Obamanomics 101
Like many other definitions that have been rewritten by left-wingnuts over time, the term “general welfare” no longer means what it did when it was written in our Constitution and ratified by the colonies in 1789.
As Thomas Jefferson once explained, “To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his father has acquired too much, in order to spare to others who have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, “to guarantee to everyone a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.”
The preamble to the Constitution establishes the goal of the effort as to; “establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.”
Today’s limousine liberals insist that the term “general welfare” implies a Marxist view that the federal government has the duty and the power to “take from each according to his ability, and give to each according to his need,” – to define and measure out individual well-being against the will of some on behalf of others. This is not only very dangerous to the basic concepts of liberty and freedom; it is diametrically at odds with everything the founders formed.
Target Taxing “the Rich”
Aside from the fact that punitive taxation penalizes the most productive members of society and rewards the least productive, it won’t work. This is not a subject up for debate. This is very old news which has been beyond dispute for centuries.
As a result, Jefferson, America’s best known liberal, stated it very clearly for future generations, – “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”
Jefferson’s point is this, – such an effort is not only punitive towards productivity; it is a “waste.” It won’t work. It=2 0is a “waste” of hard earned resources… in terms of simple economics. But that does not mean that the effort is without purpose. It has a political purpose.
Obama’s Target
The Obama campaign has been very clear about their intention to raise taxes on two specific target groups, “the rich” and “corporations.”
According to their campaign, Obama defines “rich” as those households making above $250,000 in annual income, approximately the top 2% of income earners. They claim that this target group of U.S. citizens is “not paying their fair share” and that they must pay more in order to provide for the “general welfare” of others.
Obama refers to this as “charity” – though charity is usually a private individual act which requires the consent of the giver.
This is exactly what Jefferson said we should not and could not do. But Karl Marx is very much in favor of such a notion, and so is the Obam a campaign and all of their voters who never fail to cast their votes on the basis of what their government can do for them in their personal lives.
Who Pays Taxes Now?
Is it true that the Bush administration has lowered the tax burden for “the rich” and placed it upon the average Joe?
No, it isn’t… According to IRS reports for 2001 through 2006 (last report available) this statement is not at all true. It is patently false!
The Top 5% of income earners pay an increasing lion’s share of all taxes in America.

2002 – 53.8%
2003 – 54.36%
2004 – 57.13%
2005 – 59.67%
2006 – 60.14%
In each year since Bush took office, the top 5% of income earners, those making more than $150,000 per year, have paid an increasing share of the federal tax burden.
It is not at all true that “the rich” do not pay their “fair share.” “The rich” have been targeted for a very long time already. I’d sure like to know what definition of “fair share” we are working with here.
Meanwhile, the bottom 50% of income earners ($32,000) have enjoyed a decreasing share of federal tax obligation under Bush.

To put this in terms that even the average modern liberal can comprehend, according to the Census Bureau, the median annual household income rose 1.3% to $50,233.00 in 2007. American households making below this figure will pay less than 3% of all federal taxes collected, while those making above this figure will pay 97%, with the top 5% paying over 60%.
We have been “wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them” for decades now and the fundamental basis for Obamanomics is to do even more of the same!
Class Warfare and Mob Mentality
There’s a good reason why today’s Marxists have adopted the democratic process as its means to advance its socialist agenda… Unlike communism at gun point, it works!
If you place a gun to the head of most Americans, there’s a reasonable chance it is you who won’t live to tell about it. But Americans can be talked into a kinder-gentler form socialism and few will look far enough down the road to see where they are headed.
Democratic Socialists like Obama have been counting on this trend for years now and their mission is all but complete. Jefferson was right about a lot of things… “A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”
Defining “Fair Share”
When those who pay little or no taxes at all (most Americans) get to define “fair share” in the tax code, they will seek out a small target (the rich – top 2%) with deep pockets.
James Madison wrote – “Government is instituted to protect property of every sort; as well that which lies in the various rights of individuals, as that which the term particularly expresses. This being the end of government, that alone is a just government which impartially secures to every man whatever is his own.”
Property rights are at the foundation of individual liberty and personal freedom and our government was formed for the primary purpose of protecting and preserving individual freedom via protecting the right of every individual to earn and own property.
Yet it is the principles of Marxism that drive Obamanomics and rule economic policy via democratic mob mentality today.
Choosing the Right Opponent
Winning any battle begins with choosing the right opponent. Left-leaning poli ticians understand the principle of choosing sides wisely. No matter how deep their pockets, the top 2% of income earners are completely defenseless against the mob mentality of the other 98% of voters who have defined “fair share” as “from each according to his ability; to each according to his need.”
Karl Marx wrote that “democracy is the road to socialism.” Marx was right, at least as relates to any democratic society in which the majority of voters mark their ballot on the basis of gifts from the public trough.
The Fundamental Lie called Corporate Taxation
Corporations are made up of individuals. You can’t tax a corporation. Every penny in corporate tax is passed on to employees, shareholders and consumers, aka – individuals.
The minute someone says they are only going to tax “corporations,” they are attempting to conceal the very real fact that they are in the end, raising taxes on employees, shareholders and consumers.
Back to the Drawing Board
Once again we return to the topic of targeting America’s “rich.” They are an easy target. The=2 0“rich” have been a defenseless target of the left ever since FDR’s Raw Deal re-wrote the Constitutional definition of “general welfare.”
If 2% of the nation’s population paying more than 60% of the nation’s federal taxes is not enough, what is enough?
Would 2% of Americans paying 70% of the federal tab be enough? Would 80% be enough? Or are we simply working our way towards the top 2-5% paying 100% of the federal tab?
This is Obamanomics 101 in a nutshell. It isn’t new, so it isn’t a change. It is more of the same.
More of the same mob mentality, class warfare and punitive measures against our nation’s most productive and most defenseless citizens.
2% of American citizens have no means of defending themselves against the will of the vast majority of modern voters who have been trained to believe that they have a right to the earnings of others. Democrats know this and it is their power.
It is not enough to protect only yourself from continued affronts on individual freedom and liberty. You must be willing to protect and defend the freedoms and liberties of others in order to protect and preserve your own.
What the mob can do to only 2% of your fellow citizens, they can also do to you. What Obamanomics can do to 2% of Americans, it can do to you, and eventually it will.
Charity requires the consent of the giver. Give as much as you like. But taking from a few against their will in the name of the mob, is called tyranny.
Do you really have any doubt about what Obamanomics represents?
What does this prove? It doesn’t take into account what percentage of the wealth they control. If the top 5% control 90% of the wealth for example, then they are actually paying a much lower share.
Oh please, most defenseless citizens? Can anything be more absurd then claiming the wealthy are powerless and defenseless? The fact that they are wealthy makes them powerful. Look, there are legitimate arguments to be made for opposing tax increases, but this one is silly. As far as being the most productive citizens, being wealthy in and of itself doesn’t mean one is productive. Some have been born into or married into wealth and some others are stock speculators on Wall Street or hedge fund managers who produce nothing. The most productive citizens are the middle class and working class. They actually work and produce.
Uh-uh, it doesn’t work that way. If the highest earners are paying a larger proportion of the total take in taxes, then that fact speaks for itself. These Americans may also be amongst the wealthiest but so what? Do you want to tax them annually on their wealth as well? (In fact, we do tax them when they die).
Hedge fund managers produce wealth for their investors. If they don’t, they earn next to nothing. This is the purest form of production and reward.
Absurd! The taxes are nothing compared to their accumulated wealth. And don’t forget all the other taxes such as GST and state consumption taxes etc that are paid by the masses essentially as an aid the rich to offset their cost of production to increase their profit. That was the whole meaning of the Canadian GST, and similar taxes in America, to take the tax burden off the rich.
Their wealth is no longer a number nor a percentage. At a level as high as it is it translates into economic fascism which can have no outcome except total control by and zero freedom. The control will not even be by the inhuman monsters that are responsible for this system but by their technology and their machines. It leaves not even any room to appeal to anyone’s conscience.
The rich use wealth not for luxury but for power, and the way to achieve power is to deny necessities to others and prevent others form living progressive lives. The public has lost even the imagination of what could be done because they have been so thoroughly brainwashed and clobbered by the economic control of the elites.
The rich have enough money and capital to make life a paradise for everybody, instead they make it a living hell. They are responsible for endless death and misery at home and world-wide. The consequences of their absolute selfishness is far-reaching. If even a quarter of the capital was given to the public it could be used to produce a self creating, self maintaining utopia for which even the faintest dreams have been lost in the clouds of oppression and obfuscation.
Their wealth is absurdly used to eliminate goods and services for the public and to exclude the public from business thus increasing the misery and dis-empowerment of the public. It is actually kept from use by the countries and people that produce it.
It is not capitalism if there is no capital for the masses to amass , if the capital is owned by only a select few then it is tyranny and fascism. Upper limits need to be put on the amassing of wealth. Anything over should be automatically channeled back into the public, interest free loans, funding public projects or just cash back. The public needs to be given a share of ownership in the production instead of being in disposable servitude to it. Slaved , used up and discarded to die.
The wealth of the rich needs to be stripped from them , their monopolies broken and the top one percent put on trial for crimes against humanity. Most of them deserve execution for for what they have done to humanity. They need to stand on the same gallows as Saddam and The Nuremberg war criminals.
The wealth can be given back in any number of ways such as interest free loans to once again revive the long dead small and medium businesses. Think tanks can develop national project s to use the money to fund the the national interests , projects that will pay back. This is called growth. We do not have economic growth, we do not even have anything near the concept. The monopolization of business and services eliminate growth and narrows it. We have retrogression , not growth. North America is a barren wasteland to what it could be.
Elite sponsored public education had zombied the imagination and drive o the public. There are arguments and counter propaganda created to stifle creative and critical thought before it even begins. Then they create the system dogs, the system apologist who regurgitate their programming and attack an who try to challenge and change the system.

No matter which party gets in charge, we are all going to the gulags and even worse than many of you could never imagine possible. Technology has changed the face of future horror, you will wish you had ovens. Altering tax rates will mean nothing, the system is a juggernaut and will keep on rolling. Whatever party gets in power the elites will get richer and monopolization will get stronger no matter what baloney is spouted by either side about “taxes”.
An analysis of either Obama or McCain will show that they both serve the ruling elites with simply a different emphasis on which elites take preference at the trough.
Taxes are not the problem of restricted growth. The amassement of wealth and power by a few creates a totalitarianism which “taxes” has no meaning. While nothing is being reported or discussed in the MSM corporate lawyers are passing laws to entrench their power and take control of the legal system. The last small TV networks were gobbled up recently and thousands of local newscasters fired and programs terminated. One national size fits all. The MSM never blinked.

The first step for the public to take control of the MSM and break them up into small and medium business ownership so that everything can be exposed including who has been controlling the MSM and how they have been manipulating the public. The American and Canadian public is not yet fully aware that they are no longer North Americans. They have become leveled to the status of third world serfdom .The world’s peoples are just one large labour pool now for the Western elites. Their own populations are becoming an expensive redundancy.
The American economy funds totalitarianism in China and the corporate leaders make themselves rich and use this system to enslave and disempower American workers and impoverish Americans In fact it was a kind of a putsch, the last history of American has been a series of mini-putsches which have taken power from democracy , turned into to a farce and given control to the elites. Many of the leaders of this “Putsch” have been democrats like Hilary Clinton who sat on the board of Wal-Mart. . She has blood on her hands, not just the blood of Chinese but of Americans in creating conditions for crime to flourish unchecked. Wal-Mart parking lots are the unsafest place to be in America, there is totally no protection there.

Here is a misunderstood reality. America and Canada don’t need Chinese money or goods. Canada and Canadians gain nothing form selling their oil sands. There are so many patently false or misleading statements appearing in the two rants above, so much misinformation, and frankly so much inoperable paranoia, I’m going to simply sidestep most of the hot steaming piles and cut right to the quick of the only two material issues for rational debate:
1) Do the wealthy in America pay their fair-share of taxes?
2) Who actually owns/controls the media?
The first question is of course, loaded because one must first define the meaning of “fair-share”. If by fair-share, we mean a system whereby those with the highest incomes pay not only a larger amount of tax on an absolute basis but also a larger proportion of their annual income, then yes, the wealthy do pay their fair-share in accordance with the figures of the Williams article. But since the debate here also appears to center on personal wealth, let’s take a quick look at the tax crafted specifically to confiscate the accumulated wealth of the “economic elite”:

The issue of who owns/controls the media in America is an even more interesting one than taxation because it seems everyone — on both ends of the political spectrum — is convinced that it is the “elite” on the opposite pole that wields power. Ask any conservative whether he believes the media is biased in their reporting and he will immediately condemn some outfit like NBC as guilty of the worst sins of political spin and chicanery. Ask a liberal the same question and he will holler and stomp about the neocons at Fox news.
It is true that widely read or viewed media organizations in America are in most cases subsidiaries of massive global conglomerates — where the news division is often a very small (and often money losing) component of the whole profit-making enterprise. Here is an interesting schematic from Advertising Age illustrating the nation’s largest media companies and their various holdings.
Notice that in the top five for example, we have Time Warner which owns CNN, Walt Disney which owns ABC, and News Corp which owns Fox. Is there a discernible pattern here which might suggest a monolithic political perspective pushing the hoi polloi in one direction or another? I don’t think so. What I see is a disparate group of broadcasters and news groups interested in one thing: ratings. Their corporate agenda is not subjugating the body politic but bringing in the largest audiences for advertisers.
Now, how about the notion that it is the parent companies themselves – corporate monsters that they are – who are in fact driven to dissemble and deceive the public so as dumb everyone down and maintain their nefarious grip on power? The raving lunatic above states with no shame that “the Western media is owned by less than ten families”. Yet, all one has to do is take a peek at a 10K for Time Warner or Walt Disney to see that each has literally thousands of owners. 81% of Time Warner’s stock is held by nearly one-thousand financial institutions and mutual funds; 73% of Disney’s stock is similarly held. And who are the owners of these financial institutions and mutual funds? The 51 million American households who invest in the stock market; that’s who. Not exactly a cabal.
If you want to discuss a media organization which ruthlessly holds onto its power and privileged position, possesses a distinct agenda other than to inform or entertain, routinely lies to the public, uses the most sophisticated propaganda techniques, and sustains a monolithic political perspective, you need to look across the pond to the BBC. But they are of course a non-profit welfare case — the product of a degenerate socialist and soon-to-be Islamic state.
The North American Elections are Dog and Pony shows. They are Stage Shows, Mass Distractions, full of sound and fury told by idiots and signifying nothing.
They are all corporate parties. In all the times you have voted for them, they didn’t and don’t represent anything you thought they did and you were conned, misled and misdirected by the propaganda control of the corporate MSM in an rigged electoral system for “voting” in which you were no more than an sock puppet, your thoughts and opinions carefully shaped and formed by invisible hands all of it with no more meaning or relevance to your life than the latest TV reality show.
And the illusion and control is so perfect, they do this again and again, they betray the electorate again and again the MSM does the same con job and the masses vote for them or another the same the next time.
After the election is over the same people will own the electorate like owning so much cattle and the same people who put on the dog and pony show, the MSM, will still be in charge.
The major source of information for the masses is the MSM media. They don’t report on themselves and suppress information that is distributed about their media monopoly.
So long as the masses don’t look, don’t seek out information, they accept the apparent illusion that they are living in a country with free speech without understanding that the channels to speak are owned by a handful of families who exercise their own full agenda. Every aspect of what the masses think is carefully and surreptitiously shaped by the owners of the MSM.
The masses are programmed for ignorance and to do the corporate dirty work. THE MSM don’t need to monitor dissent and the exposure of truth directly, they have the group mind of the masses under lock and key. They just engineer the masses to attack and scorn those who attempt to reveal the truth of how the system is working.
And so people are their own worst enemies and their own jailers by allowing themselves to be propagandized without any critical inspection of their propagandists.
It’s not completely threatening to the MSM that a few individuals can search out truthful information and rant about it on the internet. They watch the numbers and they have them, they know they’ve got the masses locked up. It’s takes much time, effort and skill to ferret out he truth. and even when it is found there are few channels to present this information to the masses.
I don’t like Noam Chomsky’s Anti-American politics but his understanding of Media control and “manufacturing Consent is quite excellent. If he had less of a partisan burr in his bonnet, he might have reached more people. Too bad.
The last real threat to the MSM and the power elite is the Internet. It’s not a big threat, just a troublesome thorn. But they are taking care of the last threat to them, that’s why all the all the new legislation is being passed now in all Western counties. This is why there is a media blackout or The MSM themselves want to take control of the last free information market. And they are accomplishing that very well.
Those who own the MSM are all members of the power elite and have full interests in supporting the power elite with their full power to control the flow of information. That is what the continuing economic crunch is all about. Corporate consolidation with corporate politicians and corporate media spearheading the way.
All MSM news is designed to obfuscate, confuse, misinform and keep the masses ignorant and confused.
There is still a great deal of information out on the Internet. It used to be available only in dusty “non-circulating” basement stacks of University Libraries and even those that knew where to look had jobs with major corporations.
But don’t’ be fooled, all the information is not open and available. It is very hard to trace the connections and the names in the power elite. They use all the power they have to try to suppress information about themselves.
But go ahead, have a go, try to find freedom. You can’t change the system unless you know how it works, it’s your last chance really.

A discussion of taxes is a complete non-sequitor. There will be no system change by introducing any taxation change. That is why it is a safe issue for Obama and McCain. You can get people to argue about personal attitudes but really it does nothing.
This issue is completely meaningless.
The “wealthy”? this is a misnomer. The so called “wealthy” do no simply just own more things than others they own the others. They now have monopolistic control of essential goods and services and all the elements of their lives. They own the system of production they own the wage system and the prices. They won the labour laws and have successfully subverted all of them. They can pay ten times as much taxes and get it back any other way they want such as raising prices, lowering wages and getting more labour for less price. etc.
Understand what “taxes” really mean.
This is part of the cost of production for the elites who own the means of production. The public is an entry line in their accounting books and they want to keep tat cost as low as possible. But if the cost were higher as some politicians want, it simply makes no difference in the neither the short nor the long term.
Taxes is part of the cost of doing business. The public is the machinery of production. The “wealthy ” so not share in society, they now own it.
I understand the necessity to call the ideas I present “lunacy” and encourage the public to not think about these things. System apologists and the elite live in fear of these ideas, as well they should. I present a partial glimpse int a complete solid and specific platform of proposed system change.
Everything I mentions is not a paranoid’s delusion. it all exists chapter and verse and is ignored, courtesy of the MSM
The MSM is in complete control of what ideas are presented to the public so my ideas will seem very surprising to the general public and will require explanation which is beyond the scope of posting here on an internet comment. It’s useful in that every time I prod a system apologist I get more insight into the methodologies and destructive nature of the elites. What is evil is not what is natural, it is what is distorted, so they must be prodded to reveal themselves. As is the case here when they come up with their twisted denials and defenses of the abuse of power and obfuscations Fi the actuality process of economics in order to hide the process of fascism.
Chomsky was right about something thing. He understood that new and radical ideas cannot be presented as sound bytes or in limited time. The public cannot hear such new statements as “we don’t need Chinese money” without hearing the body and knowledge that supports that statement and what it actually means, what are the consequences and what are the unexamined alternatives. (In fact “Chinese money” is an illusion, the money is nothing real to Canadians (public) it actually translates into deficit and loss in every way in their own system)
The amount of undisclosed truths and hidden processes in this area is so enormous and the current awareness is a complete void. It needs complete documentation to be done by someone. Maybe there is someone ambitious out there.
It will be something for the future survivors to wistfully read in the dark ages ahead.
I see my post got in later. A careful digest of that material will reveal that there is nothing raving about the concentration of media ownership and it is exactly as I presented and perhaps even worse.

Yes, Who actually owns the media? This is never discussed by the MSM , though they sometimes allow others to “discuss” it somewhere unnoticed, just to be “fair”. Anyone who wants to know this has to hunt, research, analyze and spend years of sweat. That’s’ one thing Chomsky got right. The knowledge won’t come easy and the average person has neither time nor resources to find out and of course there is no truth form the instrument of public manipulation which is the MSM.
The powerful don’t even want this topic discussed or critically analyzed. It is too dangerous. In years of Internet posting any mention of it has simply gone into a blank space in the minds of my audiences. The paradigm is simply to alien for them to even start to consider or to respond to, This is a testament to the brainwashing power of their socializations. Every thought, every attempt to clinically investigate their own social order is preempted in their years of elite-directed state schooling. They cannot analyze and separate the various components of their society. They are trained to have an ego defenses against self-inspection. They cannot separate the good components form the bad. They think they have a system that is only one method being called Capitalism and Democracy with a free press and that any attempt to change it means communism or some over evil.
