How Climate Change Legislation Works

This cartoon is designed to break the commitment of working-class Americans (the Democrats’ traditional base) to their leaders. It shows the Obama Democrats colluding with “fat cat” corporations at the expense of the people. We doubt that people who have to work eight or more hours a day to put food on the table and send their children to college will be very happy about this. Note that:
(1) Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) named J.P. Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs (along with the New York Stock Exchange) as likely beneficiaries of climate change legislation.

But the chart didn’t say anything about the climate! Maybe it’s worth spending billions, if we can stop Mars from warming. I don’t know exactly how the earth will benefit. Cows are the biggest generators of greenhouse emmisions, so far as I know (in their farts). Will the government issue rectal petcocks to cattle?

Lord Christopher Monckton, former Science Advisor to the Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, argues that President Obama will sign the Copenhagen Treaty at the December 7th-18th, 2009 meeting of the United Nations Climate Change Conference without seeking a two-thirds ratification of the treaty by the Senate, or any other type of Congressional approval.
Moncton is a well-known critic of the theory of anthropogenic (man-made) causes for global warming who has argued repeatedly that global warming hysteria is an ideological position of the political Left advanced in the interest of imposing global taxes on the United States in the pursuit of international control of the U.S. economy under a one-world government to be administered by the UN.
Lord Monckton has repeatedly challenged Al Gore to a debate to which Gore has refused. Monckton sued to stop Gores film An Inconvenient Truth from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educating the public about the myth of global warming.
