Resistance News, 2005_01_10

See note at article's end.

1. Resistance news making it to Reuters!

The story about "Six Israeli Officers Dismissed Over Mutiny Threat" has made it to Reuters, with the typical exaggerations. A second story, "Gaza Settler Numbers Up Despite Pullout Plan" was also published by Reuters separately.

With every passing day I am filled with more admiration for the tenacity of the Zoinist pioneers who are defending their homes and land against all odds. Herzl and Jabotinsky would be very pround of them.

2. Retaliation, repression are in high gear

From JPost: "Kaplinsky decides to discharge refuser officers"

Also reported by JPost:

Jerusalem Police on Sunday prevented 15 far-right activists from approaching a polling station in east Jerusalem, police said.

The 15 flag-waving activists were holding a spontaneous protest against Palestinian election near the Jerusalem district court.

Has Israel arrived at a point where even demonstrations are prohibited?

3. Sit-in continues

From Arutz7:

The massive sit-in protest outside the Knesset concludes its first week today, with another week of full anti-disengagement/expulsion protest activity ahead.

4. A potential new front

From Ha'aretz: "Senior rabbis may join call for refusal"

5. Listening to the people

From Arutz7: "13 Likud Loyalists To Vote 'No'; Sharon Furious"

6. Eleven tips from Bedein on "How to Defeat the Sharon Plan"

In Bedein's article, at Arutz7.

Note: "Resistance News" is a daily column devoted to news about the Jewish resistance to Sharon's expulsion and resettlement plan. Let it not be said that IsraPundit observed the ethnic-cleansing of Jews in Yesha and reacted with indifference.
