Would von Ribbentrop sell armoured cars to Israel? So why would Joschka Fischer?

Ha'aretz reports:

The German government is holding up the signing of a contract for the sale of Dingo armored cars to Israel for fear that the Israel Defense Forces will use them against the Palestinians.
It is not clear whether the German government was remembering the cordial relations that their predecessors had with that other "Palestinian", Hajj Amin al-Husseini.

Well, of course, the Textron parallel contract with the German producers has been held up. It's not held up because of the "Palestinians". Berlin is waiting on US acquiescence for EU armament sales to China.

The anti-personnel mines; OK.... The new type floor can protect the crew against "heavy anti-tank mines"??
