Indonesia has a large overseas Chinese minority. Most of the Chinese are not Muslim. The Chinese experience discrimination throughout Indonesia, both socially and politically. The Director-General should have been briefed before he made the public statement. His statement will be exploited to the hilt. The exploitation will occur north of Indonesia.

The El Al charter was third party funded per the MFA release. A recent IsraPundit link reported otherwise.

Regardless of the flight's funding, Ron Prosor is on my list along with such notables as Shulamit Aloni, Tavarish Pines and many others.
