Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs has accumulated quite a collection of the most vicious imaginable anti-Israel and indeed anti-Semitic hate speech, all of which was posted at Barack Obama’s Web site with the full knowledge and approval of the moderators. We remind our readers that one moderator (Emily) counseled an Obama supporter to use the words “Israel Lobby” instead of “Jewish Lobby.”Organizing for America as it is now known sanctioned all of the following until the postings in question were circulated here, at Atlas Shrugs, and/or at Free Republic. Only then did they go under the bus.
* “Kike filth” (used repeatedly)
* “Real Jew News” and “Jew Senator Lieberman”
* “The Israeli Connection to 9/11″ (blood libel)
* Comparison of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians to Nazi Germany’s treatment of Jews
* Hillary Clinton willing to become a “Jewish terrorist” for pay. (The site also welcomed at least one posting that called Clinton a five-letter word for a female dog.)
* Threats of “grave consequences” to Jews who “betray Obama” (possibly posted by the New Black Panthers; the original Black Panthers were known for killing police officers)

Ralph Peters is one of the guests along with Robert Goodwin both of whom are criticizing the president for not acting or not being a decider on the Afgan problem. The Israeli government routinely turns a blind eye to the viciousness being spewed out by Hamas and Palestinian Authority media and clerics – which is worse by several degrees of magnitude than anything appearing on the Obama website.

Those Arabs truly believe that theirs is a just cause and that all Jews are evil and deserve to be murdered.
There is a direct relationship connecting PA/Gaza propaganda, Israeli government inaction, and violence against Israeli Jews.
The government may not be able to control what gets published on the Obama website, but it has the power to do something about what goes on on Jewish land. And so far it has done NOTHING.

Aline, I am with you. I have said many times Israel needs a good PR progam in the U.S. to bring the truth the Americans and dispell the garbage put out by the liberal left media. Apparently there is a need in Israel likewise.
This is a threat and since Hamas is a terrorist organization the Israeli government have every right and obligation to protect her citizens. They should send the IDF in and clean them out of Gaza.

This is not the kind of change we had in sight. Short of presidential oversight, it’s more than presidential irresponsibility. It’s an outrage and it certainly cannot be presidential permissiveness that permits unmitigated anti-Semitism on his own website.

I’m more of a rifleman myself. Got a .223 Mini 14, among several other “things”.
I lust for a Tavor 21 military rifle (.223 calibre), but it’s very expensive. On the other hand, buying a Tavor is one helluva way to support the Israeli economy!!!!
Ayn I guess the worst blunder was Sharon’s decision to withdraw the settlers from Gaza and the Sinai. With the settlers and military in place they could have continued to gain better control of the area.
The light at the end of the tunnel will come when Israel controls all of the Holy Land from the River Jordan to the Mediterranean, including Gaza, the Golan Heights, Judea, Samaria and the Sinai.
If Israel would methodically start closing the Arab settlements tomorrow, who would stop them? There would be an outcry from around the world but I don’t see anyone willing to engage the Israelis.

I’ve tried quite a few times to get enough interest going here, to teach Jewish kids a potentially very lethal form of Karate. No luck. Guns aside, Organizing for America is the successor organization to Obama for America. Its stated purpose is
David Plouffe is involved with this blog. He is also the signatory for e mails I continue to get promoting Pres. Obama. Wikipedia says Plouffe is:
“an American political strategist best known as the chief campaign manager for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign in the United States. A long-time Democratic Party campaign consultant, he is a partner at the party-aligned campaign consulting firm AKP&D Message and Media”.
It is impossible to believe that Obama would not have influence to prevail upon the OFA blog editors to ensure that no antisemitic remarks are posted and allowed to remain.
Since the OFA website has continued to feature antisemitic comments, one can fairly assume Pres. Obama tolerates his former website being used in that fashion.
If these assumptions are correct and absent evidence to the contrary, it seems pretty clear these assumptions are correct, then what does that say about Obama’s attitude towards Jews?
I find it strange that with Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugs gathering all these antisemitic comments from OFA and I suspect others have as well, that it appears no one has used this evidence, alone or in conjunction with Jewish organizations to make a very public issue over it.
Perhaps Bill Levinson has conferred with Pam Geller or can to shed light on this point.

Yonatan Stern, the “Sgan Mefaked Hakita” (deputy squad commander) of Kitat Konenut New York, insists his “paramilitary emergency armed response team” is no “group of vigilantes or a JDL [Jewish Defense League].”
“The goal of the organization is to have a competent and professional group of armed volunteers ready to respond to a threat at a moment’s notice in any area where Jews reside,” explains the Israeli combat veteran.
“We do not carry out demonstrations or political activity of any kind as we have no political agenda. Our agenda is to protect Jews wherever and whenever necessary and by any means needed.”
On Friday, the third session of the group’s training camp will begin in the Catskills woodlands of upstate New York, on land belonging to a Jewish supporter of the organization. With tuition at $400, the group expects 15 participants and five instructors for the 10 days of training. Participation has doubled since the group began three years ago.
Kitat Konenut New York is modeled on the rapid response teams in the West Bank settlements that are often the first to act when terrorist attacks or other emergencies take place. The group bills itself as religious-Zionist but nonpolitical.
American Jews have “felt a false sense of security in the United States,” Stern believes, “because historically there has been less anti-Semitism than in other countries. But there have been incidents – neo-Nazi terrorist attacks, Arab terrorist attacks. Jews have to be vigilant.”
“The threat is not from the American people or government,” he adds, but from “terrorist sleeper cells that want to target Jews. These people are very dangerous and the FBI issues warnings against them very often,” he said, citing the FBI’s warning, after the killing of Hizbullah operations chief Imad Mughniyeh in Damascus in February, that the Lebanese group might carry out terror attacks on Jewish communities.
“The average American is friendly to Jews, but we’re worried about those individuals on the periphery of society,” Stern says.
The group was founded in the summer of 2006 in response to the shooting attack at the Jewish federation of Seattle premises by local Muslim Naveed Haq.
“We realized there is a need for this kind of organization, and as Israeli combat veterans living in the US, we have the skills and ability to respond to this,” Stern says.
The group’s MySpace page details the camp’s regimen, which includes training in the IDF’s Krav Maga martial art, use of non-lethal weapons and identification of suspicious objects, but also sharpshooter and assault rifle training, infantry exercises and endurance marches. Explanatory literature lists a large number of weapons with which participants can expect to train.
“We believe all Jews in the US must be legally armed and trained,” Stern says, “and towards this goal we hold paramilitary training camps to train and equip Jewish American youth.”
The group’s literature notes emphatically that all firearms used in training “are 100% legal and in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.”
“We strongly believe in the constitutional right to bear arms and we express this right to its fullest,” it adds.
The group claims to be “well-connected with the New York police and fire departments” and it invites “all members of the law enforcement community to join in our life-saving activities.”
Stern says, “We are all legally armed and carry radios and cellphones” during all hours of the day, and even on Shabbat, “as we need to be constantly ready to respond to any incident.”
The camp literature also promises discussions on Torah and Halacha, understanding and confronting terrorism, fighting anti-Semitism, the history of the Zionist movement in the Land of Israel, and encouraging participants to “know your rights and learn how every American can and must be legally armed and how to express the Second Amendment” – the right to bear arms.
Funded by tuition money and a handful of private donors, the group does not exclude secular Jews, Stern says, but asks that they respect the Orthodox nature of the camp by observing Shabbat in public and refraining from bringing non-kosher food.
“We wouldn’t have a problem with non-Jews coming either,” says Stern, “but no non-Jew has applied thus far.”

In pro wrestling (tag team or otherwise), the fight is fake. I, on the other hand, really do demolish enemy organizations; I put down the Million Mom March for good in 2000 by exposing its misuse of tax-exempt money for electioneering purposes, and a “tag team” of which I was part forced MoveOn.org to disable its Action Forum in 2006. Had the National “Jewish” “Democratic” Council and Abraham Foxman’s ADL not used their Jewish identities to whitewash MoveOn.org, it is quite possible that MoveOn.org would have been totally demolished by this scanda.
The means used, incidentally, involved MoveOn.org’s proven exercise of editorial control over its Action Forum, which hosted the most vicious imaginable anti-Semitic and anti-Catholic hate speech. As soon as you can prove that the moderators delete material and terminate accounts when they do not agree with what is being posted, the organization in question can be held responsible for anything (such as entries with language like “K**e filth) that it allows to remain. This should work for Organizing for America as well.
