1. On December 2, Israel Insider carried an article entitled, "I am a settler". The article reviews many of the arguments made repeatedly on IsraPundit, and include this paragraph:
So yes I am a settler! I make no apology for it. I never hurt anyone, I never stole anyone's land. In fact the land I am living on wasn't lived on before I got here. No Palestinians were displaced to make room for me. I wanted to write this piece not to convert anyone to my way of thinking. I haven't even given my reasons for living here. I just wanted to give myself and those around me context.
2. On December 3, JTA ran a most troubling article about the AIPAC investigation. The articles, informs, inter alia that:
A federal prosecutor’s decision to bring an investigation involving the American Israel Public Affairs Committee to a grand jury is, at the least, an unwanted distraction at a critical time for the top Israel lobby — and some worry that it could hamper the organization’s effectiveness.
...
Supporters of the pro-Israel lobby have suggested that the investigation is a witch hunt led by one or two FBI rogues with a history of harassing Jews and Jewish organizations.
Et tu, Brute?
Update:
JPost, in an article dated December 5, ran a story under the heading, "How FBI set up AIPAC", reports in this matter:
FBI agents used a courier, Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin, to draw two senior AIPAC officials who already knew him into accepting what he described to them as "classified" information, reliable government and other sources intimately familiar with the investigation have told the Post.

Re: AIPAC
After Tom Dine left AIPAC (a scandal), AIPAC morphed into something like Yiddish theater, an organization enroute to the history books. What is accurate is that AIPAC is still part of the pro-Israel lobby. Forecasts are easy to make. I rely on the clear and concise statement by the "settler" above.
