Bush should talk to this Pastor post haste.
"We were sitting in a Jerusalem hotel lobby over a cup of coffee, and the aforementioned pastor, who heads a major Evangelical church in America's Bible Belt, was clearly in anguish. I had asked him jokingly, I thought, if he were voting for George Bush or John Kerry in the upcoming US Elections. His answer knocked me for a loop".
Avi Yehuda is reporting that conversation in
israelnationalnews.com. What the good pastor is saying, among other things, is how shocked he was to hear Bush talking down to Israel in front the infamous UN assembly just recently while basically giving the impression of "moral equivalency" between Israel and its agressors. Bush better heed that man's feelings for they are shared by many who would wish for nothing better than being able to vote for Bush without betraying their conscience ( and religious faith).
