IF Obama wins 2008, Sunstar will reply to the entire American hemisphere:
“For the first time in my adult life, I am ashamed of my country.”
Then conclude, “This is not MY country or GOD’S country anymore - it’s now a den of vipers.”
My final prayer will be, “God of Israel, please save Israel from Israel’s enemies by super natural conquest! And God save our U.S. soldiers from harm’s way!”
Let all faithful believers make the GOD OF ISRAEL the President of Israel and the United States as imposters invade our countries with an evil unprecedented since the beginning of time.

Then again, may everyone who is kind enough to visit Ted Belman’s site, honor all of Ted’s research by not voting for Obama and voting for MCCain, because IF McCain is LUCKY enough to win 2008, and Republicans are granted the grace of another 4 years to get it together, all these Nebuchadnezzars who boast they are god can end up exactly like both Nebuchadnezzar and Sadaam Hussein were found: “their hair unkempt; their fingernails grown long; and bye bye world of terrorism!”
Will you help America win another 4 years of life by voting for MCCain, or push back history another 16 years as the democrats did during the 1990s and these past two years?”

You are wrong again, Michael Sunstar. This and every part of the Universe belongs to God. What we are seeing is the result of God being very sick of us.
We knew something was going on 911. Every nation has a Saar, an angel, an advocate. 911 proved that we were tetering on the unjustifiable in our behaviors to the Beis Din Shamala, the Big Court In The Sky. The implication of this was a society derelect in morality, with a penchant to steal no matter how crafty the theft.
The Flood, Sodom were not destroyed because of homosexuality and lewd behavior. These were symptoms of a society caught up in self. The cause of these destructions was selfishness and greed. If the United States contained a 51% population who Truly understood what Right is, this would not be happening.
How many people in the United States have faught against the productions on television? How many people gossip? How may people have stuffed their parents into nursing homes, feeling justified if they visit them once a month? How many people know that their neighbor needs help and justify turning their backs on them? How many people justify their backstabbing of their own brothers and sisters? How many people are so desensitized that they think this is okay? How many people like to pick on one particular person because it makes them popular with the gang?
How many people give 10% of their earnings to people in need? How many companies by the cheapest material knowing that it will disintegrate within a matter of time?
Do you think the nursing home parents’ prayers aren’t being heard in heaven? Do you think that the person being hurt by gossip, the character assassination isn’t contributing to the prosecutor? How about the fact that our neighbors are our purpose, no matter how they treat you. And then there is the brother or the sister that you cannot stand, why? You may not even know, you just hate them, why? Do you think that the money (your sacrifice), even though you have earned it isn’t also planned for the people in need around you?
The fact that we are losing the court case is deeper than the fluff I’m writing. When you hurt another person, the impact is great.

Peskin as a charter member of idiots anonymous, a radical left wing , Commie Atheist, and subversive grouping of true believers; a quasi religious & ideologically centered belief system that is exactly the same as anyone else’s professed religion. Peskin, if it bugs you I’ve done well.
A big problem with this policy, is that you cannot take the Torah out of Israel. What I wrote above is Torah learning. I’m not preaching to the Jews, or the Catholics or the Sunstars. I’m just stating my opinion from what I have learned.
Period.
One other thing, the difference between what you call religion and the learning I find absolutely amazing is that all you have to do is say a few words and you are fully righteous. What I have to do is work on my character until the day I die and then Boroch Hashem, I may be considered worthy of miniscule merit.

I know the story very well. There was a Rabbi, I don’t know if it was a particular Rabbi, but there was a Rabbi. He was in a small village and he need to go to Minsk, Poland. He asked a small boy in the town, which was the best way to go and the boy said, “well, there is the short long road, or the long short road.”
The Rabbi selected without asking any questions and he took the short long road. “When he got near the border he found many, many border guards and he barely escaped back to the village with his life. He then asked the boy again about the long, short road and took that and made it to Minsk.

Mary Hogan: I greatly admire your love of Torah, but that is not the point. This site has a stringent rule which states no religious content whatsoever, whether you call it study, learning or anything else you wish to label your comments. I suggest that there are many sites that are specifically designed for Torah studies. You may, if you wish google them and
post your comments there.
Sorry Mary, rules are rules and we cannot make any exceptions. And it is my unpleasant mandate to enforce those rules.

Peskin, if I am not allowed to mention the God of Israel, the God of Avraham, the God of Yaakov, the God of Yitzchak, then it will be censorship. You cannot have a site about Israel that strips bare Israel of their God, then this site is no better than the Crusades. You see, just because you think that God is always to be kept in a box to admire, doesn’t mean that you are going to shut my mouth. Obama is not president yet.
I find it very dangerous indeed that you have a Catholic editor of this site. If Ted Belman abides by rules with implications that God is not the ultimate locus of all things pertaining especially to the Jewish People, then why is he participating in a discussion about Israel?
Just because our society and your religion puts God at a low priority, doesn’t mean that this priority isn’t deadly.
Now if I am censored, than it is just another show of Lutherian and Originian hatred of the Jewish People.
Someone has got to have the guts to say that God is NOT a separate entity to be prayed to 40 minutes a week and then forgotten. Some of us have no other desire than to look for Hashem.
Shame on you, fool.
If these are the rules, then especially in this day and age, they should be changed. I am not proselytizing. You cannot “poof” a person into the quest for Truth.
Now if my perspective is uncomfortable for you, I would suggest that you look deep within your motivation.

My position is that I want political debate and not religious debate. I don’t want this site to engage in debate on the meaning of religious text. But I also don’t want to restrain anyone from saying that G-d gave the land to Am Israel.
There is a lot of grey area in between so the line is difficult to draw.

There is a little problem here and in the United States. You have a problem with the religious text thing, why? Who wrote this material? Personally I believe with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength that it was God Himself. And it’s not good enough for Israpundit, why? No wonder truth has become a transient, manufactured thing up for analyzation according to warm fuzzy feelings, and societal norms. No wonder we are in the trouble we are in.
You want to keep the discussion secular. Why? One gas bag after another gas bag pumping up the ego with no resolve, ever.
And I have been known to be a gas bag myself.
This is a sham. You want people to say that God gave Am Yisroel the land, but you deny the opportunity to discuss the Torah’s perspective of the land.
Then why did Jacob go to Goshen, and Moses not enter the land? Oh, yeah…you can’t use any of this material because it mentions Torah. You can mention one athiest after another, but dare not mention Torah. So where do you get your Truth? Combing websites and reading articles from one lame brain after another. Following men who wrote doctrines and not even investigating whether they knew what they were talking about or their agenda? I’d say Torah is a much more reliable place.
At the beginning of this posting I said I was not politically correct, THANK GOD!!!!!
You should study the word Ivri. It means more than Hebrew. It means that Abraham was diametrically opposed to the belief system of the society that surrounded him. It took a lot of courage to dig and find Hashem.
