Megyn Kelly at her best

  1. Aside from Kelly’s obvious aggressive assertiveness, she did not overwhelm the Obama spokesperson who managed to deflect her questions and views.

Obama and his supporters have been very effective at answering tough questions with outright denials, obfuscations, characterizing such questions as negative campaigning and then raising questions, either irrelevant, disingenuous or dishonest about McCain, his campaign or anti-Obama critic, which all serves to reduce any discussion on problems with Obama to so much seemingly biased Presidential campaign noise.

Megan Kelly made a valiant effort, but in my view she was sandbagged very effectively by the person she was interviewing and it was he who turned it around to say Fox was just making political statements and Fox’s anti-Obama bias is what was motivating Megan Kelly.

As I have noted before, the Liberals and the left wing rarely if ever meet a well reasoned position against them, by advancing a better argument. Rather they engage in ad hominem attacks or dismiss such views as expected from the right wing, etc.

The fact that most Americans are holding Bush and the Republicans responsible for America’s problems with the economy and foreign policy failures and they are so angry about that, that they don’t bother looking to see that the Democrats bear a large, if not equal share of the blame, Americans generally are letting the dishonest Liberals and left wing get away with their dishonesty. The media have played a significant role as well in helping to shield Obama or help him dodge well aimed arrows of discontent and disbelief with him and his views.

It is irrelevant that Obama is or may be a snake oil salesman, that he is left wing, that he is a liar and a cheat, that he is a racist, that he is the worst thing for America, Israel or the world.

The reality is that Obama and his people have been successful in taking advantage of the general and widespread disapproval and anger with the Bush administration and slick enough to put a lot past the American people.

The reality is that Obama is going to be America’s next President and there is nothing the Megan Kelly’s can do to stop that.

  2. Megan Kelly is clearly one of the best news anchors anywhere in the world. I love her spunk, her enthusiasm, her fighting spirit, Megan Kelly is truly a great representative of America’s Newsroom and I am absolutely in love with her (as I am with every Fox News Woman!) in love with them because their beauty is not just skin deep, it’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional beauty that the left will never understand, especially when they criticize beautiful women like Sarah Palin who make ugly women jealous. Fox News is on target with the fact that DEMOCRATIC FISCAL POLICY is COMMUNISTIC CAPITALISM SOCIALISM and I fully support the Fox News point of view on a lot of things. I do disagree with many CAPITALIST POLICIES and I haven’t been impressed by Cavuto’s point of view on capitalism, but I still respect his enthusiasm and love for the America he has come to learn and know. I think what’s sad is that all the wrong people are exploiting the right ideas and going about the exploitation of those good ideas, the wrong way. For example: Obama’s speech was fantastic today - but unrealistic based on current fiscal structures - so if everyone is FIGHTING over financial policies - financial policies must change, not to hurt citizens or punish citizens - but to help, save, and heal the citizens in a way that profits everyone without hurting everyone. There are times when I could just slap Cavuto because he just doesn’t get it because he only thinks INSIDE THE BOX and not OUTSIDE but I respect his overall character in trying to stay within the lines. As for Megan Kelly, she’s awesome! A lot of women can learn from her example, as they should learn from Sarah Palin too!
