Bravo to Dave Gaubatz of the Mapping Sharia project for pulling off this hat trick – serving CAIR executive director Nihad Awad with a summons at the 14th Annual CAIR dinner on Sunday evening. Four clients of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) have filed a federal civil complaint alleging criminal fraud and racketeering against CAIR. The lawsuit also names CAIR’s national leadership as individual defendants. Shades of a similar exploit, serving a subpoena to former Iranain President Khatami at a CAIR dinner in northern Virginia in September, 2006. Read about that exploit that we wrote about here.
