Jews can’t vote for Obama and be pro-Israel at the same time

By Ted Belman (July 22/08)

In the poll of Jewish voters (conducted April 1-30), it showed Obama getting 61% of the Jewish vote against John McCain (32%). Yet in the same poll Hillary Clinton beat Obama among Jewish voters 62% – 38%. So obviously Jews are lifelong democrats who will vote for Obama, whom they rejected in the primaries, rather than vote for McCain. Thus, for them, party loyalty is preferable to Israel loyalty.

Recently I posted two articles by Yarom Ettinger, former Israeli Ambassador to the US, The Prospects of a Palestinian State and National Interests of the United States and It’s American interests, stupid, both of which clearly demonstrate that keeping Israel strong is to keep America strong. Thus to be pro-Israel is to be pro-America.

Planet Equality and the eclipse of nation

BY MELANIE PHILLIPS, Daily Mail, 29 September 2008

On the eve of the Tory Party conference, the shadow Home Secretary Dominic Grieve issued a blunt warning.

In the name of multiculturalism, he said, Britain had done something terrible to itself. It had downplayed British cultural identity, leaving long-standing inhabitants fearful and new immigrants alienated, creating a vacuum ripe for exploitation by extremists.

His warning could not be more timely or appropriate. Multiculturalism and its allied doctrines of human rights and anti-discrimination are acting as a kind of corrosive acid eating away at our institutions, values and national identity.

Obama is a foreign policy disaster, especially for Israel

By Ted Belman

Obama is on record of wanting to reduce the US defense budget. McCain is on record of wanting to increase it. Considering the growing threat emanating from Russia, Iran, Venezuela and possibly China which is the better policy.

Obama is on record of wanting to engage Iran in talks. He ignores that Iran has been engaged for years by various of our allies and even by low level Americans to no avail. McCain is against doing so. I would ask Obama what he intends to offer Iran to get them to become peaceful. Perhaps Iraq, perhaps Lebanon, perhaps Israel. what?

Obama is on record of intending to work for a nuclear free world? Is this doable or wise? What American would want to get rid of all its nuclear weapons.

Ross: Obama would alter Mideast ‘dynamic’

Dennis Ross presses need to ‘engage’ on Iran, peace process

Former Ambassador Dennis Ross, senior adviser on Middle East affairs to the Barack Obama campaign, told NJ Jewish News that Obama, not his Republican rival, John McCain, “would change the dynamic” to facilitate peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors and ease the potential nuclear threat from Iran.

“The stakes are so high in this election. I look at Israel’s strategic position. I look at the threat from Iran. I look at Hamas’ building a mini-terror state in Gaza, we can’t afford four more years of a policy that continues to create that kind of a strategic context.”

Obama “is not going to push Israel for concessions, but he is going to engage. It has been a huge mistake to disengage.”

[I don’t think we can believe him. To engage is to push. If Netanyahyu is PM and wants no peace process then what will Obama do?]

Dems brought us to this point

By Grant Swank, CFP Tuesday, September 30, 2008

If B. Hussein Obama is elected, we will have more and more of what the US simply cannot tolerate.

It will be more and more of Nancy Pelosi.. Can America withstand another assault from this brainless “leader” who knows not how to bring together those who bow before her throne?

She is worn and tattered. She promised the USA within the first 100 days of her governing that she would remake this country. We are still waiting as she instead turns the nation inside out.

If B. Hussein is elected we will have more of Barney Frank. Has this man not by now exposed himself sufficiently for all logical citizens to want him jettisoned into the Atlantic?

An ACORN Falls from the Tree

A congressional outrage and Obama is connected to it

By Ken Blackwell, NRO

What deserves closer scrutiny is Barack Obama’s history with ACORN. Obama cites Saul Alinsky, a self-acknowledged radical who advocated extreme acts to achieve social goals, as one of his inspirations. ACORN follows the Saul Alinsky model. After Obama graduated from Harvard, he went to work for ACORN in Chicago. Mr. Obama then became a trainer for ACORN, teaching others how to employ ACORN tactics in voter registration drives.

As negotiations over Congress’s emergency rescue bill continued over the weekend, repeated rumors leaked out that the Democrats were trying to funnel money to a hyper-partisan organization involved in criminal voter fraud. I’m speaking of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now — known by its acronym, ACORN. Although ACORN was cut from the final legislation, it’s important to understand this organization and its long history with, of all people, Barack Obama. And it’s important to see how partisan this emergency legislation has become.
