Zogby: one day poll has McCain over Obama 48 to 47

ZOGBY SATURDAY: McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday poll. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all…

  1. Let’s hope to God that finally voters are awakening from their stupor.

  2. If McCain does pull this off, we can thank Joe the plumber.

  3. Did anyone hear Schwarzenegger stump in Ohio yesterday for McCain? Had he been invited to tour the country with McCain three months ago, McCain would be leading by 7 points instead of trailing by the same margin (based on an average of all polls).

A completely botched campaign, 10 years from now people will be asking, “who was the Republican candidate for president in 2008?”
