Only in Haaretz
By Ted Belman
Only in Haaretz would you find a headline like this, ‘U.S. furious over Israeli incitement against Obama’. Akiva Eldar, explains an unidentified “Israeli source” claims to have been told by an unidentified “Democratic Congressman” that the “US administration ” is furious over Israeli incitement against Obama. Even Netanyahu is said to be involved. Oh my.

The U.S. administration is furious over Israeli incitement against President Barack Obama, Democratic congressmen close to Obama told an Israeli source who returned from a visit to Washington this week.
The congressmen even hinted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been personally involved.
The source, who met in Washington with administration officials and members of Congress, told Haaretz he was stunned by the level of anger there over attempts to portray Obama to the American public as an enemy of Israel because of his efforts to restart peace talks and freeze settlement construction.
“There are people here who are playing with fire by damaging our relationship with the U.S.,” the source said. [..]
And I thought that Israelis had a right to be furious with Obama for demanding a settlement freeze in the first place. It should come as no surprise to the Congressman at the level of anger. “Stunned” was he. My goodness.
If Obama doesn’t want to be portrayed as an enemy of Israel, he shouldn’t act like one. He gets no medal for wanting to start the peace process at our expense. Thanks, but no thanks.
Contrary to what this article suggests, Netanyahu has scrupulously avoided casting Obama as the devil and in fact covered for him.
Eldar goes on to help Abdullah.

[..] rouse Israeli public opinion from its apathy about the freeze in the peace process and the government’s support for rightist groups that seek to deepen Jewish control over Jerusalem’s Old City and its environs. Amman is concerned that Abbas’ growing weakness, along with the lack of progress despite Mitchell’s many visits to the region, will increase pressure on the Arab League to suspend the peace initiative it adopted in March 2002.
“Apathetic”? Forget it. Israelis, the majority at least, are thrilled that it is the peace process that is being frozen and not the settlement construction. And as an added bonus we are extending our control over Jerusalem.

Too fucking bad. Fuck obama and fuck the democratic congressmen where they breathe. And for those squeamish folks who disapprove of my language, that is your problem.
Obama IS an enemy of Israel and in fact, of America as well. Why do you think he was awarded the nobel peace prize? Because enemies of America and Israel get rewarded by the international community. Jimmy Carter also received this award as did yassir arafat.
Laura you got it right. Obama got the prize not for what he did but for what they expect him to do.
Obama’s Award of the Nobel Peace Prize Astonishing
Who do you think nominated him 11 days after taking office?
You sing beautifully, bugs. Sinatra could have learned much from your phrasing.
Obama has a visceral hatred of Western civilization, which he views as being imperialistic. He expresses hostility towards those viewed by the Left as “colonial powers”, specifically America and Britain and Israel. Hopenchange is very easily understood – he is a mindless conformist to the left wing narrative. I have never heard him express an original thought. He spews socialist cant.
His biggest fan…Barack Obama.
Lets face it folks he the poster boy for all the liberal governments in both Europe and South America.
Just what the worthless, useless UN can be proud of.
The vote was all anti-Bush. This community organizer is sworn in in Jan. and nominated in February.
What a farce. Next time you open a Cracker Jack Box you just may find a Nobel Peace Prize. Why not, Obama is an example anyone can be awarded the prize. Don’t bother trying to trade if off for any baseball cards, it aint worth it.
lol, thanks ayn.
laura: i’d love to see a huge bumpersticker/billboard campaign using your language.
all accross america.
Yeah. My thoughts exactly
