Israel's Sharon cancels U.S. visit
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has cancelled a visit to Washington planned for next week.
Sharon had been expected to meet U.S. President George W. Bush during the visit, during which he was scheduled to address a pro-Israeli lobby on May 17. "He has cancelled his trip," an official in Sharon's office said on Sunday without elaborating.
