Platitudes and naivete: Obama’s Cairo speech

Here is the text as prepared for delivery, provided by the White House, via USA Today, June 4 — with my comments interspersed:

I am honored to be in the timeless city of Cairo, and to be hosted by two remarkable institutions. For over a thousand years, Al-Azhar has stood as a beacon of Islamic learning,
…whose Grand Sheikh, Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi, has given his approval — on Islamic grounds — to suicide bombing.
and for over a century, Cairo University has been a source of Egypt’s advancement. Together, you represent the harmony between tradition and progress. I am grateful for your hospitality, and the hospitality of the people of Egypt. I am also proud to carry with me the goodwill of the American people, and a greeting of peace from Muslim communities in my country: assalaamu alaykum.
According to Islamic law, a Muslim may only extend this greeting — Peace be upon you — to a fellow Muslim. To a non-Muslim he is to say, “Peace be upon those who are rightly guided,” i.e., Peace be upon the Muslims. Islamic law is silent about what Muslims must do when naive non-Muslim Islamophilic Presidents offer the greeting to Muslims.
We meet at a time of tension between the United States and Muslims around the world – tension rooted in historical forces that go beyond any current policy debate. The relationship between Islam and the West includes centuries of co-existence and cooperation, but also conflict and religious wars. More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam.
“Co-existence and cooperation”? When and where, exactly?
Note that Obama lists only ways in which the West has, in his view, mistreated the Islamic world. Not a word about the jihad doctrine, not a word about Islamic supremacism and the imperative to make war against and subjugate non-Muslims as dhimmis. Not a word about the culture of hatred and contempt for non-Muslims that existed long before the spread of American culture (”modernity and globalization”) around the world, which Obama D’Souzaishly suggests is responsible for the hostility Muslims have for the West. Its all about how the West needs to make amends to Islam. No discussion of how Islam is to make up for its history of genocide and the subjugation and outright denial of the basic human rights of non-Islamic peoples. That’s Obama’s idea of even-handedness: blaming the West and whitewashing the bloody record of Islam.

Before there was Hitler, Mein Kampf and the SS there was Muhammad, the Koran and Muslim SS known as the Companions. Muhammad was the first Hitler.
By equating Christianity, Judaism with Islam, President Obama has placed a happy face on evil.
Obama quoted from Koran; “whosoever killeth a human being, it shall be as if he killed all mankind.”
But this is a TOTAL misrepresentation of Koran 5:32. What this verse states is “whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth..”
“Corruption in the earth” means that kafirs must be murdered for not converting to Islam. By refusing to convert, kafirs have declared war on Allah, are a danger to Islam creating corruption in the land and therefore must be murdered. This means the murder of 300 million Americans who have created corruption in the earth.
All Muslims regard the Koran as the divine book written by God himself. Every word of the Koran of extermination, murder, brutality, torture, beheading , etc is the word of God – divine and timeless. Any person who believes such nonsense is evil.
How could the President who understands Islam quote from a book that orders mass murder of his fellow countrymen?
Notice (below) verse 5:33. Isn’t this wonderful teaching from God. Kafirs must be killed or crucified or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off. This is the fate of 300 million Americans “who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land.”
These teachings have lead to the greatest holocaust in history – the mass murder of 270,000,000 kafirs by Muslim men of which 120,000,000 were blacks. Black males were castrated by Muslims. Millions of black men died from this savage operation. That is why there are NO blacks living in the Middle East. The President never mentioned any of this did he. Islam is incredible evil.
5:32 For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.
5:33 The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom;

The whole speech was mostly a crock of shit. Islam has never been tolerant and progressive and has never contributed anything in science, math and the arts.

He actually got poor grades on his speach from the Europeans.
The only support he got is from the liberal left media.
PM Netanyahu has to tell Obama and company, no way jose.
As Caroline pointed out in her tv debate with Baskin, Israel is not bound by any of these agreements.
First of all the Palestinians have as yet complied with any agreement and the most important one is toe recogenize Israel as a Jewish Nation.
All agreements are off and Obama can go pound sand.
In one breath he says the US should not tell other countries what they should do and yet this doesn’t apply to Israel.
What a jackass.

He loves to stand at the podium and read speaches prepared for him.

A recent poll of Israpundit contributors showed a generally favorable response to the Obama speech. Almost 85% of those interviewed thought his words were inspirational.

A crock of shit? Yup, I agree with at least that much. They have had more tolerant periods and less tolerant ones like today.
They contributed to algebra, astrology and to the field of medicine. Also, major contributions to astronomy and philosophy. But that was a long tome ago. Today they are renowned for Humus and murder. Show enough force against them they might revert for a time to their one time more tolerant face. I don’t think it will happen though. The West and America will eventually succumb as you can’t defeat any enemy you refuse to define and are afraid to offend.

A recent poll of Israpundit contributors showed That Peskin is a so far benign cyberpunk virus , although benign today there is a danger of it mutating into a more lethal strain if not eradicated soon. Maybe escape will work? If not we must go to extremes and press delete.
