Syria To Launch Bio-Weapons Against Jewish State If The US Attacks Iran

Tuesday, January 1st, 2008

by Omri Ceren

Because why not, ya know?

The revelation from an American bio-defense analyst living in Europe that Syria is ready to respond with biological weapons of mass destruction if the U.S., Israel or Europe attack Iranian nuclear installations has again brought forth the reality that such weapons in the hands of our enemies represent an intolerable threat to our national security. According to Jill Bellamy-Dorsey, who currently directs the Public Health Preparedness program for the European Homeland Security Association under the French High Committee for Civil Defense: “Syria is positioned to launch a biological attack on Israel or Europe should the U.S. attack Iran. The Syrians are embedding their biological weapons program into their commercial pharmaceuticals business and their veterinary vaccine-research facilities…” she said.

Conservative pundit argues for ‘victory’ over Palestinians

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

Dan Pine on Daniel Pipes:

… “In 1993, with [the Oslo accords], Israel’s policy was, ‘We’ll give you some of what you want, just leave us alone,’” Pipes says. “Appeasement has been the dominant thread of Israeli policy. It doesn’t work, not with mortal enemies. I advocate we return to deterrence.”

What would a new deterrence look like? For one thing, no more parleys with Israeli and Palestinian prime ministers shaking hands across a table. Not until the Palestinians give up any notion of vanquishing Israel. “I refuse to discuss final status until our side wins,” Pipes says. “I see no reason to give carrots to Palestinians.” …

Anti-Semitism As Obsession

The “What Would Make You Care About That” Question

by Omri Ceren

The international left obsesses about imagined Israeli war crimes as opposed to much worse actual war crimes and imagined Israeli human rights abuses as opposed to much worse actual human rights abuses. Jimmy Carter has come up with maybe the most pathetic excuse ever just so he can keep obsessing about Israel. The British Foreign Minister actually said that of course Israel has very little to do with Al Qaeda’s influence - but that the world should intervene in Israeli affairs anyway because at least it’s something.

This month’s TNR has an article up about the pervasiveness of this fundamentally anti-Semitic obsession with finding a Jewish angle to every story. Wouldn’t you know, it’s about Want and Mearsheimer: (more…)

Israeli Doctors Saving Lives Of Iraqi Children

Monday, October 15th, 2007

by Omri Ceren

Oh, those evil racist genocidal Jews with their evil racist genocidal ways:

Three Israeli doctors on Tuesday screened 40 Iraqi children suffering from heart disease in a rare instance of cooperation between people from Israel and the Arab country. The doctors said they hoped their actions will improve relations between the two Mideast nations and ease tensions between Israel and the rest of the Arab world. Dr. Sion Houri, director of the pediatric intensive care unit at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel, said he thought ties and friendship were being built through his work in Jordan with the Iraqi children. “Our only previous exchanges with the Iraqis are the Scud missiles”, he said, referring to the missiles Iraq, under former dictator Saddam Hussein, fired on Israel during the 1991 Gulf War.

This is of course nothing new. MK Aryeh Eldad - who is regularly and literally accused by the left of being genocidal - is explicit that his role as a doctor and human being compels him even to treat injured terrorists. But it does suggest something unseemly about the motives of the boycott leaders who are trying to crush the Israeli medical industry because of the racism of Israeli doctors.

Jimmy Carter: I Ignore Darfur And Obsess About Israel Because Darfur’s Not A Genocide

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

by Omri Ceren

So then there was the time that Jimmy Carter - when asked about a genocidal conflict - got all bashful and precise:

“There is a legal definition of genocide and Darfur does not meet that legal standard. The atrocities were horrible but I don’t think it qualifies to be called genocide,” he said. Washington is almost alone in branding the 4 1/2 years of violence in Darfur genocide…That’s one reason why using the textbook definition is offensive. There’s another reason, too: namely, that Carter hasn’t always been such a stickler for precision when applying that vaunted moral yardstick of his. If it’s so desperately “unhelpful” to go throwing around the concept of genocide even when it arguably applies,
