The Treasury Department has blacklisted an Iranian Kurdish opposition group based in northern Iraq, a move that was greeted enthusiastically in Iran’s state-run media as part of a initiative by the Obama administration to forge better U.S.-Iranian relations.

The Party of Free Life of Iranian Kurdistan, known by its Kurdish acronym, PJAK, was created in 2004 and has never engaged in international terrorism or in military activity outside of Iran.

But its guerrilla fighters have clashed frequently with Iranian Revolutionary Guards units in Iranian Kurdish towns and villages, making it a primary target of the Iranian regime.

PJAK and PKK are not two separate organizations,” a Turkish official told Newsmax. “They are one and the same. That’s just a fact.” But when pressed, the official could not provide any evidence of cooperation between PJAK and PKK, and acknowledged that the two groups were based in different parts of the Qandil mountain range of northern Iraq.

Independent observers traveling to the region have found no PKK presence at PJAK bases, and no political, military or strategic cooperation between the two groups.

PJAK leader Rahman Haji Ahmadi warned that if Turkey is successful in dislodging PJAK fighters from Iraq’s border with Iran, this could have dire consequences for Iraq’s security.

“Turkey wants to control the Qandil mountains with Iran. When they do, they will open the border and allow al Qaeda and Ansar al Isslam fighters to come in. And this will make Erbil [the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan] like Fallujah used to be,” he told Newsmax. (Continue Reading this Article)

  3. Oat, take your pagan Christian beliefs and concepts and stick em you know where.

Who is Gog in Jewish sources and traditions? Nobody knows for sure: We are not even sure of the correct pronunciation of the word no less it’s meaning but Jewish traditions re: Gog and Magog go something like this:

The terrorist attack on the US had actually triggered the war, which according to the ancient writing that we have, is the Gog and Magog war, the same war that is mentioned by Ezekiel (38-39) and by many other prophets. This demonstrates how the terrorist attack on the US does indicate the start of the great last war, Gog and Magog war, and also details what’s supposed to happen is this war.

Midrash: Terror in a big city before Redemption

The YALKUT SHIM’ONI, which is a collection of Jewish ancient rabbis (HAZAL/RAZAL) brings in “clue 506″ a commentary on the Haftarah that was read in synagogues on the exact week when the terrorist attack occurred. This is the commentary according to the old Midrash (”Pirkey Rabbi Elie’zer”):

Rabbi Ishmael says: The Ishmaelites shall make three wars of panic in the Latter Days, as it is written (Isiah 21,15): “For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword”.

One in the sea (there): “from the bent bow”

One in land (there): “from the drawn sword”

One in a big city, which is heavier than both, as it is written: “from the distress of war”

And then [the Messiah] son of [King] David shall emerge, and will show us the destruction of those and those, and will come from there to the Land of Israel, as it is written (Isiah 63): “Who is it who comes from Edom” etc.

When HaShem (G-d) comes from Edom, the SHARET angels come before him and find his clothes red as scarlet. They say (there): “Why is your apparel red”. He says to them, I had a small winepress and I have trodden it, as it is said (there): “I have trodden the winepress alone”. At the same time, HaShem (G-d) takes all of the sins of Israel and puts them on the evil Esau, as it is written…

This extraordinary Midrash, from about 2000 years ago, describes in a clear manner an amazing thing: The Islamic Terror (Ishmaelite=Arabs and Islam in Jewish tradition, “war of panic” must be terrorist attacks, not ordinary war) will eventually strike a huge city (Hebrew phrase: “KRACH”), and that will be the last war that the Ishmaelites will start, and after this war - the Messiah will be revealed, and the people of Israel shall see destruction of two great religions.

It is interesting, that about the question of what happens with the sins of the people of Israel, it is written that HaShem (G-d) is transferring all the sins of Israel to Esau, which in Jewish tradition represents Christianity. This resembles the Ben-Ish-Hay prophecy about the big blow that was transferred before Elul 25th ( Sep. 11th ).

Yamit - not sure why this has any bearing on the matter. My wife also talks in those terms… Truth is, nobody knows. And all the fine words and quotes prove nothing.

    Paganism is everywhere. For example:

When HaShem (G-d) comes from Edom…

“HaShem” is not a man; “HaShem” doesn’t “come and go” like a man. “HaShem” is everywhere; if not, “HaShem” would not be “HaShem”. Speaking of “HaShem” as if “HaShem” were a man is also paganism; exactly as the Muslims do with Allah.

What is (to me) now becoming apparent is that Israel should be heavily supporting the Kurds, especially as the Obama crowd are about to throw Israel over the cliff. It’s possible that knowing the sleazy way the Obama crowd does business, they won’t overtly confront Israel; just be continually obstructive, at which point Israel should simply disengage. The first order of business - one that would send a pointed message to Obama - would be to politely refuse the $2B that the US uses as a leash.

Let the Americans take care of the American situation, and let the Israelis take care of the Israeli situation.

  5. keelie it’s all all metaphorical. Edom in Jewish tradition morphed Esau into Rome and thus the Church as the inheritors of Rome, how do we know? How can Edom, the fourth Kingdom that would eventually split in parts, destroy the temple, be anything else?

I am for sticking with ethnic Jews even if today they are Muslim like the Pathans and some of the Kurds. Now if Christian America wants to destroy them I would oppose that same (friendly) America by aiding our ethnic brothers and cousins. Today they maybe Muslim but tomorrow according to prophesy they will rejoin the Jewish people. It isn’t the money, we got money it is over thirty years on receiving and integration American weapons and systems into all our IDF branches especially the IAF. There are alternatives but that will take time at least 10 years with enormous investment…. In the meantime spare parts could red line half the IAF. That’s the major hold they have on us.

  7. That’s more like it Yamit!!!

I usually differentiate between Catholicism and “non-Catholicism”. It all started with Catholicism…

My question to all Christians reading this blog, is, why not go straight to God? Why does there apparently have to be an intermediary? What does any intermediary do for you that God himself can’t do?
