National Jewish Democratic Council: Weak Point in the Enemy Line

NJDC Proves Obama and Clinton are Unfit to Hold Public Office

Many military principles also apply to politics. Suppose you are a French cavalry commander, and you see two enemy infantry squares. Do you attack (a) the British square or (b) the Spanish square, which has just thrown away its fire at 200 paces? The latter is the scenario presented in Bernard Cornwell’s Sharpe’s Eagle, in which the fleeing Spanish soldiers then run straight into the British square, thus breaking it apart as well. In politics as well as war, the idea is to attack weak and indefensible points, thus causing their elements to trip up and disorganize the stronger ones. We advise our Republican friends to attack the National “Jewish” Democratic Council, aka the National Judenrat Democratic Kapos, in the same manner. This article will provide plenty of ammunition, and more is available here.

A few days ago, NJDC’s Ira Forman called upon organizations and individuals to “take the responsibility for outing and yes, even shaming, the purveyors of sinat chinam [baseless hatred] in our community — to protect our values and to protect our community’s genuine political interests.” We promptly challenged NJDC to do exactly that but, having waved its editorial fist in the air, NJDC is now disinclined to use it on anyone who actually calls its bluff. Instead, NJDC decided to smear John McCain today while ignoring our challenge.

We stated last April that Republicans own the National Jewish Democratic Council, and it should in fact be a Republican asset. NJDC has itself set the standard that disqualifies Hillary Clinton and especially Barack Obama from holding any position of public trust or responsibility.

National Jewish Democratic Council Decries Mitt Romney’s Embrace of Henry Ford

February 12, 2007

Washington, DC – The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) expressed its deep concerns today about Republican Mitt Romney’s decision to announce his candidacy for President from the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, Michigan….

“NJDC is deeply troubled by Governor Romney’s choice of locations to announce his Presidential campaign. Romney has been traveling the country talking about inclusiveness and understanding of people from all walks of life. Yet he chooses to kick his presidential campaign on the former estate of a well-known and outspoken anti-Semite and xenophobe. Mitt Romney’s embrace of Henry Ford and association of Ford’s legacy with his presidential campaign raises serious questions about either the sincerity of Romney’s words or his understanding of basic American history,” said NJDC Executive Director Ira Forman.

Ira Forman has just set the standard that disqualifies a candidate for associating himself with values and ideologies that are repugnant to modern society. It is too bad for him, and even more so for Barack Obama, that he never read King Henry V, because he just gave us the ammunition with which to destroy Obama’s candidacy.

If little faults, proceeding on distemper,
Shall not be wink’d at, how shall we stretch our eye
When capital crimes, chew’d, swallow’d and digested,
Appear before us?

…The mercy that was quick in us but late,
By your own counsel is suppress’d and kill’d:
You must not dare, for shame, to talk of mercy;
For your own reasons turn into your bosoms,
As dogs upon their masters, worrying you.

“Mitt Romney’s embrace of Henry Ford and association of Ford’s legacy with his presidential campaign raises serious questions about either the sincerity of Romney’s words or his understanding of basic American history,” said NJDC Executive Director Ira Forman. Romney could not actually embrace Henry Ford, because Ford had been dead for sixty years, but the following embraces speak for themselves.

Sharpton and Obama

Clinton and Sharpton

As stated by Henry V,

If little faults, proceeding on distemper,
Shall not be wink’d at, how shall we stretch our eye
When capital crimes, chew’d, swallow’d and digested,
Appear before us?

NJDC has condemned Mitt Romney for appearing at the museum of a long-dead EX-antisemite, noting that Henry Ford retracted and repudiated The International Jew. What are we then to say of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, who appeared arm in arm with a live and unrepentant one? We encourage Republicans to circulate:

(1) Pictures of Obama and Clinton with Sharpton
(2) The context (their appearance at the National Action Network and their endorsement of Sharpton and his organization)
(3) Sharpton’s and NAN’s long record of promoting hatred not only of Jews but white people in general, and
(4) Ira Forman’s statement, with stress on National Jewish DEMOCRATIC Council.

The bottom line is that the National Jewish Democratic Council said, whether it meant to say it or not, that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are unfit to hold public office. Since this comes from a Democratic and not a Republican organization, the effect should be absolutely devastating.

Furthermore, Republicans should spread the word about NJDC’s promotion of sinat chinam [baseless hatred] of Christians, as exemplified by its “Bubbie versus Jesus, Crosses, Ministers, and Christians,” aka “Bubbie versus the GOP” video, while making it clear that these hate pictures are no more representative of Jews than the Ku Klux Klan is representative of white people.

In summary, the NJDC is a weak point in the Democratic line through which Republicans can easily create a breach through relentless attacks. Al Sharpton and MoveOn.org (e.g. as shown below) are two others.
