At the end of October, I wrote here about the interview Barack Obama gave back in 2001 in which he said the American Constitution was flawed because it only provided for “negative liberty” – which I suggest is what genuine freedom consists of – as opposed to what the state should do for individuals, or “positive rights” as this is known, which I suggest amounts to state control of individual behaviour. He regretted the fact that the civil rights movement had a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change.
I commented that, since Obama recognised that the Supreme Court was unlikely to redraft the constitution, his stated aim was to bring about some kind of undermining of its values at street level:

As has been pointed out on this blog and in numerous investigations published on the net, ‘community organising’ is straight out of the Alinsky/ Gramsci Marxist playbook – a means of radicalising the proletariat so that it takes power and overturns the values of the society. Alinsky, who believed that the revolution had to be carried out through stealth and deception with its proponents cultivating an image of centrism and pragmatism, set out in Rules for Radicals how capitalism would be overthrown by the mobilisation of the masses and the whipping up of their discontent. As I noted here, the strategy revolved around creating apparently moderate local organisations that would be manipulated by community organisers – effectively deniable political agitators — to foment grievance and dissent.
Apparently oblivious – like so many – to the implications of all this, the Washington Post has told us breathlessly that health policy is to be shaped by harnessing the campaign supporters’ database – despite a few, er, legal pitfalls.

“This is the beginning of the reinvention of what the presidency in the 21st century could be,’ said Simon Rosenberg, president of the center-left think tank NDN. ‘This will reinvent the relationship of the president to the American people in a way we probably haven’t seen since FDR’s use of radio in the 1930s.”
Since those whose input is to be tapped, however, are Obama’s supporters, this “reinvention of the relationship to the American people” will effectively exclude from helping shape the policy of their country the 47 per cent of the people of that country who did not vote for Obama.
A couple of other stories have started waking up to this. Bloomberg has noted that the email list would also give Obama the ability to pressurise Congress.

What Really Happened
Hawaii has two major newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin.
BOTH newspapers include birth announcements, and BOTH newspapers record the August 4th, 1961 birth of Barack Obama.

Now, McCain’s (Rove’s) useful idiots will scream that these are fakes, that they are part of this grand conspiracy by Obama’s parents to smuggle a newborn baby from Kenya into Honolulu to obtain a birth certificate and birth announcements. But what is lacking in their story is MOTIVE. It’s not like Obama’s parents knew back then that Barack would go into politics, and need to be “Natural Born.” Why bother with such a deception, which includes a very risky flight half way around the world with a newborn baby. Under US law, Barack is a US citizen no matter where he was born because his mother was an American citizen, born and raised in Kansas. The question of location is only relevant to the “Natural Born” requirement to be President. Barack’s parents could not have known at the time of his birth that this would be an issue.
And note that in one of the announcements, a residential address is given. Does that sound like the parents just arrived from Kenya? Check it out for yourself on Google Earth; it is a house, not an apartment or motel.

Let’s see the original birth certificate. Birth announcements prove nothing about WHERE he was really born. davidstill you are a particularly revolting individual who I wish would be forbidden to post here. But unfortunately Ted is fair minded.
After the events of today, finally people are going to be seeing just how corrupt your boy is. As much as they may try to protect obama from being tainted by the scandal unfolding in Illinois, its not logical that Obama is the only non-criminal in the Illinois political machine.

And David, most of us folks have no problem believing the Hawaii birth announcement is real and we have no real idea how Kenya or Indonesia are involved in this. We haev one simple request: end the doubts by producing the original certificate.
Why do you think it is unfair to ask the President of the US to unblock the release of what any one of us (you, too) would consider one of the most innoxious pieces of paper in a person’s private life? Would you be so passive had Bush been asked to produce the same and refused?
Congrats are in order, David. You’ve moved up in life, from being Rove’s useful idiot to Obama’s. Because something is very wrong when the incoming President of the United States is afraid to release his own birth certificate.
You’re a 2 bit faker. You have no interest in honesty and integrity - just like your deity, Barak Hussein Obama.

davidstill you are either brain dead or acquired some venereal disease in Korea that is now becoming active in your Grey matter to which you exhibit very little to date. All cynicism aside you are a cults leaders wet dream, as you would believe anything. common sense has not worked with you, logic nor rational argument so one has no choice than to place you in the category of defective from the neck up, from the neck downward is your problem alone.

It is wonderful to discover that the Torah and religious training have made such polite gentlemen of you and that you are polite and gentlemanly, even when you believe someone to be wrong in his opinion.Why should the president elect have to reveal anything because some people do not believe what the voters and the political party he represents believe? Fact: Bush has not revealed or has covered up military records as well as his wife’s driving accident record. McCain refused to release his FULL medical records, repeatedly.

The President of the USA must swear to obey and protect the constitution of the USA, When there is a public debate as to whether Hussein Obama is a natural born citizen as the constitution and Law of the land requires why should he not put an end to the suits and debate by just producing evidence. If he wants a passport a driving licence and some civil service positions a proof of citizenship and residence must be produced in the original. I know of no logical reason why he shouldn’t be forced to produce proof of American birth unless he has something to hide. The truth will eventually come out and there are enough hackers out there who will get the goods on him sooner or later or somebody in ther loop will spill the beans. Better to know before he is officially inaugerated rather than later after he assumes office.
Open democracies require transparancy: and here there is none.

I don’t know whether this is true, but just for arguments sake, let’s say that Bush and McCain failed to release these documents. It makes no difference and is not comparable to Obama refusing to release his birth certificate. You miss the point in that the issue of Obama’s birth certificate goes to the heart of his very eligibility to be president according to the constitution. Neither Bush’s military records, his wife’s driving accident record or McCain’s full medical records are relevant to their eligibility to be president.
