'Please don't commit national suicide' - Pat Robinson

Well, the inevitable has happened: Bush caved in to Arab pressure and reneged on his assurances to General Feet-of-Clay Sharon. Ma'ariv reports:

Despite his warm embrace of Sharon recently, US President George Bush is showing signs of capitulating in the face of pressure from Arab states. In a press conference held following his meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah today (Thursday), Bush called on Israel to withdraw from territories it captured in 1967.
...And it gets worse as you read on.

Anyone who believed that the US assurances were worth a cent, has just had reality spit in his face. Here today, gone tomorrow, but a territorial surrender would likely be forever. Thus, General Sharon's plan of retreat is proved to be a one-way ticket to calamity.

This is the time for Israel's friends abroad to increase their support for Israel, but, as Pat Robertson said in Herzliya in December 2003, "Please don't commit national suicide. It is very hard for your friends to support you if you make a conscious effort to destroy yourselves".

Please go to the Ma'ariv site and post your comments in support of Israel (Comments may not be posted until tomorrow morning, May 7, EDT).
