Yesha: Cease-Fire Exists Only In Media

Lately the mainstream media has been lauding a mythical new Palestinian Arab attitude toward Israel, under the beneficent guidance of Mahmoud Abbas, Israel's moderate partner for peace™. They've even remade the already euphemized image of premier mass murderers for Allah, Hamas, into a less hateful and genocidal version, with headline after headline about cease-fires and recognition at the political table. However, few seem to be interested in talking to the Israelis who are still under attack from the kinder, gentler jihadi maniacs.

"The ceasefire exists only in the media," says longtime Gaza resident Datia Yitzchaki. The Gush Katif entrance was closed for three hours last night after terrorists fired at and hit an army truck.

The truck was hit at the Kisufim Junction into Gush Katif, and the army closed the road while soldiers combed the area. On Sunday, a mortar shell was fired at the community of Kfar Yam, and an explosive device was activated near Ganei Tal. No one was hurt, but Yitzchaki, who once served as the region's official spokesperson, says, "The Palestinian terrorists continue doing what they know how to do: try to murder Jews."

"The gestures and restriction-easings that the government plans to give Abu Mazen," Yitzchaki told Arutz-7 last night, "will simply enable them to better prepare for their next attack upon us."

Datia is right. It's just a hudna.

And even the mighty moderate, Arafat II, can't come between the profound love that a young Palestinian Arab feels for his hatred of Israel and the divine Islamic mandates that obligate him to express it through destruction and murder. That is, if he even wanted to stop the PA national sport of killing Israelis.

Every truce or ceasefire offered for the purpose of the ignorant western press, is merely taqiya, to engender a hudna and prepare for more attacks.
The purpose of the taqiya is simply to fool the westerners into the necessary belief that abbas is "a man of peace", to obtain credibility with the infidel west.
We've heard this so many times before with Arafat, who understood his lessons at the hands of the KGB that one must approach western polticians with an olive branch in one hand and a kaleshnikov behind one's back.
