Merkas HaRav: “Annapolis” is to blame.
“He who is kind to the cruel, is cruel to the kind.”
By Ted Belman
In the wake of the Arab terrorist attack in Jerusalem which killed 8 young Merkas HaRav Yeshiva students, and counting, everyone deplored the killings and insisted the antidote is to continue with the peace process and/or they defended our right of self defence.. How predictable.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown
-
“Those who wish to stop the peace process by violence should be stopped from doing so by the combined voices of people throughout the world. The way to answer those people of violence is to move forward the peace process as quickly as possible.”
Foreign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel said.
-
“These terrorists are trying to destroy the chances of peace but we certainly will continue the peace talks,”
Senator Hillary Clinton
-
“My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families who are suffering the loss and horror of this despicable act of terrorism.
“The United States and the international community must make clear that such deplorable acts of terrorism will not be tolerated and we must continue to stand with Israel in its fight against terror,”
Senator Barack Obama
-
Condemns “this cowardly and outrageous attack. The United States must strongly support Israel’s right and capability to defend itself. Today, our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and with the Israeli people who defeat these terrorists every single day that they go about their daily lives.”
I say to all of them “Stuff it”. Until you fully support our right of self defence in all that it implies, hide your head in shame. You are complicit in these deaths.
Annapolis must be abrogated and the phasing in the Roadmap must be returned to. No final status talks until the end of terrorism and incitement.
In fact Annapolis caused an increase in deaths just as Camp David negotiations did. When the peace process is dormant, and Israel is allowed to operate, fewer people get killed.
A peace agreement can’t be force fed. The more one tries, the more violence occurs. Until all parties want to make peace, there will be no peace. This will only come about when Israel is allowed to defeat, totally, its adversaries. As Daniel Pipes calls it, the Palestinians must suffer “utter defeat”.
Exactly. One cannot make peace on a grave full of Jewish children. The very thought is an obscenity that deserves to be expunged from the minds of men.

The so called Roadmap to Peace is a disaster doomed from the start because it did not seriously address nor did it put pressure on the PA to make a 100% effort to crack down on Palestinian terrorists groups such as Hamas now not only is Hamas firing rockets at Israeli towns but also Hamas is terrorizing Palestinian Christians in Gaza. I was both angered and saddened to hear about the attack yesterday in Jerusalem that killed 7 innocent Israeli students. Sooner or later something has got to be done to address cracking down on Hamas.
Truth or consequences: Israeli leaders, and the Jewish people, rejected the preventive measures called for by Meir Kahane against such mass murder attacks that Jerusalem has suffered again; Israeli leaders, and the Jewish people, have failed to remove the threat clearly presented by their resident sworn Arab enemies as the Law of Moses commands (Malachi 4:4) and treacherously chose the lying peace process instead, living a lie and dying because of it, suffering the curses for disobedience (Daniel 9:11).
Will the Israelis, will the Jews, repent and confess Kahane was right and act accordingly?

With official and powerful support for the destruction of another state we should all realize that we are back to conditions similar to the period preceeding the begining of WWII. Are we willing to relive the events that resulted in the loss of many millions of lifes.Perhaps the only thing fanatics understand is what happend in Japan. The military complex wanted to continue the war no matter what the prize was. IIt was willing in their insanity to submit a whole nation to HARA-KIRI.And the world is waiting and waiting and waiting. They want one more time to test the Jews. History will not repeat itself.
NO SURPRISES HERE!
Israeli Arab walked into
the major religious Zionist school and shot 19 people, mostly teenage students.
They were not exactly worshiping at the moment, but some of them died with
Hebrew holy books in hands, stained with young martyrs’ blood.
UN Security Council refused to condemn the massacre. The world’s leaders, as
usual, expressed their admiration for dead Jews. And then nothing changed. No
high-level commissions, nothing. Israeli police rushed to announce that the
murderer acted alone, even though someone obviously gave him the expensive
automatic rifle with large number of cartridges.
It is outrageous when Jews kill others. It is normal when others kill Jews
The Palestinians had their chance for autonomy and independence, and they blew it. Israelis should not have to continue paying dearly in blood just to give them another shot.
Like it or not, it is time to take Gaza back. Only this time, we must never give it up again. Let the Left mock the idea of returning to Gaza as much as they please. They were wrong then and they are wrong now.
Frankly, I’d rather be Right and alive, than Left and on the run.

1. Israel could abrogate Oslo and annex the Westbank.
2. Israel could remain a Jewish state
3. the Arabs living there could be offered generous compensation to leave and the EU and the US would accept them as refugees..
4. Perhaps they could be offered citizenship in Jordan or the the new Palestine Mandate.
5. Israel would re-educate the Arabs for peaceful coexistence.
6. At the end of a fifteen year period, Israel would enable the Arabs remaining to apply for Israeli citizenship subject to certain oaths, pledges and commitments.
At that time, Jews would outnumber Arabs in Israel by a margin of 3 to 1. It could remain Jewish and be democratic. With the removal of Palestinian Nationalism every thing would settle down in the new Israel and Israel could focus on removing any vestiges of discrimination

TED LET US BE HONEST, WHAT YOU WRITE HERE IS A WISH LIST, NOT A SERIOUS SUGGESTED SOLUTION.
YOU CITE A BOGUS SOURCE FOR REAVALUATION OF THE DEMOGRAPHIC SITUATION. YOUR DUBIOUS SOURCE SIMPLY LOPS OFF SOME ONE TO ONE AND HALF MILLION ARABS IN THE WEST BANK AND PRESTO YOU HAVE THE SOLUTION TO THE DEMOGRAPHIC PROBLEM. THERE IS NO INDEPENDANT, RELIABLE CONFIRMATION BY ANY OUTSIDE SOURCE TO ANY OF THESE FIGURES CITED.
THE ARABS CAN BE INDUCED TO LEAVE BY BEING OFFERED GENERAL COMPENSATION? WHO IS GOING TO PROVIDE THE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS NECESSARY FOR THIS MOVE? NOT AMERICA AGAIN AND ISRAEL CERTAINLY CANNOT COME UP WITH THE NECESSARY FUNDS. THIS IS A NON STARTER.
ANOTHER NON STARTER IS YOUR SUGGESTION THAT AMERICA MIGHT ABSORB THE 4-5 MILLION PALESTINIANS. DREAM ON WITH THAT IDEA.
JORDAN IS HAVING ENOUGH PROBLEMS PROVIDING A HAVEN TO CLOSE TO 1 MILLION IRAQI REFUGEES AND YOU EXPECT TO SADDLE THEM WITH 4 MILLION MORE.
YOUR SUGGESTION THAT ISRAEL ANNEX THE WEST BANK IS NOT SOMETHING THAT ANY OF THE PLAYERS WOULD ACCEPT. ISRAEL ITSELF KNOWS THAT IT WOULD BE UNTENABLE FOR IT TO ADMINISTER A PEOPLE WHO ARE HOSTILE AND UNWILLING TO ACCEPT ISRAELI RULE.
WHAT EVERYONE AGREES IS THAT ANY SOLUTION, TO BE PERMANENT, REQUIRES, THE FULL ACCEPTANCE OF ALL PARTIES TO THE DISPUTE. YOUR PLAN IS ONE OF ISRAEL IMPOSING A SOLUTION ON THE PALESTINIANS. I DON’T THINK IT HAS MUCH OF CHANCE TO SUCCEED.

The Arabs are always lying. The Jewish leadership is always giving us a snow job. Trust me the demographics are real . The Arabs overestimated their numbers by over a million. Study the Study.
It will cost less to induce the Arabs to leave than it will cost to remove the Jews. And look at all the real estate we get to keep. Studies have shown that the Arabs are prepared to leave. This isn’t an off the cuff proposal. If the US decided to give diplomatic cover its a done deal. If not, a little harder.
Yes Annapolis is to blame. Why push the peace process until the end of terror and incitement? You sure have a closed mind.

The US soon withdrew its 1947 vote for establishing Israel. Britain conducted its usual policy of siding with the weaker to crush the stronger: at times Jews, at other times – Arabs. Russia’s only foreign policy goal is to stir the events and thus bug everyone. France remains attached to its imperial paranoia and builds the imperial alliance with Muslims it is unable to finance or sustain. The UN leadership runs among the world powers, pleading for money and positioning itself as everyone’s ally; naturally, an ally of everyone is an enemy of Israel. There was zero goodwill on the level of governments toward Israel: Europeans supported Israel as a way to get rid of the Jews they failed to annihilate completely, and Britain evacuated its forces from the Land of Israel because Jewish guerrillas carried out thousands of terrorist attacks in the 1940s.
Arbitrators are acceptable when they have no agenda of their own. Friends are expected to share our agenda. America and especially the Quartet of peacemakers are neither friends, nor arbitrators. The best-wishing members of the US Administration want Israel to live in peace. That’s not what the Jews need. The original idea of Zionists – a safe place for the Jews – went up in the smoke of Auschwitz which the Zionist leaders did not care about. After Stalin’s death ended the Russian plans for finishing the German work and annihilating the remnant of Jews in Siberia, safety was not an immediate problem for European Jews. Plans for the Jewish state on Muslim land created a huge security problem for the previously peaceful Jewish communities in Arab countries. The sixty years of fighting prove that in security terms, Israel is a complete failure. The only reasons for Jews to stay in Israel rather than move to Canada are religious and nationalist. Those reasons do not concern the US Administration in the peace process, and are entirely antithetical to Russia and the UN.
Israel essentially brings her case before thoroughly anti-Semitic judges. Even if the judges act objectively, Jews cannot accept their decisions because Jews want a subjective solution. The Britain objectively reasoned that Jewish immigrants don’t need Transjordan, and cut it off from the Balfour Declaration’s territory. Then the UN objectively reasoned that the remaining Palestinian Arabs need a state of their own, and partitioned whatever was left of the Jewish homeland. European settlers, on the other hand, rejected objectivity in America and ethnically cleansed a country for themselves. Jews, too, are partial to our own interests. A Jewish state in the Land of Israel seems as an injustice to Arabs and the Quartet, but it’s very just for the Jews.
As Mao Zedong remarked, a proposition could be true and false at the same time: true for some, false for another. Why would we want arbitrators who find the Jewish propositions false?
What are you putting in your morning coffee? Who is everybody? Full acceptance of all parties?

Eight Israelis murdered after a lone terrorist from east Jerusalem entered the Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Kiryat Moshe in Jerusalem on Thursday night, and opened fire on yeshiva students and teachers in the yeshiva. An off duty officer who happend upon the attack opened fire and killed the terrorist. Five of the wounded are said to be in serious condition.Following the attack Israel Police raised the level of alert throughout the country and set up roadblocks at access routes to the capital in an attempt to nab those who assisted the terrorists to enter the capital. Police said the terrorist came from Jabel Mukaber in east Jerusalem and arrived at the building dressed in jeans and carrying a cardboard box.The terrorist also opened fire at rescue teams who reached the site to treat the wounded, as special police units entered the building to search each room for additional terrorists that may be hiding out there. .Jerusalem mayor Uri Lupoliansky described the situation as a sad sad day for Jerusalem and called on the government to complete construction of the security barrier around the capital. 06/03/08
H. Peskin, do you support the Road Map, a variation or something else altogether?
What problems do you see for the path to peace you advocate for?
What plan do you propose to overcome the obstacles to the peace you envision?
It is not helpful to the discussion if you just wag your critical finger at those who have spoken on these issues.
As for your reference to the Iraq war, both Republicans and Democrats, seized with the same intelligence information supported that war as did most Americans. While such war initiative was seen by some or even many as being good for Israel, that is not what pushed America to attack Iraq.
Why do you suggest otherwise?
Americans did not know or fully appreciate that the Bush decision to invade Iraq and depose Hussein, did not have an accompanying exit strategy. That appears to have been developed on the fly and in reaction the the turmoil the American invasion brought.
It seemed pretty clear within a month or so of the invasion that once America pulled out, there would be a civil war to determine which faction would take power. It would have been prudent for America to have pulled out and left the Iraqis to their civil war. Whoever became leader, even if a militant Jihadist would know that if they messed with the U.S., the U.S. could easily come back and take them out. That likely would have a very salutary effect on the thinking of new Iraqi leadership.
Alas, America is still there having orchestrated the ascension of a new government that draws its strength from America’s presence in Iraq. Once America leaves, be it sooner if there is a new Democratic President or later, if McCain wins the presidency this coming November, Iraq will have its long overdue civil war.
This time if a militant radical Jihadist leader and leadership takes over in Iraq, they will be far less fearful of America, knowing that America left Iraq sick of war and not wanting to come back and thus any new leader will have little compunction of acting to the prejudice of America in the Middle East, if they see that it serves their purposes, rational or otherwise.
I am to blame. I didn’t do everything in my power to remove the arab enemy from Eretz Irael, from “Israel proper” and from Judea-Samaria as the Torah specifically requires me to do.

NO MORE LAND FOR WAR
I agree with you. You are to blame more than we secular Jews because you did not follow commandments of the Torah but those corrupt weak kneed Rabbis who are all on the Governments payroll. Those that claim the yoke of Torah and mitzvot are to blame as you guys know better you study and learn but fail to follow through. Yes I understand about fears of civil war and all the bull but whats that compared to not doing a mitzva that could have been done. It has been convenient to listen to voice of moderation in your camp and traitorous rabbis who have personal vested interests in not rocking the Boat. I saw them preach before Gush Katif and they screwed you guys goo. I didn’t see them at Amona as they were afraid to show their complicitious faces. Rabbis and leaders like them were the same ones or types who exhorted their followers to stay put in Europe when others were telling them to run and get out as quickly as they could. Jews listen to their rabbis at your peril. Where are the Rabbi Akivas of our time?
Just received this from an astute Israeli friend re: Blame Jews for Jerusalem Massacre
You are precisely on target David.
The so called Oslo/Annapolis/Sharm “road maps” of sorts and a variety other named of occasion “peace process” is not something one has to suspend but something we must abrogate. That whole cauldron is a sham.
A war has been declared against the Jewish Nation by the enemies, internal and external and in return we must ELECT a system and people that will adopt a “war process” until the enemies are utterly defeated.
One makes peace WITH DEFEATED ENEMIES, not with ENEMIES attacking our very lives to destroy us.

I agree with every word of S. Halevi: My problem is more with you messianincs than with Kahane. Kahane was not a friend to you messianics and viewed you all as a Paganistic threat to the whole Jewish People. Yes his message was to the Jews and he advocated using the messianic Christians as a force in support of a weakend Jewish people . But thats’ it. You want to use us we are willing to use you! But to date except foe a myriad of bloggers who for the most part are mlitant using the blood of Jews to fight their battle in the run up to GOG and MAGOG I don’t see you guys taking on the Muslims in any arena in the World. Why don’t I see a foreign legion of Christian Soldiers volunteering to fight alongside Jews in the war against the evil Islamics. Why don’t I see a couple of million letters and emails going out to evry menmber of congress against 2 state solution, roadmap, anapolis, state Dept.
giving advanced weapons to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Gulf States etc. Is the arming of Israels enemies with your tax dollars in Your christinian messianic plans for the Jews? How are you all going to kill the Jews in the end times when we don’t convert and accept your god on a stick? Thats what you all believe is it not?
FYI yamit82, I am not a “Messianic” and I don’t appreciate your offensive stereotypes. I am a Christian Zionist who believes the plain truth of the Bible, as taught by Herbert W. Armstrong, and am very aware of what Kahane thought about Christianity (and share some of his condemnations against it) but chose to focus on what Torah I can learn from him and even made honorable mention of him in my book, Beyond Babylon: Europe’s Rise and Fall.
Furthermore yamit82, instead of questioning where are Christian supporters of Israel and such, Kahane would question WHERE ARE THE JEWS? Why do Jews remain in a self-imposed exile, far away from the Land of Israel, failing to follow Judaism to the Jewish Homeland where they could hasten the redemption – something believed by Jews and Christians.
And Kahane would condemn the continual election of treacherous people and parties to the Knesset and blast the hypocrisy of the religious Jews who hasten Israel’s demise and woefully neglect the Temple Mount. It’s not only Christians who believe in the “end of days,” and it’s not only Christians who believe whoever doesn’t ultimately accept the King Messiah and His Servant Nation Israel must be destroyed.
David BenAriel —Sorry to upset, I have enough trouble keeping up with the Jews not less The hundreds or thousands of JC denominations sects, cults and all of their subs.
?I asked a question above which you have not answered. Your book aside for the moment what is your belief that that will happen to the Jews in end times? and what is your belief can save the Jews from their horrible fate?
Is your being Christian Zionist your way of quickening the arrival of those end days and bringing them nearer?
Shalom yamit82, I gladly answer your question in Christian Zionists, Jews, and Israel but believe we should stay focused on the purpose of this thread and strive to agree where we can find common holy ground.
David- I ran into posts from britAm when I was researching Jewish American Indians. I am all for finding lost Jews wherever they may be found, even Scotland, although amongst all the Europeans of whom I really dislike the Scots are OK. Read When Scotland was Jewish, I understand its an eyeopener. I suspect any follower of JC, as we have a History that dictates RESPECT BUT SUSPECT My Family History traces her ancestry to the personal body guard of King David from my fathers side. I am not only in favor of the reestablishment of the Temple but also Temple rites, I am also in favor of re-instituting the position of King. I can see no two things that could unite all Jews under a single banner. I expect a serious earth quake in the near future and I hope it takes care of that abomination on the Temple Mount.
Did you notice the twentieth century began with a Balkans war and after 160 million dead ended with another Balkans war? Would you think you Christians or followers of JC would have learned a thing or two No?
This is my response to Daniel Pipe’s recent Blog that one ought to distinguish between Militant Jihadi Islamists and the mainstream peaceful ones who are comprise the vast majority of the faithful.
To D. Pipes:
Subject: Approach to Islam
I agree wholeheartedly with your view that blanketing Muslims with the stereotype of hateful and dangerous is not the way to go. Especially if we demonize the Koran: we are treading on very dangerous ground.
Since The Koran and the whole of Islamic theology is so closely allied with the ancient Hebrew religion, the obvious danger is that of the boomerang effect. How can we say that Islam is inherently evil, when so much of their practices, rituals and scriptures are based on our own?
This argument has already surfaced. Our enemies are using the Old testament for effective attacks on Judaism. Numerous web sites have been opened recently using direct quotes with devastating effect. Here is just one such site.

Shmuel HaLevi is a person with whom I often communicate with. He received this post and commented in a similar fashion. Everyone should visit his site Haskem.
Some Of Our “Savers” Are Doomers By Andras Bereny
Visiting many Internet sites like that of Haskem it always strike me how intelligent and well meaning people like Profs. Eidelberg, Golbert and others can secularize their otherwise G.d fearing and G.d loving thought-processes, programs and messages.
The simple fact is that we do not have to, actually we must not – improvise. We don’t need to, actually we must not – elaborate sophisticated and complex “plans” to save Israel. Why? Because we already have a GGPP a G.d Given Perfect Plan: The Torah.
So, with all due respect for the good intentions of the eidelbergs, the golberts, the feiglins and others, all surly well meaning Jews with brilliant plans to “save Israel” I say this: You are the problem, not the solution. Why? Because G.d gave us His PP, the Torah, in order for us to put it into action. At Mount Sinai we have been given and accepted the unique responsibility to be The People that puts that GGPP in reality in this world.
So one would imagine that as Jews this is what we should be doing: The Torah tells us exactly what institutions to set up in Eretz Israel and how to run them.
Unfortunately it is not the case. Our country today runs on a different system, democracy, borrowed from non Jewish, alien sources. Per definition it can not be good for the Jews in Israel. It may be just fine for the nations, but for Israel it is not a viable system and inevitably, if not eliminated, it will cause unrepairable damage and will lead to our destruction and downfall. The GGPP tells us to unite, not to divide ourselves into part-ies and fractions.
In conclusion: Democracy is destructive for us, for the Jews in Eretz Israel (see http://www.jewishyisrael.org) and can only hurt us.
What does it mean? It means that our “leaders” and “savers” that work within that system are actually positioning themselves as obstacles between G.d and His People, obstructing Torah, the flow of the heavenly instruction, substituting it with their own plans: This is prohibited, this IS arrogance and we are told to fight it. Abstaining from the vote and anything “democratic” thus seems to be a first must.
Bereny see my comment #18 what the hell are you talking about . Do we go back to the period of the Judges? who selects them, what authority do thy have. I can just see a visit to the White house Judge Debby or Gidi or Sammy isn’t that cute? A king , I will go for that idea but who gets to choose a king?If the King turns out as have most to be no better than anybody else and even worse why would we want a king? We can’t find a good PM but a good king or Judge? Explain?
Rabbis? most are idiots who aside from being more studious of Torah or Talmud have been the greatest disaster to the Jewish people no less than Sabbtai Zvi.
Your comment are meaningless and amorphic without more details
What we are seeking are sensible and workable solutions to complex problems so just don’t throw slogans at us if you think you have the ans. even if it is mystical ans. explain what why and how?
to 28
yes, I’ve seen your comment. I object to your language, tone and content. Some rabbis opinions you may like less then others, but saying that they are “idiots” is unacceptable. Thank G.d we have a nascent Sanhedrin now.
Bereny; sorry you do not like my language, nor my criticism’s of your holier than thou Rabbis, who time after time have been shown to have mislead the Jewish people to disaster to disaster, mainly because of their failure to come to grips with mitzvot of the Torah that were not politically correct for want of a better word! What happened to Devarim (numbers)33:50-53
And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying: 51 ‘Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 52 then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places. 53 And ye shall drive out the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it.
“According to the Rambam one is ordered to conquer the land and not leave it in the hand of any of the nations. This commandment of conquering the land is a commandment that is called a Melhemet Mitzvah, a War of Obligation and that’s what this is. When the Jews have the power we are not allowed to let the pagans live in Yretz Yisrael. If he accepts the seven noahide laws and the status of being a resident stranger and not a citizen he can live there…and if he doesn’t he is not allowed to live even for a moment in the land and some say he is not even allowed to pass through the land. Now that is for when we have power. In the Tanakh we find many nations going to war with the Jews, we never find a single Jewish leader confronted with some one saying give me land saying here take the land or giving the land. We never even find a case where they say give them tribute. The most classic case is the case of Yiftakh, he was a judge, he was the godol of his time, so we find that the Amonim suddenly declare war on the Jews. So the judge sends a messenger asking ‘why are you going to war with me, what you got with me?’ The King of Amon answers, ‘you have occupied my land, when Israel came out of mitzrahim you occupied my land. Just give back the land and let there be peace.’ This is obviously one of the more moderate Arabs. So here is one offering peace and there is no question that the Jews occupied that land, Yiftakh does not give it back in peace and he replies, and one will see in this the whole concept of why one is not allowed to give up land, he said ‘you have an elil named kamosh, whatever your god gives you that is what you possess and all that He drove before us is what we possess’ and he goes to war and there is no question Jews fell in that war and he did not give up any land. Think carefully of his answer.”
Some more examples: one of Abraham being punished for giving up land and concludes by saying even if an enemy ask for hay and barley then they are not to be given it but instead you should start a war against them and that war should start on Shabbat.
Israel is a Dysfunctional country with a dysfunctional people and in fact all Jews today are dysfunctional. What country in the world would allow its mortal enemies to live within its boundaries? What country after winning 5-6 defensive wars pleads with defeated enemy to take back what they lost in same wars? What country having all the energy wealth it needs for it future give it up for a flag on a building in a foreign capital?
6 million Jews perished partly because they lost the instinct of reason and reality. Rabbis told them to stay it would all blow over knowing full well that millions could have been saved by coming to Palistine up until 1938. They listened to Rabbis and not Jabotynski and others. They, one could say with hind sight complicit in their own murders, as were the students murdred in Mercaz Ha Rav Why was security downgraded to an open fence? Why were Arabs employed in same institution? why has Govt. of Israel not doing all it could to protect its citizens? Does one go into shark infested waters without any responsibility as to what might happen if he gets eaten by a Great White? The Arabs being Arabs cannot help themselves they kill, that is their nature.. Is it also the nature of the Jew to always play the victim?
JEWS SHOULD IMPOSE ITS WILL ON THE WORLD NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND
Where are your Rabbis? What are they not teaching? and Why not?
