BNP are racists and antisemites

Yesterday I posted an article by Melanie Phillips dealing with the BNP. A number of us myself included voiced support for them while pinching our noses.
Perhaps we were to quick.
Robin Shepperd, who I very much respect, just wrote BBC gives British fascist party a public drubbing over Holocaust denial but continues to whitewash Holocaust deniers in Mid East

As it turned out, Griffin was in any case subjected to a drubbing by members of the audience, fellow panelists and a moderator who rarely dropped the ball in exposing him to ridicule and shame. Questioned about his Holocaust denial Griffin was reduced to barely coherent mumblings. “I can’t tell you the extent I changed my mind,” he said in an apparent attempt to hide his real views behind fake concerns that he could face prosecution under European law because countries such as Germany make Holocaust denial a crime. Griffin emerged looking like a fool. A job well done by the BBC.
But if only the BBC’s opposition to fascism and Holocaust denial were applied more widely. For when it comes to the Middle East and the wider Islamic world, it is all to often prepared to engage in a whitewash.
Shepherd is very anti-Islamist and always defends Jews.
While the BBC and political parties in Britain may see Holocaust denial as being beyond the pale, they all fail to see the significance of the Holocaust and they remain willfully blind to the lessons the Holocaust teaches Western democratic peoples.
That failure and willful blindness is beyond the pale.

The BNP as the lesser of two evils:
The BNP are the descendants of nazi wannabees. The german christian nazis hated the Jews because they were “the least white of all the white peoples, a mongrel group that threatened the “purity” of the white race and who must be exterminated.”
White liberals reacted by becoming fanatical white self-haters. White liberals now label Israeli Jews as “the whitest of all white peoples, the real nazis, the most racist, colonialist, imperialistic entity on earth, and who must be exterminated.”
As usual, Jews find themselves once again as the monkey in the middle.
What to do? At present, the greatest threat to the destruction of Israel comes from the alliance of Jew-hating white liberals with Jew-hating muslims. It does not come from the BNP, although it might in the future if they ever gain power.
Conservative Jews currently make alliances with the Republican Party in America, the Conservative Party in Canada, and with evangelical christian zionists. And they like Geert Wilders, who is a Dutch toned-down version of the BNP.
Survival often requires making a temporary deal with the devil. If the BNP are black-hating, muslim-hating, Jew-hating, holocaust-deniers, at the present time they still seem preferable to the English Labor Party (and maybe the Conservatives too), so Jews should not go out of their way to criticize the BNP, and let the BNP fight it out with the liberal self-hating whites.
There is another issue which is the nation state.
Judaism gets its progressive character because it is an expression of Jewish nationalism, the nation state and the Jewish Homeland, in secular as well as religious terms Zion.
That is the issue. THE KEY ISSUE.
And that is why the BNP was alone in Britain in giving support to the right of Israel to wage a war just some months ago to defend its nation state against Hamas.
The BNP emphasis on the English nation and nation state finds itself in the same camp, despite other contradictory things.
Trotsky made distinctions in his writings. For example he saw Rivera in Spain as an aristocrat, not a Fascist, (Many were getting this wrong, especially dogmatists were) because Rivera did not have a plebeian mass base, the central component of Fascism.
In Germany and Italy it was different. Mussolini did have a mass base and both he and Hitler used socialist demagogy in great amounts in their propaganda.
Islam on the other hand is a Fascist movement and ideology.
So are those in Britain who opposed Israel and its right to defend its citizens in the Gaza war. Those atacking the BNP on Question Time are actually closer to Fascism and to a last man are antisemites. Strange but true.
It was also a state Fascist movement which lied and stripped the Serbs of their nationality.
Goldstone is much closer to Fascism, state and world dictatorship Fascism than is the BNP.
This is the true Trotskyist analysis..
It is not a dogma. We think for ourselves and try to see reality for what it truly is.

It sounds like the guy is no better than Jeremiah Wright or Al Sharpton. On the other hand, he was also arrested for anti-”Islamic” hate speech, and “the BNP has a Jewish councillor, Patricia Richardson,[91] and spokesman Phil Edwards has stated that the party also has Jewish members. The BNP has stated that it does not deny the Holocaust, and that “Dredging up quotes from 10, 15, 20 years ago is really pathetic and, in a sense, rather fascist.”

Nonsense. Geert Wilders isn’t remotely in the same category since he is a staunch defender of Jews and Israel. Unfortunately all conservative parties in Europe will be lumped in with the BNP which is exactly what the left and islamists want. It will continue to be impossible for anyone to stand against the islamization of the west without being labled a neo nazi. Yet the islamists are the true modern day nazis.

Actually it doesn’t Bill. It sounds precisely what he said. That native Brits are the ones feeling marginalized and under seige and that racial minorities are being catered to and are already represented by their own exclusive groups and therefore there’s a need for a group to specifically cater to the interests of native white Brits. He does have a point. I’m not thrilled with the BNP but there is no mainstream party which is standing against islam, in fact the major parties are bending over backwards to accommodate muslims. Even the Church of England has defended the implementation of Sharia. And ironically as Felix pointed out, only the BNP defended Israel’s right to self-defense against hamas. Even the tories castigated Israel during the Gaza war.
99.9% of Western media and politicians engage in holocaust denial. The new ‘hd’ is not ‘the holocaust did not take place’, but rather the denial of the role of Islam, and the denial that the final solution was relocated and defeated in Palestine in 1948. This is all well documented. Husseini’s Bosnian nazis relocated to palestine with their German masters in the grand jihad to obliterate the Jews.
The new hd is denial of ‘subsets’ of what actually took place. ‘Muslims did not participate! or if they did it was only because ‘islamophobia’ forced them to!’ ‘even if they did, it doesn’t give Israel the right to steal that land and put them in concentration camps!’. As best as I can tell, ALL Israel-hatred is predicated on selective hd.
Given this fact, if the BNP supports Israel’s right to defend herself, then their brand of hd is nowhere near as nefarious as that practiced by the US elites, the UN, and the ‘international community’. And let us not forget that our fascist media slanders all supporters of Israel, such as Christian fundamentalists, as ‘right wingers’ and similar epithets. Supporters of Israel are demonized. Critics of Islam are demonized.
As others have stated, Wilders is a true friend of the Jews, a brave freedom fighter, an ideological descendant of Jabotinsky, Bergson, Mihailovic, and any similar types that actually did what was right, regardless of the fact that the ‘liberal’ media slandered them as a fascist.
I’m in favor of foreigners staying out of British politics — and out of Israeli politics and out of American politics. We all have enough on our plates in our own countries.
However the world won’t stay out of Israeli politics. They think they can even determine where Jews should be allowed to live in the Jewish homeland.
