EXCLUSIVE: Israel declines to ask U.S. to OK Iran attack
Jerry Gordon Comment: Why would Israel ask permission to defend its existence, period? Isrsel is a sovereign nation and good thing, too. Besides, surprise is the only tactic to keep the enemy off balance. Obama’s pursuit of engagement with Iran, especially after the oppression of its citizens by the Mullahs given the fraudulent Presidential June election, is grovelling abysmal appeasement to theocratic tyrants. It is a sign of his Administration naievete, a clear demonstration sign of his weakness in playing the game of realpolitik. Bibi is right not to announce Israel’s intentions and timing for any possible attack on Iran’s nuclear facilties by any means at the country’s disposal.
by Eli Lake, The Washington Times, July 7, 2009

Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu
One senior Israeli official, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject, told The Washington Times that Mr. Netanyahu determined that “it made no sense” to press the matter after the negative response President Bush gave Mr. Netanyahu’s predecessor, Ehud Olmert, when he asked early last year for U.S. aid for possible military strikes on Iran.
Israel is increasingly nervous that Iran is developing the capability to build a nuclear weapon, an intention Iran denies. However, Israel is unlikely to attack Iran without at least tacit U.S. approval, in part because that would require cooperation from the United States. At the very least, Israel likely would have to fly over Iraqi airspace, which is still effectively controlled by the U.S. Air Force.
Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. refused during a television appearance Sunday to say whether the U.S. would give Israel overflight rights for such an attack, but said it was Israel’s “sovereign right” to attack Iran if it considers the Iranian nuclear program an existential threat.
“There is no pressure from any nation that’s going to alter our behavior as to how to proceed,” he told ABC’s “This Week.”
Mr. Biden said the U.S. was pursuing a diplomatic route, but, “If the Netanyahu government decides to take a course of action different than the one being pursued now, that is their sovereign right to do that. That is not our choice.”
Despite the political upheaval in Iran since the disputed June 12 presidential elections there, the Obama administration says it is still seeking negotiations with Iran on the nuclear issue. In early May, as The Times reported last month, the White House sent a letter to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, asking for talks and improved relations. To be a free nation, living in our own land:
Obama seeks detente with Russia, Iran, Syria, and all muslims. He says America will never interfere with the government chosen by a different nation.
The only nation with which he does not seek detente and mutual dialog is Israel. He accuses Israel of being an occupying power by virtue of its settlements in the west bank, and commands Israel to stop building kindergartens for its children and bedrooms for its new families. He tries to sabotage Netanyahu at every turn, hoping to get Israel to replace him with Tzipi Livni and her fellow Jew-hating Israeli Jews.
I don’t see much wriggle room to give him any benefit of the doubt: He is an outright Jew-hater and muslim lover.
(He does have one other bug up his butt at this time: he is outraged that the white conservatives in Honduras have evicted their Hugo Chavez-like presidente. But true to form, he is not upset that the Iranian ayatollahs are killing their own people to remain in power, or that the Chinese (his bankers) are killing the Chinese muslims whom he loves so much.)

And the answer is:
Sam, I can tell you know this guy. You call a spade a spade. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, its Barak.
Boy and the Russians are making a fool of him. He is dismantling the strength of the US and coming away with nothing significant.
The great community organizer, duh.

The American Elite are fascists. They are fascists to their citizens and they are fascists to Israel. Their best buddies are the commies. Hand in hand they feast on the bodies of impoverished and dead American and Chinese workers.
The bankruptcies of Nortel and GM are their new great triumphs, the beginning of a new era restructuring to take total power over workers, The elite lose none of their wealth and control, they eliminate all the obligations to North American Workers past present and future and they usher in a new era of miserable servitude and slavery. They only need a small percentage of the population, the rest will be abandoned to die like dogs.
Obama told the auto industry workers “You have to sacrifice for your children’s future.
Translation: ”
You don’t have a future, your efforts and work of 80 years over generations has gone to make the rich richer and your lives as garbage and dust, be sure to hang onto your kids because if you are lucky you can sell them to the slave labour Camps in a few years.”
The US and Canada got their own Trojan horse now…millions of angry terrorist supporting immigrants capable of being mobilized by their mullahs at any time. Eventually Obama and the Jon Stewart crowd will reap the the seeds they have sown.

Communism and the dustbin of history:
Israel was founded with a utopian communist ideal: the Histadrut (workers’ union) would control industry, and the kibbutzim (the collective farms) would control agriculture.
Both are now bankrupt, like Marxism itself.
Marx came too early to envision a time when machines could take the place of most human manual labor. Humans are no longer needed on the farm, as machines do most of the work. And humans are no longer needed in the factories, as machines do much of the work there too. China by istelf has enough factories with machines to supply everyone in the world with whatever they want.
But we’re now stuck in a world where, if most people are not needed in the workforce, then how do they earn the money to pay for the things they want to buy? It’s not only the end of communism, it’s also the end of capitalism. It’s a brave new world.

The good news is with the US superpower era over, America is not going to be able to impose to impose its will upon Israel. The bad news is the US isn’t going to be there to defend Israel in a crisis.

So Makovsky expects that Israel should choose risking its very existence in order to placate American interests?
Ok, so acknowledging that both would be destabilizing, then it makes sense to strike Iran militarily. This would only create instability in the short term while a nuclear armed Iran would destabilize the region indefinitely.

Samuel, there’s enough wealth and prosperity for everyone regardless of how much work is done. This is the gift of technology. The problem is that the elite have taken it all for themselves and they won’t share it because that gives them power. They will sit on fields of plenty and watch us rot just to stay top dog.
Capitalism s already dead because 95 percent of the capital is now owned by the elites, If the population doesn’t have Capital , that is not Capitalism, that is Statism, that same as Stalin’s Russia. About 80 percent of that capital needs to be taken from them and redistributed to the population in the form of interest free non-repayable loans (Yes! You read that right!) to start small and medium sized businesses (which no longer exist!)
There can again be capitalism. The system now is economic fascism and needs to be dismantled. In one sweep , in one hour , you can simply burn the mortgages and anyone living in a house can own the house. The world can shift in five minutes.Yes, the corrupt banks and bankers and elite would collapse , there would be turmoil, the Uncle Toms will lose their domestic slaves and their overseas investments but…lo an behold..there will once again be Prosperity and Capitalism. One easy step in an endless possibility of steps.
The “economy” is an illusion, the financial crisis is an illusion, nothing real has happened. It only exists on paper. It is a paper club used by the elite.
There is far too much for me to say in a short space.
The whole knowledge base by which to understand the interplay between the politicians and the elite and how they manipulate wealth is obfuscated and hidden from people by the mass media. No body will even begin to understand anything I am saying unless they start to look and investigate for themselves.Almost every basic concept about the “economy” that has been fed the masses is a deceit. If you don’t research and find out for yourselves you are the worse losers.

I mentioned no conspiracy. Everything I talk about is an open book and common knowledge.
Where is the conspiracy? If there is one I would like to know.
Are you on drugs or something? You must be hallucinating. Try to concentrate on reality.

Max I believe I owe you an apology.
Nothing personal however, I take exception to your treatment of Sarah Palin.
And you are entitled to your opinion and on this one I disagree.
You certainly have some valid points and they worth reading moreover you need to quit beating up the good people.
