Not a confidence building measure?

Not a confidence building measure?

It's Almost Supernatural pointed to this 4 week old story recently:

Israel has bused hundreds of Palestinians to Egypt so they can make the annual Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca later this month.

The Israeli army bused the pilgrims to Egypt because the Israeli-controlled side of the Gaza-Egypt crossing was destroyed last month in a bombing by the militant Hamas group.

An army spokesman says arrangements were made for about 45-hundred Palestinians to be taken on Israeli buses to Egypt, where they will board planes for Saudi Arabia.

Why doesn't this get press as a confidence building measure? Despite widespread support for terror among Palestinians in Gaza Israel makes sure that they can observe their holiday that might have been ruined by the terror they support. Only the release of those implicated in terror is seen as a "boost" to Abbas, but not the Israeli effort to allow Muslims to worship? What perversity!

They bussed the Paleos? Alot of apparent irony. Why doesn't Israel pay for Germans tourists to visit Israel via train?
