1. Obama’s father was a Muslim polygamist.
2. Obama’s step-father was a Muslim.
3. In Indonesia he was registered in school as a Muslim.
4. Occasionally he went to the Mosque for prayers
5. He took religious classes and studied the Koran in Arabic.
According to Tine Hahiyary, one of Obama’s teachers and the principal from 1971 through 1989, Barry actively took part in the Islamic religious lessons during his time at the school. His teacher was named Maimunah and she lived in the Puncak area, the Cianjur Regency.
“I remembered that he had studied “mengaji” (recitation of the Quran)” Tine said.Our guy in Jakarta writes: “The actual usage of the word ‘mengaji’ in Indonesian and Malaysian societies means the study of learning to recite the Quran in the Arabic language rather than the native tongue. “Mengagi” is a word and a term that is accorded the highest value and status in the mindset of fundamentalist societies here in Southeast Asia. To put it quite simply, ‘mengaji classes’ are not something that a non practicing or so-called moderate Muslim family would ever send their child to.
The Obama Campaign told the LA Times he wasn’t a “practicing Muslim.”

In 2007, classmate Rony Amiris describes young Barry as enjoying playing football and marbles and of being a very devout Muslim. Amir said, “Barry was previously quite religious in Islam.
“We previously often asked him to the prayer room close to the house. If he was wearing a sarong he looked funny,” said Rony.
Amiris now the manager of the Bank Mandiri, Jakarta, recently said, “Barry was previously quite religious in Islam. His birth father, Barack Hussein Obama was a Muslim economist from Kenya. Before marrying Ann Dunham, Hussein Obama was married to a woman from Kenya who had seven children. All the relatives of Barry’s father were very devout Muslims”
Rony extrapolates further, that Obama at one point had to change his religion if he ever intended later to run for the office of President of the United States because America would never elect a Muslim to the be President of the United States.
Also in 2007, Emirsyah Satar, CEO of Garuda Indonesia, was quoted as saying, “He (Obama) was often in the prayer room wearing a ’sarong’, at that time.”
“He was quite religious in Islam but only after marrying Michelle, he changed his religion.”
6. His grandfather, after whom he was named Hussein, was one of the first Muslim converts in his village.
He “fiercely devoted to Islam.” He had at least 3 wives: Helima, who had no children, Akuma who gave birth to Sarah Obama, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. and Auma Obama.
“What your grandfather respected was strength — discipline.” Obama quoted his grandmother, Sarah, as telling him. “This is also why he rejected the Christian religion.
“For a brief time, he converted, and even changed his name to Johnson. But he could not understand such ideas as mercy towards your enemies, or that this man Jesus could wash away a man’s sins.”
“To your grandfather, this was foolish sentiment, something to comfort women,” she added. “And so he converted to Islam — he thought its practices conformed more closely to his beliefs.”
Grandfather’s third wife was Sarah, the one often referred to by Obama as his “grandmother.” She is not a blood relative and describes herself as a lifelong Muslim. “I am a strong believer of the Islamic faith,” she says.
In “Dreams,” he inadvertently sheds some light on his formative years and the political views of his mother, an anthropologist and Islamophile who hated America and subsequently goes native.
His grandmother raised him in Honolulu. He recently described her as a “typical white person” who fears blacks. Now, the Chicago Tribune reports “the Obama campaign declined to make [his white grandmother] available.”
All because she is white and Barry Obama is a “black” candidate for president.
Although Obama claims Senior was an atheist, Senior was buried as a Muslim.
Obama Senior also had three sons by another woman who are all Muslim.
Obama’s family connections to Islam would endure, however. For example, his brother Roy opted for Islam over Christianity, as Obama recounted when describing his 1992 wedding.
“The person who made me proudest of all,” Obama wrote, “was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol.”
Abongo “Roy” Obama is a Luo activist and a militant Muslim who argues that the black man must “liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture.” He urges his younger brother to embrace his African heritage.
In Kenya while he was a Senator, Obama stumped for his cousin, opposition leader Raila Odinga. Odinga is the son of Senior’s sister, a direct first cousin and nephew of Obama’s father.
August 29, 2007, Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya signed a MoU
Here is a summary on the agreement which was signed:
* It pledges the support of Kenyan Moslems for Raila’s election. In return, as President of Kenya, Raila agrees to 14 actions, listed a) through n) on page two.
* Within 6 months re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions.
* Within one year facilitate the establishment of a Shariah court in every Kenyan divisional headquarters. [Note: everywhere in Kenya, not just in "Muslim declared regions."]
* Popularize Islam, the only true religion… by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa classes.
In an interview with the New York Times, published on April 30th, Maya Soetoro-Ng, Obama’s younger half sister, told the Times, “My whole family was Muslim, and most of the people I knew were Muslim.”
Obama describes describes his new found “Christian” faith as: (1) Suspicious of dogma (2) Without any monopoly on the truth (3) Nontransferable to others (4) Infused with a big healthy dose of doubt, and (5) Indulgent of and compatible with all other religions.
Muslims view Obama as first a Muslim and then as an apostate Muslim. He faces the death penalty in nearly the entire Islamic world.
On February 27th, Barack Hussein Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth.”
In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, “with a first-class [Arabic] accent.”
The opening lines of the Adhan (Azaan) is the Shahada:
“Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet… ”According to Islamic scholars, reciting the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith, makes one a Muslim. This simple yet profound statement expresses a Muslim’s complete acceptance of, and total commitment to, the message of Islam.
An American Expat in Southeast Asia blog, written by an American who has lived in Indonesia for 20 years and has met with both the Taliban and al-Qaeda, contains the following:
“Barack Hussein Obama might have convinced some Americans that he is no longer a Muslim, but so far he has not convinced many in the world’s most populous Muslim country who still see him as a Muslim and a crusader for Islam and world peace.”
“Barack Hussein Obama’s race, his staunch opposition to the war in Iraq, his sympathy to Islam and Muslims worldwide and his Muslim heritage receive the Indonesian media coverage. There is no mention of his apostasy.”
“A good example of how some of the Indonesian media is reporting on Obama’s religion can be found in the following.”
“What I found interesting in the article was the use of the word ‘mengaku’ when refering to Obama’s conversion from Islam to Christianity. The word ‘mengaku’ in Indonesian means “claimed” and as such leaves the insinuation to the native Indonesian reader being that Obama might actually still be a Muslim.
But this is how Indonesians see Obama, they don’t see him as an apostate at all, they see him as a crusader for the cause of Islam.”
On Feb 15/08 Usama K. Dakdok, President of The Straight Way of Grace Ministry called Obama’s Church I then asked her what I needed to do to join. She told me that I needed to attend two Sunday School classes in a row and then I would walk the aisle. I replied, “That sounds easy. One last question please. IF I AM MUSLIM AND I BELIEVE IN PROPHET MOHAMMED, PEACE BE UPON HIM AND I ALSO BELIEVE IN JESUS, PEACE BE UPON HIM, DO I HAVE TO GIVE UP MY ISLAMIC FAITH TO BE A MEMBER IN YOUR CHURCH?”
SHE ANSWERED, “NO. WE HAVE MANY MUSLIM MEMBERS IN OUR CHURCH.” It is important to note that Muslims would not attend church.
“YOUR CHURCH HAS DONE GREAT HARM TO THIS COUNTRY BY COVERING A WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING AND THAT WOLF IS SENATOR BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA.”

The Democratic National Convention reminds me of Charlton Heston’s film entitled: PLANET OF THE APES, ESCAPE FROM PLANET OF THE APES, AND BENEATH PLANET OF THE APES.
Charlton Heston lands back on earth many years later only to find out that a party of chimpanzees, orangutans, and gorillas have taken over the earth and enslaved the human race.
The chimpanzees were pacifist peacemakers who were the smart ones; the orangutans were the pagan philosophers who idolized their own images; the gorillas were the warmongers who enslaved, tortured, and brainwashed humanity. The democratic party reminds me of such a planet, where everything turned GREEN after a nuclear war.
Bush, Cheney, McCain and the Republican party had to go underground as a secret society which worshipped the bomb with a gospel choir singing loud and as the democratic Planet of the Apes entered the caves of their underground society they decide to detonate the bomb as the armies marched to take over.
All jokes aside, such an analogy is quite true in a Revelation prophecy format:
Here come the APES! There goes the neighborhood! No, don’t read a racial statement behind that! This is a political statement, for although Obama does resemble a pacifist kind of Chimpanzee, he has his armies of gorillas preparing for war against humanity and his pagan philosophers ready to suck out our brains. Democrats are evolutionist apes full of chimpanzees, orangatans, & gorillas.
You thought that THE BUSH FAMILY caused SLAVERY – wait until Obama avenges the enslavement of his Islamic-African peoples – it will be the same reaction as Clarence in the movie ESCAPE FROM THE PLANET OF THE APES when he causes an uprising of the apes against the tyranny of human beings who tortured and enslaved the gorillas, the chimpanzees, and orangutans! Talk about a political statement! PLANET OF THE APES was prophetic of the current political realities facing 2008 voters IF Obama becomes President.
OBAMA-NATION = ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION!
Nobody can really prevent or stop Revelation prophecy from happening, although God has been known to delay His wrath depending on the REPENTANCE MODE of the human race, turning to Him wholeheartedly in prayer and supporting His People Israel.
Protecting Israel from the PLANET OF THE APES is PRIORITY #1 and it appears that the Samson Option will be Israel’s only choice as Obama’s Islamic aspirations through the Farrakhan friendly Pastor he adores comes to fruitition. Don’t forget that my first THEORY about the Islamic Nations being the beast of Revelation 13 can still be the end time scenario. Imagine Islamic nations having BIOMETRICS in which no one will be able to buy or sell unless they are Islamic!
Buraq Obama will be their winged horse carrying them from the Temple Mount to the Islamic heaven where the Jews will all be destroyed – along with Europe and the United States as the Islamic 20-Year plan could very well happen OVERNIGHT with the election of Obama as President!
Therefore, in spite of the possibility that McCain and Obama might both be GEORGE SOROS RINGERS, I will still be voting for MCCain, hoping he is not a liar, hoping he lives up to his Primary Victory speeches, hoping he really does stand up for Israel and stand with Christian Conservative Republicans in continuing the fight so that the chimpanzees, orangutans, & gorillas don’t take over planet earth and cause slavery, torture, and oppression of humanity.
As OBAMA leads the Planet of the Apes this year and McCain & Republicans prepare their bombs for detonation – how does the story truly end?
Just because I root for the underground society to blow up all the apes does not mean I will be joining their choir and worship the bomb! It only means that I will be sharing Charlton Heston’s statement when he moved on from that movie, to make a documentary about the Bible and convert from being an evolutionary atheist to a Bible thumping believer.

If a President Barack Obama offers the Jews in Israel anything, it will be that Israel can not — must not! –depend on the U.S. John McCain will only further the vain hope that America is there for Israel and her security. Michael Freund wrote another piece to this effect today.
Mr. Fruend wrote: “Indeed, by focusing so incessantly on the Palestinian issue, American officials seem to have dropped the ball on containing Iran’s drive toward nuclear supremacy, and this is having far-reaching consequences.”
Fruend, like the vast majority of Jews, is looking for the US to save the Jews from Iran. Iran is not America’s problem. Iran is Israel’s problem. Many Americans believe (naively) that a nuclear Iran can be contained, like the former Soviet Union. Jews in Israel are looking for America to save her from Iran. Should Iran make good on her attempt to wipe Israel off the map, neither George W. Bush, Condoleezza Rice, nor most Americans will lose any sleep over a few more million dead Jews since Hitler. The sooner the Jews understand we are essentially on their own dealing with Iran the healthier and happier we will be. Don’t depend on worthless assurances from American leaders that U.S. will assure Israel’s security. They won’t.
A President Obama might be good for Israel, if the Jews draw the proper conclusions.

I am afraid I will have to agree with Steve Klein; why should anyone care about Jews? Does any Jew who read about Holocaust honestly cares about Gypsies killed in the death camps? Why should a French company refrain from making a quick buck in transactions with Iran? We the Jews had no problem cooperating with South Africa in developing nuclear bomb, or helping Latin American dictatorships to keep their population in check. When Russia sells missiles to Syria, and America – advanced weapons to Saudi Arabia, why should not Siemens build a telecom network in Iran? Besides, if Siemens won’t do that, Samsung will, or one of the telecom start-ups in Eastern Europe.
Jews can claim Holocaust, compassion, basic human decency – and even make the Western governments pay lip service to those notions, but in the end the governments know they have no fiduciary obligation to the Jews. In fact, most of their constituents would even enjoy if the Jews are fried in the nuclear blast.
If Obama is bad for the Jews: Maybe it will turn out to be the best thing. The Jew does not wish to be isolated. He fears being alone, without allies. He fears man, he trusts only in man and so - in the exquisitely Divine way of the Almighty - precisely that which he fears will be sent upon him. He fears to do that which the Almighty demands - to annex the territories and establish Jewish sovereignty over them, as part of the Holy Land of Israel. The Almighty repays him by turning them into burning caldrons of an intifada, with confused Israeli youth not knowing whether these Holy lands are indeed Jewish or “occupied”. While a world that is normal and knows that if land belongs to you then you annex it, feels free to condemn a country that does not do so as an “occupier”.
He fears to throw out the cancer raging in his midst - the Arab enemy - lest the world turn on him. He is repaid measure for measure by a grim Almighty as the world,! daily, condemns him for “oppression” of people that would not have been there had he had faith in G-d rather than fear of the Gentile.
In any event, the Jew will be isolated, and that is the greatest blessing imaginable. For so long as the Jew has even one ally, he will be convinced - in his smallness of mind - that his salvation came from that ally. It is only when he is alone - against all of his own efforts and frantic attempts - that he will, through no choice, be compelled to turn to G-d. And it is only when the Jew stands alone against a world unified in hatred against him, that the Almighty will turn, in His anger and wrath, against the nations that knew Him not, and His powerful arm that will bring salvation to the Jew will be the awesome proof to the nations that the Lord, G-d of Israel, is indeed One - the only One.
That is why isolation will be. That it is why it must be. It is the greatest of blessings, and the foolish Jew of little faith sees it only as a curse. Foolish Jew, Jew of Exile, whose soul and mind has been destroyed by that Exile, who has turned from a Jew of fa! ith into one of trembling before the man of dust

The 71-year-old McCain’s recent misstatement that al-Qaeda terrorists were being aided by the Iranian regime — quickly corrected by Sen. Joseph Lieberman in a whispered aside — might have been simply a senior moment. Or it might have reflected an intention to do something precipitous about Iran’s growing stature in the region. Either way, scary.
The above incident reflects well why the west is not winning the war on terrorism. In any conflict it is essential to know who the enemy is and what the enemy is all about. Here we have a situation that where most so-called experts on the Moslem world have not the foggiest notion about the the cultures, lifestyles, languages, and myriad groupings that comprise the Islamic world.
Case in point. It is thought by most of the Israepundit Mavens, that Al-qaeda and the Iranian fundamentalists are one and the same. Nothing can be further than the truth. Iran is a Shiite nation and most of the Al quada terrorists are Sunni and both are bitter rivals. When America and its Nato allies invaded Afghanistan, Iran provided its border areas as logistic staging territory for the campaign. Iran and the U. S, having a common enemy cooperated fully. Pakistan on the other hand, who is friendly to America has covertly been assisting the Taliban/Al qaeda coalition since the very beginning of the campaign. The reality is that little is black and white and as in life generally much is nuanced and exceedingly complex.
And before anyone decides to pronounce judgement on the the inflammatory nature of the Koran, it might be suggested that since it can be opened , perhaps reading the book might be a good first step.. Then again since much of the Koran is written in dense verse, perhaps learning Arabic first would be advised. And even if you know Arabic, a really full understanding of the Koran and its numerous commentories requires (in the words of Bernard Lewis) a lifetime study.
On the other hand perhaps you might forget the whole thing and watch American Idol instead.

O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter anything concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word, which He conveyed to Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not ‘Three’ –Cease! Surah 4:171-172 says in the Koran: “O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah anything but the Truth. Surah 5:17 says—“In blasphemy indeed are those that say that God is Christ the Son of Mary. Say: ‘Who then has the least power against God, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all – every one that is on the earth?’” In another version of the Koran,
Surah 5:17 says – “They indeed have not believed who say: Behold! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say: Who then can do anything against Allah, if He had willed to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth? Allah’s is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them.”
Surah 5:72, 73, & 75 says—“They do blaspheme who say: God [ALLAH] is Christ the son of Mary…They do blaspheme who say: God [ALLAH] is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One God [ALLAH] …..Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle…..See how God [ALLAH] doth make His Signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded from the truth!”
Surah 5:116 says – “And when Allah says: O Jesus son of Mary! Did you say to mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? He said: Be glorified! It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then You knew it.”
Surah 5:39 says—“Those who reject OUR SIGNS are deaf and dumb, - in the midst of darkness profound.”
9:30 – The Jews call ‘Uzair (Ezra) a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the Son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (In this) they but imitate what the Unbelievers of old used to say. ALLAH’S CURSE BE ON THEM: how they are deluded away from the Truth!
Surah 10:68-70 – They say, “Allah has begotten a son!” Glory be to Him! He is SELF-sufficient! His are all things in the heavens and on earth! No warrant have you for this! Surah 17:111 – Praise to Allah, WHO BEGETS NO SON, and has no partner in His dominion.
Surah 18:1-5 – Praise be to Allah, Who has sent His Servant The Book, and has allowed therein no crookedness. He has made it straight and clear in order that He may warn the godless of a terrible punishment from Him and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward, wherein they shall remain forever. FURTHER, that He may warn those who also say, “ALLAH HAS BEGOTTEN A SON”: No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers. It is a grievous thing that issues from their mouths as a saying. What they say is nothing but falsehood!
Surah 19:88-92 – They say: “The Most Gracious Allah has betaken a son!” Indeed you have put forth a thing most monstrous! At it the skies are about to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, that they attributed a son to The Most Gracious. For it is not consonant with the majesty of the Most Gracious that He should beget a son.
Surah 23:90-91 – We have sent them the Truth: But they indeed are liars. NO SON DID ALLAH BEGET, nor is there any god along with Him.”

I just recalled that when the Senate was voting to define Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, Obama absented himself but later said he was opposed.

Ted #15: I don’t think there is any question, Barack Obama openly sympathizes with the jihadists as do many on the left. Like vicious anti-Semite, Jimmy Carter, Mr. Obama sympathizes with Palestinian jihadists, Iranian jihadists, etc. I expect this from leftists. I don’t like it, but I expect leftists to negotiate with and to appease our enemies. I do not expect this from the right.
My problem as a thirty seven year Republican is the inconsistency, even hypocrisy, in my own party. Mr. Bush — a self-professed Christian believer — claims we are at war with the “terrorists.” Fine. Bush insists, “We will starve terrorists of funding, turn them one against another, drive them from place to place, until there is no refuge or no rest. And we will pursue nations that provide aid or safe haven to terrorism. Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.”
This are noble sentiments but they ring hollow as Bush pursues his vision of a Palestinian terrorist state in Israel, as he kisses, holds hands and prays with Wahhabi jihadists, Palestinian Muslim jihadisists, Holocaust deniers, etc. Republicans have stood solidly behind Bush as he wallows in these shameful antics with criminals and murderers; as he pressures Israel into sham peace accords with murderers. Mahmoud Abbas is a criminal and a murderer. If I were an Israeli, I would be out there protesting the Olmert puppet government. For the time being, I am an American citizen, so my obligation is to hold my own elected leaders accountable.
I’ve had it with my party’s hypocrisy. Republicans have lost the right to govern at the national level so long as they pursue these duplicitious, indefensible policies in the Middle East.

Yamit, you are right. To one degree or another, every U.S. president has essentially been an enemy of Israel.
My view is that Israel needs to wean herself from American aid and dependency. I would rather live in a tent than take aid from America. Israel needs to be self-sufficient as much as is humanly possible.
That having been said, the Jews in Israel are dependent upon America and most American Jews believe Israel cannot survive without American largess. I don’t know what it will take for Jews to wake up. Will the Olmert government bow to American pressure, withdraw from Judea, Samaria and east Jerusalem resulting in the mass-slaughter of Jews by savages? Do thousands of Jews need to be slaughtered by Fatah and Hamas terrorists for the Jews to wake up and discover America is not a friend after all but an enemy of the Jews?
I am strongly considering voting for the “Muslim” candidate this November. Maybe then the Jews will wake up? We’ll see. I’ve got a few months to think about it. My party’s national party platform (Republican party platform) calls for establishing a Palestinian (terror) state in Israel; for ethnically cleaning our covenanted land of Jews. No way will I vote for John McCain even if he is the so-called lessor of the two evils. I would rather vote for the Muslim candidate. At least the Muslim candidate has made his intentions plain.

Ladies and Gentleman why don’t we brighten up and face the facts of life. No one in the N.S.A.( National Security Agency ) is staying up late at night concerning himself with an attack on a U.S. site by Palestinian terrorists. The concern is with INTERNATIONAL TERRORISTS, AL QAEDA and its affiliates. Israel,and the Palestinians, is purely a regional problem and for America its small potatoes.
Al Qaeda and associated groups have a presence in some 60 countries and is growing rapidly. Iraq is a Cancer and in Afghanistan the situation is not much better.The U. S. is bleeding financially, morally and is paying in the suffering of its military.And you have the audacity to think that America should only concern itself with Israel.
You are living in the past when the cold war was raging and Israel was aligned with the U. S. and the Arabs were defended by the Soviet Union. Now that is long ended and Israel is no longer as important for America as it had been during those great old days.
Yes Hamas is on the U.S. list of terrorist groups, but so is the Tamil Tigers and just how worried are the Americans about them?
And yes Israel does provide the U.S invaluable intel data on terrorist groups but so does Syria which also provides a very useful rendition site (for torture).

George Soros Backs Obama (But Hedges His Bets)

George Soros, the billionaire former hedge fund manager, met with a group of reporters over lunch on Saturday — he paid the check — and offered views on everything from markets to American politics to Bill Gates as a philanthropist.
His own spending on what he calls “civil society” projects is on the rise. “It peaked at $600 million in the mid-90’s,” he said. “I meant to cut back to 300, but I never quite got there.” After stabilizing at about $400 million a year, it will be between $450 million and $500 million this year, Mr. Soros said.
He said he is introducing new projects to promote a common European foreign policy and study the integration of Muslims in 11 European cities.
Mr. Soros commended the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for doing good work while avoiding the hostility he had encountered with his efforts to hold governments accountable for spending. “They have chosen public health, which is like apple pie,” he said.
The United States is now recognizing the errors it had made in Iraq, he said, adding, “To what extent it recognizes the mistake will determine its future.” Mr. Soros said Turkey and Japan were still hurt by a reluctance to admit to dark parts of their history, and contrasted that reluctance to Germany’s rejection of its Nazi-era past.
“America needs to follow the policies it has introduced in Germany,” he said. “We have to go through a certain de-Nazification process.”
As for the U.S. 2008 presidential race, Mr. Soros, who gave $18 million to Democratic advocacy groups seeking to defeat President Bush in 2004, said he supported Barack Obama. But he also said he would support Hillary Clinton if she won the Democratic nomination. John McCain, he said, had “compromised far too much with the Bush administration” and was unlikely to win the Republican nomination. And who will win? Mr. Soros said he thinks the leading possibilities are former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.
On investing, which made him rich, Mr. Soros said that “hedge funds are the market now,” which makes it much harder to beat the market than when he was a prominent hedge fund manager. On Sunday, news outlets reported that far-Left billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Institute provided roughly half the funding of a study that accused the United States and its allies of killing 650,000 Iraqis over the last three years. When the report first surfaced shortly before the 2006 midterm elections, tens of thousands of news organizations – including CNN, NPR, The London Telegraph, and Al-Jazeera – accorded it front page coverage. It also provided a welcome undergirding for Osama bin Laden’s anti-American propaganda.
Osama’s increasingly leftist rhetoric came to its apex in a speech released on September 7, 2007, in which he praised Noam Chomsky as “among the most capable of those from your own side.” (Memo to Osama: Chomsky is not on our side.) In turn, DailyKos and CounterPunch.org bloggers hailed Osama’s video, saying it “made sense” and revealed the Saudi mass murderer as “fundamentally a political revolutionary with a strong sense of suffered injustice.” In railing against the “unjust war against Iraq,” Osama criticized:
[T]he failure of your democratic system, despite it raising of the slogans of justice, liberty, equality and humanitarianism. It has not only failed to achieve these things, it has actually destroyed these and other concepts with its weapons – especially in Iraq and Afghanistan – in a brazen fashion, to replace them with fear, destruction, killing, hunger, illness, displacement and more than a million orphans in Baghdad alone, not to mention hundreds of thousands of widows. Americans statistics speak of the killing of more than 650,000 of the people of Iraq as a result of the war and its repercussions. (Emphasis added.)
We now know George Soros’ desire to end the war in Iraq directly resulted in Osama bin Laden gaining sympathy (and perhaps a new audience on the blogosphere). Yet the media have not reported the whole story: George Soros was not the only antiwar leftist behind the study.
Les Roberts provided the statistical basis for bin Laden’s video. FoxNews described Roberts as “an associate professor and epidemiologist at Columbia University.” The academic also ran for Congress as a – wait for it! – antiwar Democratic “Progressive” demanding immediate withdrawal from Iraq.
Roberts’ first foray into inflating Iraqi casualties (and hence American evil) came four years ago. Just days before the 2004 presidential election, Roberts published “Mortality After the 2003 Invasion of Iraq: A Cross-Sectional Cluster Sample Survey” in The Lancet, wherein he claimed to have personally visited Iraq, interviewing families besieged in their own country. Roberts said they told him more than 100,000 civilians had been killed as the result of “collateral damage” in the war, more than 10 times the generally accepted figure. This claim was helpful in deflecting attention from the 300,000 innocent civilians that Saddam had murdered and buried in mass graves during his tenure. Ironically, the inflated claims of civilian deaths caused by the American military was deflated by an antiwar group, The Iraq Body Count Project, which issued a report in the summer of 2005. According to the report, only 24,865 civilians had been killed since the start of the war, including those killed by terrorists. Of these, the United States was responsible for 9,574 casualties, far fewer by accident than Saddam slaughtered by design in a comparable period of time.
Comparisons meant nothing to Roberts – nor, he seemed to indicate, did accuracy. In an interview with Socialist Worker Online, he declared:
Most of the people killed by the coalition were women and children, which implies the use of a lot of force, and perhaps too much. As far as I’m concerned the exact number of dead is not so important.” (Emphasis added.)
In 2006, Roberts dropped all semblance of neutrality, running for the Democratic Party’s nomination for Congress from New York’s 24th District. His platform called for an American withdrawal from Iraq “on a short timetable,” and he accused President Bush of engaging in “manipulation efforts.”
He dropped out that May, to release another politically explosive – and politically timed – study, financed by George Soros. “The Human Cost of the War in Iraq” appeared in The Lancet in October 2006, just before the midterm elections. Roberts again stated he personally interviewed suffering Iraqis, and civilian death tolls now exceeded 650,000, or more than 450 civilians every day of the war. And again, antiwar leftists and academics discredited his report. The Iraq Body Count soon issued a series of “Reality Checks” dismissing Roberts’s conclusions as “extreme and improbable.” Professor Michael Spagat, an economist at the University of London, stated:
The authors ignore contrary evidence, cherry-pick and manipulate supporting evidence and evade inconvenient questions. They published a sampling methodology that can overestimate deaths by a wide margin but respond to criticism by claiming that they did not actually follow the procedures that they stated.
Other responsible experts have questioned whether the team interviewed as many Iraqis as it claimed.
In the year following his study, civilian deaths have yet to approach Roberts’ estimate. FoxNews notes, “New research published by The New England Journal of Medicine estimates that 151,000 people – less than a quarter of The Lancet estimate – have died since the invasion in 2003.” (Roberts called the NEJM “a very prestigious journal” in his Socialist Worker interview.) The Iraq Body Count estimates the toll at roughly one-eighth of Roberts’ figures, or 80,585-88,004 as of this writing.

Obama Meets With Donors in New York

Senator Barack Obama treaded onto Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s home turf last night to meet with prominent Democratic donors and feel out those who might prefer the sound of President Obama to President Clinton (as in Hillary, not Bill).
Amid intensifying presidential musings by Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Obama met with George Soros, the liberal billionaire philanthropist, then some other donors last night at Mr. Soros’s offices. Afterward he spoke at a charity event that was to be followed by a news conference.
One of the donors who met with Mr. Obama, and who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he did not want to offend Mrs. Clinton, said that he and several others had supported Mrs. Clinton’s Senate campaigns but were not committed to her as a presidential candidate.
“I like Hillary a lot, but I’m also impressed with Obama — his message, the way he connects to people,” said the donor, a prominent businessman. “It’s a little too early for Democrats to be certain that Hillary is the strongest bet for 2008. There are a lot of good people interested in running.”

Obama coveted support from George Soros and Soros responded — along with many family members and probably the Soros ring of wealthy donors. Soros even found a loophole that allowed him and assorted family members to exceed regular limits on campaign contributions.
Soros is also a fierce foe of Israel, for years funding groups that have worked against Israel. He is also a man who has flexed his political muscle as a major funder of Democrat candidates and a slew of so-called 527 groups that are active in pushing their agendas (a reliance on international institutions, defeat of Republicans, Bush-bashing, Israel-bashing). He has also openly proclaimed his desire to break the bonds between America and Israel and has written of his desire to erode political support for Israel.
Soros also called for concessions to Hamas — a terror group that has killed many innocent people and that has called for the destruction of Israel. When this came to light, some leading Democrats personally denounced Soros; Obama had a spokesman issue this rather bland statement:
“Mr. Soros is entitled to his opinions,” a campaign spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said. “But on this issue he and Senator Obama disagree. Sound familiar? It is similar to the response the Soros campaign has given regarding Obama’s close relationship with Pastor Wright.
This mild reproach did not prevent Obama from appearing a few weeks later with George Soros at a fundraiser.
Soros invests when he sees a large return as likely; he proverbially “broke the Bank of England” a few years ago speculating on the pound. Does he intend to break the American-Israel alliance?

h peskin, don’t know if you’ve read it. I listened to John Mearsheimer and Steven Walt’s “The Israel Lobby And U.S. Foreign Policy.” They make some interesting points in the book. Their essential point however is your point, post cold war, Israel has little to no value to America in terms of her security and “prosperity” interests. So in other words, America might as well feed the Jews to the jihadist wolves. Why not? Israel has out-lived her value to selfish Americans. To me, you, Walt, Measheimer and others are what I call moral cowards.

Andy Stern, in his book entitled: OIL From Rockefeller to Iraq and Beyond highlights how the United States hired Osama bin Laden, Sadaam Hussein, and Gaddafi to oust dictator governments who were not cooperating with the U.S. interest. With time, they were paid to turn against us. I wonder why Gaddafi is still alive or Fidel Castro! Ever wonder? And just how did we allow Hizbollah and Hamas to rise up? I would definitely rather see the U.S. in control of the oil and petroleum, rather than Islamic fascists and we are not to blame for Osama, Saddam or Gaddafi betraying us, but we are responsible for the genocide these lunatics commit against the State of Israel. Saying that does not in any way mean that I endorse such a course of action. I am merely stating the obvious.
This does not only apply to the Israeli-American connection.
Another example involving Israel. For many years Israel has had a close military relationship with the Kurds of Iraq. Israel provided arms, training and technical support. However when Turkey invaded the Kurdish region, Israel made a complete U- turn and assisted Turkey. Israel’s calculation was that their Turkish connection was far more important to their overall interests than their involvement with the Kurds.
I am not making any value judgements here, but that is just the way things are in
international affairs.

What is more important to note, is the context of this curse on America. Wright was damning America for supporting Israel, a “state sponsor of terrorim.” He was damning America for her own acts of state sponsored terrorism.
I must believe, to some degree or another, Mr. Obama sympathizes with Wright’s views. Obama has well-known sympathies for the Palestinian Muslim Arab cause and the Muslim Arab world, anti-Israel cause. Obama will negotiate with the most vile jihadist killers. It is astonishing that anyone could vote for Obama with the weight of evidence revealing a hater of America and a hater of Israel and a person decidedly in favor of those Islamic countries that share his views. To vote for Obama over McCain because Obama is so obvious and open in his Mid-East biases and objectives seems a bit like cutting off one’s nose to spite his face.
The other thing that never fails to amaze me is Israel’s endless attempts to bow to American demands. Israel has to divorce itself from the political establishment of America and end the charade of the peace process.
Muammar Qaddafi is now telling the world (on behalf of all Muslims and Arabs) that the “1967 borders are not enough” and Abbas at the same time is condemning Israel in vile language, it is obvious that the Arab world is not and never has been ready for peace. The 50,000 missiles in Lebanon (guarded by the UN for the benefit of Hamas and Iran) need to be taken out pre-emptively.
Israel can’t afford any more visits by Rice. She is pushing the Bush agenda that involves his vainglorious attempts to write a positive footnote in the Muslim history books for his contribution to Israel’s destruction.

Gary, I don’t know if you are Jewish or not. Are you a Jew? For me, a Jew, I hope to put Israel first when I vote at the national level. Since Mr. Bush made the establishment of a Palestinian (terrorist) state a formal goal of U.S. policy, things are different when I vote because Israel must come first. Before, social issues (I am a social conservative), taxes and other domestic issues were a big concern, as was foreign policy. Now my central focus is Israel.
I believe what is good for Israel and her security is also good for America and her security. Consequently, it is very unlikely (close to nil) I will vote for John McCain this coming November, unless by some miracle, McCain alters our party’s goal of destroying Israel as Bush had codified in our 2004 national party platform.
I’ve gotten to the point, I would rather vote for a true believer than a hypocrite for U.S. president. Barack Obama — similar to many leftists — is a true believer in the essential goodness of our enemies; Obama is a true believer in appeasement and retreat, unilateral disarmament, etc. He’s a leftist.

Yours is a good question. I’ve got a few months to think about it. I may not vote in the presidential race. We’ll see. In 2004, I turned the page, voting for neither Bush or Kerry. Later I regretted not voting against Bush; for Kerry because in August 2005 we saw a massive retreat from Jewish land.
Bush apologists insists disengagement was Sharon’s idea. But they leave out the all important fact that Sharon was under intense White House pressure to cede land to the jihadists. This is not to excuse Sharon. There is no excuse for this terrible betrayal by Sharon. Were I in Sharon’s shoes, I would have stood by Sharon’s initital Czechoslovakia warning, early October 2001, only days after the 9/11 atrocities. Do you remember it?

Now Fox News is a team of the most excellent news reporters in the world. They will convince everyone Christian, me included, that Bush is the best man for the job of being Commander-in-Chief and for showing us the beliefs and principles which George Bush expresses:
1. He is a Christian Man with Faith in Jesus Christ
2. He is against homosexual marriages
3. He will not use Federal Money to fund stem cell research
4. He has honesty and integrity
5. You know where Bush stands
6. He is against partial birth abortion
7. He has handled the war against Islamic Terrorism extremely well
8. He is against the United Nations having authority or decisions over our U.S. troops and will not have our troops tried in a criminal court.
9. He wants car companies to transfer to hybrids & electric cars
10. The first bill he signs is the Faith-Based Initiative, granting Faith-Based programs $4 billion to help needy families
Kerry was for none of this and became the adversary of every one of Bush’s beliefs and principles and does not look like, nor sound like he is competent to lead this country anywhere, except into enemy hands.
In our war of Democrat versus Republican, it appears as if the Republican party is fighting against the devil’s chronies on the goat left with the Biblical approach of righteousness, truth & justice and our American Way of the pursuit of freedom.
Although the war was tainted by oil and petroleum interests, the righteous cause of liberating Iraqis from Islamic fascism to create a better world for women and children was and is a cause worth fighting for.
Yet, we non-partisans, who are neither Republican, nor Democrat, (although I am voting for Bush as the better candidate for the job of U.S. Presidency and Commander-in-Chief) are greatly concerned over the Bush and Kerry involvement with Skull & Bones in their early years. Each person, when they hear about the Bush involvement with Skull & Bones, either shrugs and says, “So what?” or doubts in Bush and doesn’t trust him, due to his father’s statement of America being led into a “New World Order.”
I voted for Bush, because although he might have once been involved with the Masonic Lodge, he is definitely a Christian Mason, and historically, Christian Masons have been more Biblical than the New Age Occult Masons, such as Clinton and Kerry. I am not saying that Masonry is Biblical, nor am I supporting the Skull and Bones Society by supporting Bush’s leadership. I support Bush the man, for the good decisions he made in FIGHTING against false peace and I applauded Fox News during his administration for reporting news in the proper context of patriotism for America and Israel against terrorist murderers. Although I have always been against capitalism, I have always been a supporter of my country and Israel as a Nation. I applaud any man who stands up for Biblical Truth in a world that hates God and tries to put a happy face smile on gods who don’t exist.
I would fight for a man like Bush, but not a man like Kerry. If they are both Masons then what is the difference? Is Bush sincere in his faith in Christ or is he part of a Master plan to lure Christians into Globalization politics? Is Bush the good pawn being used by the knights of darkness, to draw out the Christians and obtain the Christian vote? If there were some kind of devious manipulation going on, then Bush would have followed Kerry’s view of transferring U.S. power of war over to the decision of the U.N. Bush would not have stood up for the Biblical principles he believes in, unless of course, like Lucis Trust, we are combining the Jesus of the Gospel with the Jesus of every culture. I will be honest in telling you that I don’t know President Bush’s true heart or his true intentions or how he got seated in power to the highest offices of U.S. Government.
As a non-partisan voter who voted Republican in 2000 and is voting Republican again in 2004, the mere question of the Bush involvement with Masons, the Masonic Lodge, as well as their younger days of being involved with Skull & Bones, casts a shadow government upon both his dad and his own initiation as our U.S. Presidents, for if it is true, that they are Masonic Christians, and not just Christians, then we have a problem to be addressed. It is possible to be a part of the Masonic Lodge, advance through the degrees, and treat it as a Fraternity on a College Campus. That is what the Skull & Bones Membership was for Bush & Kerry – a Fraternity Initiation on a College Campus – the most elite one around. There is a lot of hype about this Fraternity, its secrecy, its rituals, its high-power connections. I personally don’t trust any man to be my leader since Jesus is my only leader and the only entity who represents my Commander-in-Chief, but I have some questions as I go to the voting booth and vote Bush into office, as I think he is the best man to prevent the beasts of Islam in taking over the world and making towel heads out of all of us.
Has Bush repented of shaking hands with Masons? Or is Bush still friends with Masons? Is he getting his money and finances for war from wealthy Masons? Christians seems not to care, so long as we have a Christian President. I agree. Having a Christian Mason is better than having a New Age Mason for President, because at least a Christian Mason has sworn allegiance to the Bible, whereas a New Age Mason has sworn allegiance to every god except the Biblical God.
Although by Biblical definition, you cannot be a Mason and a Christian, there are wealthy Christians who are Masons that don’t understand the occult dimensions of the Fraternity they have sworn allegiance to. In fact, ALL CHURCHES ARE UNAWARE THAT THEIR BUSINESS IS LOCKED INTO THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC BEAST SYSTEM ALREADY.
ALL CHURCHES ARE LOCKED INTO THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM. EVERY PULPIT IS LOCKED INTO BANK DEBT. ALMOST EVERY STUDENT OF THEOLOGY WITH A COLLEGE DEGREE IS LOCKED INTO BANK DEBT. CAN WE TRUST THE SYSTEM TO LEAD OUR CHURCHES TO JESUS CHRIST? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
WE CAN VOTE FOR A CHRISTIAN PRESIDENT WHO HAS BIBLICAL IDEAS, BUT THE AMERICAN SYSTEM ITSELF HAS FINANCIAL CONTROL OF OUR CHURCHES, DESPITE THEIR TAX EXEMPT STATUS.
YOU WILL DISCOVER AMONG OUR “CHRISTIAN” CHURCHES, EITHER REBELLION OR COMPROMISE, REVOLUTION OR SURRENDER TO THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES.
That is what i wrote in 2004 when I voted for Bush.

OBAMA VERSUS MCAIN IS ABOUT IDEAS
As a voter, I am FORCED to choose a candidate who is trying to keep our system alive. McCain’s speech, IF SINCERE, has won my vote with CAUTION. If MCCain dies, as he is very old and could croak next year, as I indicated earlier as a reason not to vote for him, we need a GOOD BACKUP VP and I’m convinced that Huckabee is a Biblical candidate who can be trusted! I pray we push for Huckabee to be VP as Guiliani does not want to be VP.
I like Republican Conservatives for their Biblical positions of keeping the Ten Commandments in our courts of law; for keeping prayer in school; for keeping the cross and the nativity; for keeping IN GOD WE TRUST around; fighting against homosexual marriages; homosexual adoptions; and the porn industry aspirations to corrupt our children (for although every man loves and adores the naked female body, children should not be corrupted with sex so early) for being patriotic for the Republic and taking a stand in the war on Islamic fascism; for honoring our soldiers; for turning a bad cause in oil and petroleum revenues into something good and decent; for proving that some Masons are not on Satan’s side, but on God’s side, despite the un-biblical doctrines Masonry teaches; for opposing partial birth abortions and higher taxes; I do like Huckabee’s approach to taxes and eliminating the IRS; I loved McCain’s speech yesterday and believe that IF HE IS TELLING THE TRUTH, he ought to be given a chance to prove himself and I will conclude one position behind my vote:

Ted Belman is by far the best Obama researcher online yet. I just soak up everything he writes about, talks about and posts. I would have to respect Ted Belman like I respect Fox News, the Weekly Standard, World Net Daily, Newsmax, and other heroes of the written word. Ted Belman impresses me like the Lekarev report impresses me - like all FAITHFUL Jews and Christians impress me.
Ted Belman is a man who cares about Israel and sees the bigger picture of the importance of continuing the war against Islamic fascism, which plagues the Israeli people and making an important distinction with anyone who is connected with Islamic fascism and hatred of the Jewish State and American Republic.
Ted has my respect as the writer of the year - covering Obama unlike any other reporter in the most intelligent, insightful, and factual way.
I know I have a dark sense of humor and tend to be harsh at times, as my style of writing is meant to inspire and make people laugh and OFFEND those who are offensive to Biblical Faith, Wisdom, and Freedom - turning their mockery right back on them and taking the mockery they throw at us and throw it right back at them.
Ted gets my applause for the Obama coverage and I plan to reference his site to everyone I know!

I disagree with Bush and Rice two-state solution and everyone I know understands my position which is in conflict with what Rice and Bush have decided in their two-state solution rhetoric.
There is a lot to criticize the Bush family for, but I still say he was the better choice for a President than Gore, Kerry and the Clintons who betrayed Israel even worse than Bush did. While democrats were busy kissing and screwing ass, Republicans were busy kicking ass on the battlefield.
I pray for President Bush as much as I pray for the State of Israel. And if you think that Bush was bad, wait until you see the future Presidents. 2008 is proving to be a scary year in politics - especially if Hillary or Obama win the White House. If they do, you can kiss America and Israel goodbye.
I hope McCain believes what he has said to the public from his heart and IF he isn’t lying and creating fanciful speeches, like Hillary and Obama are - I will be voting for MCCain.
While Hillary and Obama want to wimp out and leave Israel alone in the midst of the beasts of Islam, at least McCain wants to hang in there and not give up on our soldiers, on America, or on Israel!
Our American presence in Iraq is keeping Iran at bay and that chimpanzee called I-mean-a-jihad in Iran is a sissy! As Israelis make an intelligent choice to remove the treasonous Olmert and Peres from offices they don’t deserve, hopefully Iran can be taken out before they build the bomb and I hope that McCain becomes our next President so we can move on without the democratic aspirations to destroy Israel and America as they historically did all throughout the 20th century!
