Militant leader vows attacks on Israel
Khalil Marshoud, the new leader of Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the Fatah militia in the West Bank, vowed Thursday more revenge attacks against Israel.
In the first statement made to reporters after he was chosen as the new commander of the group, Marshoud said that the reaction of Al Aqsa Brigades to the daily Israeli crimes would be shaking as an earthquake.
He said that he gave instructions to all militants of the group to retaliate as soon as possible to Israeli attacks.
Marshoud condemned the assassination of four militants in the West Bank city of Nablus three days ago. Among them was his predecessor as the commander of the group in the West Bank, Ibrahim Abu Hamdan, and three of his aides.
He said that there was cooperation between his group and other Islamic and national militant groups.
We are not scared of death, he said.
