Joseph, The clampdown is only applicable to the reservists and soldiers who refuse to force Jews from their homes, it still doesn't cover any of the "peaceniks" who refuse to serve because they're more concerned with the welfare of the Palestinians than of the Jews... Sharon is doing all in his power to destroy the IDF, who will, in a year's time, be crippled if any war breaks out, because he's breaking the will and morale of the men. He should be shot as a traitor! Posted by: Jerusalem Posts There is nothing inherently wrong with changing a law or a regulation. What is wrong is how the change is implemented or in Israel's specific case, the institutions that change the laws and regulations. This is an ideal time to introduce: http://futureisrael.org/ The above link (I hope it links.) is Prof Paul Eidelberg's plan to rehabilitate Israel. Israel does not have a modern parliamentary government with representatives responsible to their electorial districts. This is THE major problem. The harsher regulation is a sideshow just like the Arab sideshow. Under current projections, Israel will loss all of Yesha, most of Gamla and part of Jerusalem. The corridors I charge off also as a loss of Israeli territory. The disestablishment of Israel, first by a reconfiguration to pre 1967 lines, is tracable to a government that is, in effect, a mini-parliament operating within the Prime Minister's office. It serves to implement policy and not develop it. Every problem of Israel can be gleaned from "Justice Minister" Tzippi Livni's announcement. Since over 50% of current Israeli births are not Jewish, Israel will evolve into an enclave around the Jewish sections of Jerusalem. Thus, my recommendation to glance at the above mentioned link. 3. Text of the refusal declaration
From IMRA:
#1 Declaration of Reserve Soldiers
We the undersigned are Jewish citizens in the State of Israel, who serve as reserve soldiers in the IDF. We carry out our army service with pride, cognizant of our obligation and right to participate in the defense of the People of Israel in its Land and in war against the enemy.
We identify with the remarks of rabbis and public figures who see the
"disengagement plan" and the evacuations, the destruction and expulsion, a national disaster and violation of Jewish law that may not be participated in, and hereby declare that we will not give our hands to implement the plan.

#2 Declaration of Soldiers
I will not participate in civil war!
I am a proud soldier in the IDF. My task is to defend the State of Israel and the People of Israel from the enemy.
I may be asked to expel the residents of Gush Katif and northern Samaria, but I cannot.
I cannot, because I am unable to beat my brothers and sisters, my
countrymen.
I cannot expel a mother of children from her home; I cannot drag an old woman from her bed; I cannot use force against a boy.
I will not hurt the handicapped, orphans and widows, raze their homes and give their land to murderers.
I will not hit Jews. Will not uproot the planted. Will not destroy
property.
Will not aid in the destruction of hothouses, take factories apart, destroy the harvest in the fields.
Will not remove my countrymen from their graves, will not destroy
synagogues.
Will not agree to participate in civil war, even if I receive such an order.
I recognize the obligation to obey army orders, but if I am asked by my commander to do these things I will see them as grossly illegal, and as a soldier will be unable in accordance with the laws of the State and the orders of the General Staff, to carry them out and will be forced to refuse the order.

4. Today's anti-pioneer incitement from the PLO de facto organ
See Ha'aretz article, "Stop them before it's too late".
Yea, "Give us this day our daily dread", Ha'aretz!
Note: "Resistance News" is a daily column devoted to news about the Jewish resistance to Sharon's expulsion and resettlement plan. Let it not be said that IsraPundit observed the ethnic-cleansing of Jews in Yesha and reacted with indifference.
