America: Kill or Capture Abdel Baset al-Megrahi

Now that Scotland has released convicted Lockerbie mass murderer Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the United States should kill or capture him.
(1) 180 American citizens were among the Lockerbie bombing murder victims.
(2) The United States has no statute of limitations on murder.
(3) Abdel Baset al-Megrahi never stood trial in an American court of law, so his conviction in Scotland does not invoke protection from double jeopardy.
(4) We are not an attorney and this is not legal advice but, as far as we know, deadly force can be used to apprehend a murderer who refuses to surrender to law enforcement.
President Obama should accordingly direct our country’s Federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies to hunt down Abdel Baset al-Megrahi with instructions to bring him in dead or alive. If the latter takes refuge in a country with an extradition treaty with the U.S., the U.S. should demand his extradition so he can spend the rest of his life in an almost windowless cell in a Supermax prison. If he goes to a place that will not extradite murderers to the U.S., a Marine sniper can put a bullet through his head, or a Predator drone can take him out. As stated by Edward Longshanks in “Braveheart,” “I want him alive; dead will do just as well.” Abdel Baset al-Megrahi alive in a Supermax prison cell or dead will do fine for us as well.
Obama opposes coercive interrogation techniques when questioning members of al Qaeda, even in exigent circumstances where American lives could be saved.
He responded to the outrageous release of Abdel Baset al-Megrahi by calling it “inappropriate”.
Using the salad fork to eat your quiche may be “inappropriate”, but freeing a mass murderer of Americans is “intolerable”.
Yet it was already painfully obvious that this president is not exactly Teddy Roosevelt.
Our enemies have nothing to fear from Obama.
He represents a threat exclusively to our allies.

Wake up Bill, Muslim don’t arrest other Muslims. Obama is more likely to issue him the Medal of Valor for having neen brave enough to put the bomb on the plane.
