The following post came from another Blog. Some people have questioned the quote from The Audacity of Hope that made the rounds. I cannot verify what this poster is saying. Perhaps some of you can. I have read these quotes many times.
Just like anyone else, I was taken aback when I received the email about Barack Obama, but I decided to do some research to see if there was anything at all to the accusations. The only thing I found that was not factual was Obama swearing in on a Koran (That was not true. That was Keith Ellison), and that he attended a wahabbi school. This cannot be proven.
I have done a tremendous amount of research on this man, and one of the most amazing things I found was his remarks in his books, “Dreams Of My Father”, and “The Audacity of Hope” which I checked out from the library.
His admiration for Islam and the disdain for the white race was disturbing. It is all there and it can’t be taken out of context. Yet, nobody has/will call him on it.
This stranger came out of nowhere with his flowery speeches that his handlers have given him, promising America great things- without specifying how -and droves hang on every word, believe every word and follow without question. If anyone dares to question, they are shouted down with ‘Racist’! Bigot’!
This is very very frightening.
It’s time to get the message out to a naive public who are jumping on the “black JFK”, “camelot”,”change”, “take back America” bandwagon, without questioning who this man is, questioning his past, his present associates and backers and his agenda.
The remarks from his books are very, very disturbing. Again, the remarks are there- and they are NOT taken out of context.

He is so pro-abortion that he refused as an Illinois state senator to support legislation to protect babies who survived late-term abortions. In a cold blooded speech, he refused to concede that these babies were “persons’- even though they were fully outside their mother’s wombs with their hearts beating and their lungs heaving. On the Illinois Senate floor, Obama was the only senator to speak against the baby-protecting bills. He voted “present” on each, effectively the same as a “no.”
In the event anyone is not familiar with partial birth abortion; the baby is positioned into the breech position, he is pulled out by his legs half way and a hole in punched into his skull. His brains are sucked out by an instrument while his heart beats and his lungs heave. Obama has voted numerous times against a bill to ban this heinous practice.

Obama routinely avoids voting on any issue that is not helpful to Muslim goals.

I have been attacked for “swift-boarding”, racism, bigotry and lying. This is untrue. I am just an American teacher who loves American and our American way of life.

Well, Obama is a nice guy with a message of hope (albeit undefined), and America wants a message of hope. And Hillary is repulsive both as a peroson and as a politician.
So if Obama were all the things we know about him it wouldn’t matter for his core group.
Regardless of whether he is fit to be president or qualified for the job, he is a cool dude while his opponents aren’t.
In today’s political culture it is hip to wear a Che t-shirt or have a Cuban flag in your office. It is cool to be associated with a Syrian crook with connections to shady Syrian government types and a friend of Saddam. So if America doesn’t care, why not have Obama as president?

Obama does clearly have racial ‘issues’ as evidenced by his chapter on race in the book. Though I don’t agree with his solutions (more of the same liberal affirmative action) he doesn’t play it up much beyond what you except from someone from a minority background. He basically addresses two minority issues: inner city poverty (which to his mind is black poverty) and illegal immigration for Latinos.
In every new presidential election over past 40 years I imagine that that is the lowest one can get, but the next president comes out still worse. Carter, Bush-I, Clinton, Bush-II – they are really the human waste floated up to the crest of democracy. Unimaginably corrupt, unimaginably hypocritical, unimaginably immoral and cynical, and worst of all, unimaginably silly. It doesn’t take much brain to refrain from having sex with a White House intern.
Someone whose only political advantage is his skin color, Obama, sure, is not the first to exploit that dubious advantage: the incredibly stupid BLACK PLAGUE; Rice did it already, even though her Look a like on photos is grotesque compared to orangutan’s. Rice, at least, sprouts some otherworldly academic nonsense, but Obama reminds me of HOWDY DOODY AND ELMER GANTRY ALL IN ONE PERSONA. “Folks, let’s live peacefully.” Shouldn’t a presidential candidate be a bit more substantial than that? And I marvel at the insane Jews who support Obama with their votes and money. Is having monsters such as Carter and Brzezinski on his team not enough to qualify Osama as pathological anti-Semite? Or do they need his friend Farrakhan’s endorsement to scratch their collective head? Of course, Jews gave money to Hitler before he confiscated the rest of it, and a Jew managed the Nazi Air Force during Gering’s extensive leaves. So the Jewish support for Obama is not out of the ordinary. Our people had always had their share of kapos.
Now, I don’t care about Obama’s intents of reforming American politics to the better. He is bad for Israel, bad for Jews. Incidentally, he is also bad for Americans. Does having the old guard Brzezinski on board sound like an attempt to drastically reform the American politics? To me, it only sounds like a direct path for heads-on collision with Russia, since Brzezinski, like most Poles, is viciously anti-Russian. Anti-Semitic, to boot.
Look at the amount of donations Obama has collected. Did the political donors suddenly become charitable, and support someone who promises to do away with corrupt politics and lobbying? Or did they give money to Obama because he promised to repay them back a hundred fold through government contracts, concessions, and subsidies? Obama is a newcomer, investing in him is particularly risky, and he could only attract large donors with promises of unusually high returns to them.
obama is the one who is utterly repulsive as a person and politician. I am so sick of those who continue to defend this miscreant.
Yamit, ditto, but ours is a democracy (unfortunately), and Obama is a fantastic politician, by which I mean that he is able so sell himself and get to where he is. This is not an endorsement by any stretch, I would even say that your comment about him is an understatement, but we cannot have a council of elders select the next leader, and even if we could, who would select the elders?
Democracy is flawed. Hamas won in ‘Aza, Hitler in Austro-Germany, Slobo is fascist Serbia, and like it or not, Putin got 42% the first time around (only 10% was added fraudulently then; the last time fraud accounted for 70% of the total).
Democracy is subject to manipulation (as in the States with lunatic fringe MSM), intimidation and terror (as in ‘Aza and Russia and our inner cities), and liberal guilt.
Do we need a dictator whose sole purpose is the safeguard of our Nation and that of our friends? Would he need to be the guardian of our laws as set forth through an assembly and not by judges mandating law? Can we have a leader whose concept of International peace means if you attack my country and that of my friends, would be to eliminate your ass from being?
Each time we seem to elect a president of the USA, we vote not for the best, but for the least worst, consequently, our leaders get weaker and less trustworthy. Since circunstances change every generation, the concept of government can and does change with it. I’m for democracy, but if it no longer works for us, let’s look for an alternative with safeguards.

My take on Obama Valdemort is that he is a creation of the press, and of the special interests who control it. All the pollsters last Fall were predicting an easy Hillary nomination because of her “name recognition” — and this was correct, because hardly anyone had heard about this junior junior nobody from Illinois/ Hawaii/ Indonesia. He has obviously caught up in “recognition”, and we have only the press to credit for that. Like the Valkdemort of the Harry Potter series, I prefer for the moment to think of Junior as “He who must not be named”, if for no other reason than that the thought of him might upset my dinner. I prefer to think about John McCain, a true hero who stood firm for his country (America) in the most dire circumstances. There has never been a man of this (McCann’s) caliber running for President, to the best of my knowledge. The choice ought to be a no-brainer, but… Let’s put it this way: The American voters have perfectly good brains; they’ve just been fed a bunch of baloney.

Today MSNBC had a gushy little June Cleaveresque concoction of sugar on their website. The article proved that Obama’s mother was an expatriot who wanted nothing but to blow away the belief system of her community, her family and her country.
So much feminism, so little love. Color me edgy but, my speculation is she was a libertine, and all that that encompasses. I may note here, that I believe that homosexuality is hedonism pure and simple.
So what am I saying: What is George Soros trying to brainwash society into thinking now, that a woman who hates her society, despises her country, and dumps her child can raise a loyal American about to vie for the presidency. Come one!! Didn’t anyone notice that during the last “super Tuesday,” That Barak Hussein and his wife were wearing black?
There are great black intellectuals in this country, (certainly not Ms Rice) who are capable of getting this country back on its feet. Why a person so Islamic in name, angry in nature, following Rev Wright for years and then denouncing him, so inexperienced…so close to the top of a country his mother hated? Wright, his (excuse me if I cringe) spiritual leader an absolute hater of America. His wife’s family, if we looked into that, haters of America.

The Communists tried what they considered equality. The problem with this small minded thinking is that most jealousies are spiritual in nature. You can have a society with dollar for dollar equality, but then there is ugly and beautiful, smart and not smart, talented and not talented.
Cry babies and the mantra “its not fair” is something that a mother tries her best to de-instill in her children. You say that I as a white person don’t understand what it is like to be “black” in America. To me, this mentality is what is destroying America.

The funny thing about everything in life is that it is in the Torah.
The Jewish People, is an amazing entity. They were slaves who know Hashem had this in His plan. Jealousy is not a typical Jewish problem, although it occured. Korach. The funny thing about this is that Leviim held NO property, only depended on Terumah, the giving of others. Everything in life is shown in Torah. Why were these people jealous, and not Moshe and Dovid Ha Melech? Because the above people were totally wrapped up in self, self was their god. Moshe, Dovid, Chizkiyahu, Yaakov, Yosef, it was about Ha KOdesh Baruch Hu, the Holy One Blessed Be He.

Hey, I’m an old white woman, kinda poor, driving an old Saturn with its muffler tied up with wire, who changes her own mothers diapers, a mother who is helpless. If my lot in life is to be a diaper changer, than I am doing to do it to the best of my ability. I’m not going to waste precious time wanting this and wanting that. I am so happy with this moment in time, to learn, to teach, to grow.
