly detrimental abrogation of the duties it is charged with under the UN Charter,” adding that “the Security Council must take due note that failure to act in a timely manner and with seriousness of purpose will do lasting damage to the credibility of the Council.”

  1. Bolton’s Tough Message To Iran…

Assuming “all the tools” means exactly that, and if necessary, sanctions be damned, there’s a good chance approval for military action to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons will make it through Congress. …

  2. I would love to take Mr. Bolton any seriously. But, unfortunately, he is just an actor in a profoundly anti-Israel plot by the Western powers.

The reason why people take him seriously is entirely dependent on people taking AIPAC itself seriously. But AIPAC is NOT a pro-Israel institution. The support of a country (which should be understood as the support of that country’s people) is NOT made exclusively of wire tranfers. Almost every country which is not a declared enemy of the US receives some ‘generous’ American aid. But that aid always has a political price, usually a VERY expensive one. In some cases, like Israel, the price is the gradual destruction of the country, as Prof. Francisco Gil-White, from UPenn, has already fully documented in his chronology of the US-Israel relation, which can be read at http://www.hirhome.com/israel/ihrally.htm

The same author has also proved that AIPAC is an ANTI-ZIONIST, not a Zionist institution. His arguments are overwhelming, so I recommend you check this article as well: http://www.hirhome.com/israel/aipac.htm

    Best wishes
