The great David Warren believes ( on his blog) he sees a new metamorphosis in the President:
"The tea leaves I am reading are all over Iraq, and Afghanistan, but also heavily deposited in Gaza. Punches the Americans were still pulling only a few weeks ago are being freely delivered."
If he could only explain how this jives with the Powell apologetics amounting to repulling these very punches ( when it comes to Israel, at any rate).
