UK and Vatican Call for Cease Fire in Gaza

The United Kingdom has called for an “immediate halt” to violence in Gaza, while the Pope called upon “all sides” to end the violence.
We do not recall either Britain or the Vatican speaking up when Hamas was pouring rockets and mortar shells into Israel. We therefore do not see why Israel should even listen to anything that either entity has to say now that Hamas is reaping what it has sown.
Hmmm…. Did the Brits issue this “immediate halt” request directly to the Palestinians (Or else what? They’ll cut back on the billions they send them?), or only to the Israelis?
As you say, I would ignore them; it’s only the same old broken record, one that’s been played over and over again. It was designed to keep the Jews from winning properly so that they would never ever have peace.
I think the Foreign Office calls it “putting the Jews in their place”.
Maybe Israel should suggest a peace settlement in which England will create a Palestinian homeland right outside London, and move all the Pallies there. Senior citizens in London will know what to do when the rockets start to land on them, because they went through it before in the 1940s.
The reason why the Brits and the Vatican get away with not having criticized Hamas before the current Israeli operations is very simple:
How many times did you see the big media report on the daily attacks against Israel from Gaza, with or without hudnas in the last 12 months?
That answers everything. Unless one reads the Israeli media in English everyday, one simply has no idea what Hamas has been doing. Then, when Israel decides to defend itself for the first time after a shameless, cowardly silence, all of a sudden the international vulture media cover everything.
No American, European or Asian news media ever covered the daily attacks. Think about it! If you are not an Israel sympathizer who specifically looks for daily news about Israel, you won’t get it from any European, American or South American media. Most people don’t even read the papers, just watch TV news… Obviously this is all done on purpose. Western elites, who own those media, are in fact hypocrite, silent supporters of Ahmadinejad. That’s why they won’t tell the truth. You can’t fight the media moguls. This is a lost battle. But we CAN fight the Islamic Nazis while still possible. If we don’t, it’ll be too late.
Jews are meant to die. That’s always been the world’s attitude and always will be. I was astonished at the Jerusalem Post’s editors talk of how the “civilized world” needs to help fight Hamas. Oh you mean the same civilized world that didn’t lift a finger in 1967 and 1973 to help Israel? David Horovitz and the Post editors must have short memories.

Whatever your positions are, whatever you might think the reasons are or whatever any of you writing posts here think will happen or ought to happen, there is no use in discussing.
WE westerners are finally the ones sending NATO or UN forces and weapons and humanitarian help and money to rebuild (or not), thus the main thing is understanding what WE westerners are being taught via our media:
1.- Nobody knows, thus, nobody cares, about rockets sent by Hamas.
2.- Everybody knows, thus, everybody cares, about disproportionate use of force by the IDF.
Who will be coming to help?
The moderates. Palestinian Authority. The Fatah guys in disguise will reopen a new Oslo Process or the like (in Moscow?, who recently offered to do so?) with our new moderate token Obama.
Give Gaza back to Fatah, give more independence to PA, more settlers away, peace for land, they say.
Then Hamas, in due time, shall win new elections, because, after all, these arabs are –ought to be- democratic guys, and then the gangway Iran-Iraq-Syria/Jordan/Lebanon will be ready.
The moderates’ slideshow was then played at the hostage crises back in Khomeini’s Iran, last year as well with the so-called Hamas/PA clashes… and within few days, when IDF retires after PA assures they will control Gaza Strip.
Great chess move.
In this master’s move, jews will be labeled, even more, as nazi-like children killers, the new israeli government will be labeled as opportunists (by using this attack to obtain votes), and PA/Fatah will make its way further to its leaders thesis’ wolf-in-a-lambs-guise.
And no politician in Israel will be able to help it, wether corrupt or not. It must be here, WE, westerners, who stop our politicians and our media, like in the US in the 40’s. It is the good guys in the west who must understand the socio-economic-political laws hidden in the Torah. Jews already know them. The job has always been here. Not in selfdefense (which I do not reject, but believe insufficient).
When this proves right, within the next weeks, I’ll ask Mr. Belman to help me getting new batts for my crystal ball, which is running dry.
I call it a “perverse logic” to decry now “the endless bloodshed in the Holy Land” while remaining silent (if not worse) in front of the biggest and most horrific crime in humanity. The Vatican has not yet digested the fact that it finally helped establish a Jewish state in the “Holy Land” and that Jerusalem is “occupied” by the “murderers of God”. If Pius XII hat raised his voice, the Vatican had no need to raise its voice now – as if anyone interested what they say! Your are perfectly right to put them on your “ignorer list”. I also do so although, or because I’m catholic …
A few years ago I would have said: stop it! for fear of a new raise of Anti-semitism, but today I take it easier, Anti-semitism doesn’t depend on what Jews do (i.e. if they commit the crime of defending themselves or not) – what they do can also be invented.
