Biden: Obama administration to work for a two-state solution
by AP and Jerusalem Post Staff, Feb. 7, 2009

Vice President Joe Biden
In a sweeping speech to international leaders and security at a meeting of world leaders at the Munich Security Conference, Biden noted that it was time for a just and safe resolution of the conflict.
He also reiterated statements made by US President Barack Obama on willingness to hold diplomatic talks with Iran, but stressed that the US will act to isolate and pressure Teheran if the Islamic Republic continues its current course and does not abandon its nuclear ambitions and support for terrorism.
The US will strive to act preventatively to avoid having to choose between the risks of war and the dangers of inaction, said Biden.
But he held out the option that the United States could take preemptive action against Iran if necessary to stop crisis before they start.
Speaking at the same conference, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the West was ready to push for harsher penalties to prevent Teheran from developing nuclear arms.

“It is a must to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons,” she said, alluding to international concerns that Teheran’s civilian program could be used to declare such arms.
Germany’s chancellor also endorsed the principle of greater military support for the US in NATO operations but did not commit to additional deployment in Afghanistan. (Continue Reading this Article)
Why does the U.S. and every other country feel it is necessary for a two state solution?
If it is necessary, then lets create a Palestinian State in Egypt, that’s one and the second, already exist, the Israeli State and they should occupy all of Israel without the Palestinians (including Hamas of course). That’s the only two-state solution that will work. It won’t work otherwise. If you think so, just imagine your first wife’s mother living with you and your new wife. I can’t imagine but, it sounds like a horrible situation.
I can’t tell you first hand since I have been married to the same gal for many years and when she tell me a certain husband left his wife, I look at her and tell her I am not going to let you off that easy, your stuck for the duration.
Notice all the countries that cried foul about Quantanamo. Let’s just see how many make an offer to take these birds off our hands.

Possibly because everyone (including the Arabs) except some Jewish dreamers knows it will never work. Supporting a “two state solution” is tantamount to endording a perpetuation of the status quo: continual turmoil, with its concomitant opportuinties to those in high places to reap huge profits.

Here’s a place where there’s some imagination at work. It’s a place called Abbotsford in British Columbia.
Now what do you think would happen if the rest of the world were to try this ancient method with the Hamas and other such gangsters?

There is no two state solution and a Palestinian state is not going to emerge in this generation.

Keelie - Sounds good to me. I don’t believe in the U.S. you could get away with it. Denying someones civil rights.
Unfortunately civil rights is a two edged soward. Most applicable would be if the public would not buy or support those companies that do business with Iran or any other rouge nation. Follow the money trail and cut it off.
