Putting the blame where it belongs.

Putting the blame where it belongs.

The Washinton Times has an article today that challenges the world to stop funding terror, Arafat's piggybanks, and concludes "It's long past time for Washington to challenge its allies to arrive at a plan for defunding Mr. Arafat's terror network. "

It also carries a news item "Bush: Arafat's a failure" which reports

At a White House question-and-answer session before he opened talks with Jordan's King Abdullah, Bush said he is still committed to the so-called "roadmap" to peace but it will be impossible to achieve unless Yasser Arafat steps aside as Palestinian leader and the Palestinian Authority dismantles terrorist organizations operating in its territory.
Arafat will never step aside so long as the international political and financial support remains. First things first. Stop the support. One would have thought this would be easy given the fact that the EU and the UN are sponsors of the Roadmap which requires an end to terrorism. No such luck. No one cares about agreements or morality. It is all power politics.
