Saudis have the US over a barrel of oil
By Ted Belman
In my article The Vast Power of the Saudi Lobby, which I urge you to read again, I write,
.. the U.S. ambassador to Riyahd, James Akins, did his best to placate King Faisal by urging the Saudi’s American-owned oil concessionaire ARAMCO to, in Akin’s words, “hammer home” to the White House that the embargo (seventies) wouldn’t be lifted unless
“the political struggle [between Israel and the Arabs] is settled in [a] manner satisfactory to [the] Arabs.”
Prince Bandar told Bush
Starting today, you go your way and we will go our way. From then on, the Saudis would look out for their own national interests.
It seemed the United States had made a strategic decision to adopt Sharon’s policy as American policy.
Within thirty-six hours, Bandar was on his way to Riyadh with a conciliatory response from Bush. When Bandar returned Powell cornered him.
“What the f*ck are you doing?” witnesses recall Powell asking. “You’re putting the fear of God in everybody’s hearts here. We’ve all come rushing here to hear this revelation that you bring from Saudi Arabia. You scared the shit out of everybody.”
As a result of this power, I wrote Whatever Saudis Want, Saudis Get.
Is America over a barrel of oil? Definitely.
And what Saudis want is al Quds with the Temple Mount and the greenline and G-d knows what else.
Shalom Ted,
Look at the glass of water from the other side of the miniscus.
The Saudis USED to get what they wanted.
Now they get devalued dollars for their oil and when they go to London to buy some more jewelry, they are again hit with another mechanism; LIBOR, the London InterBank Offered Rate, another cut off of their oil embezzelments. The Houston-NYC corridor is talking shop to the Saudis…..and Houston occupies the White House and Senate.
Is America over a barrel of oil? Yes !
Is the gun pointed by the Arabs ? No !
The gun is held (mostly) by PRC and the US population demanding more public provided benefits than tax collections can allow. Thus, Kissinger had to sign off on the 1974 Executive agreement to keep secret Saudi (and Kuwait, Qatar and UAE) purchasers of US Treasury instruments. (American Jewish Congress sued but lost).
Do the Saidis want the Temple Mount? Yes, but no more than North American Jewry wants it.
It’s painful for some to discuss but there’s only about 1 million American Jews. Most are de facto conversos. They’re good citizens but not affiliated with Israel.
OPEC Vienna is no longer the powerhouse it once was.
The US can continue to manipulate the US$. The Arabs are still searching for a place to store their wealth. So far, the search shows the only place is Hymietown, USA.
Don’t forget the Grand Mosque, Mecca was “captured” by other barbarians in 1979. The French infidals had to be called in.
The Temple Mount is a matter internal to Jewry.
We can handle the Arab barbarians.
They, however, are a tangent.
When we’re organized without the socialists and Yevsektzia, the enemy will be visible.
North America has about 1 million +/- Jews. The rest have since converted.
…
And don’t forget why Japan bought Westinghouse Nuclear !
Kol tuv,
Hi Ted:
It will take a few days to read over all you wrote about in your work since there is a bit to chew upon.
But for now I will say that I am not sure about relating a Saudi embargo now the same as in the 1970′s. I am not sure it was actually an embargo, though that was the popular term for it.
The technology advances will spot and react to an oil embargo alot quicker now than in the 1970′s and there is more fuel efficiency, a more robust economy and cheaper fuel in real terms now than 30 years ago.
There is some economic squeeze due to these higher prices but Saudi does not want a world which can not pay for its goods either, and considering its best customer is the US, does not want to lose their support either — or their oil fields to the Iranians. They do not have much of an army.
Their goal is to brainwash opinion and have others do their dirty work, not to create direct confrontation with them in the line of fire.
The US was the one which walked away from Saudi in disgust and placed their bases in Oman and other arab countries. Saudi played the wrong game and lost. Saudi’s are losing political leverage — until they come around. Bush and Iran have been sleeping together, this worries Bandar.
Will write more later.
Regards,
Rote
I really think Bush has checkmated the Saudis. The reason is I feel History will come to show Bush’s venture into Iraq was the smartest and best thing he could have done for the national interests of the United States –which he feels is his primary purpose–and its economic health. It was intentional to a purpose because the United States now virtually controls the largest reserve of oil in the world. American firms already have 73% of the contracts for oil. Besides, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela are getting to be a pain in the ass and we don’t need their threats. The WMD was just a ploy, we all know that. He could never just come out and say “It’s about Oil” could he? Bush is not stupid, notwithstanding his oratorical deficiency. If you do not know this, let me tell you loud and clear — the interests of the United States does not include the survival of the state of Israel. Read that aloud twice to make sure your ears hear it.
And my Note to President Bush from a concerned citizen: This Arab Jewish conference is crazy–George. Are you guys nuts? We got the oil, now get the heck out of the Middle East and let them fight it out themselves. Israel is a big boy and can take care of itself. The conference can’t be anything really serious with all the minor plenipotentiaries from countries in the world you are inviting. It’s a laugh! Saying that you’re making an honest broker’s last chance for peace sounds noble, but it’s a bunch of crock. Don’t do the Arabs any favors. Peace is not in their national interest. To tell you the truth, they — and Osama–really feel you’re meddling in affairs that do not belong to you. Stay out of it, unless Russia creates a problem. That’s different.

Kessler you are repeating to Liberal lefts reasons to hate GB. It seems there were WMD and it also seems the Americans didn’t do to much to find them and track them down once they had boots on the ground? Bush knows they were there and by producing solid evidence of their existence, he could have neutralized the left and Democrats, made his party and himself more popular in the eyes of the American people and even the World. He not only did not do THIS BUT LATER ADMITTED HE WAS IN ERROR DUE TO FAULTY INTEl! Why do you think this is so?
America is sitting on immense reserves as well at 100$ a bbl. why do you think America is not forcing domestic oil companies holding leases from drilling AND EXTRACTING FROM existing known reserves?
I hate to say this as an American but Americans are really dumb, they have made so many blunders in her short history its amazing they have not paid a higher price for them. Saddam was a Brutal nut case but that is not unique in the Arab and Muslim world he was not a fanatic, nor did he have global ambitions just regional ones.
Iraq was more or less in containment and the Iranians were for more advance in their WMDs development and they too have oil and gas. Remember it was the Americans and the French that organized the deposing of the Shah and replacing him with the Mullahs! REALLY SMART MOVE. Then America Backed Sadam against Iran, and the Taliban against Russia, another brilliant move. So one can say that American Global foreign Policy has brought us to this day and now they are backing the Palis and kissing the Syrians ass. All in the name of What?
