See note at article's end.

1. Blatent, raw tyranny

From AP, 2005_03_03:

Sharon Presses Ahead With Gaza Pullout

In a symbolic move, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Likud Party voted Thursday for a national referendum on his plans to withdraw from the Gaza Strip and part of the West Bank this summer, but the embattled leader ignored the resolution and pressed ahead, scheduling a final parliamentary test in two weeks.

2. Protests of the day

From JPost, 2005_03_03:

Court indicts nine for blocking roads Nine right-wing activists, including Education Minister Limor Livnat's niece, were indicted Wednesday in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court after they were arrested Tuesday night for blocking roads near Tel Aviv to protest the Gaza Strip disengagement plan.

Several dozen activists were arrested Tuesday night after they burned tires and blocked Geha Junction outside of Tel Aviv.

And in a seperate JPost news story:

Seven far-right activists who disrupted traffic in Jerusalem during a sit-in protest against the planned disengagement from the Gaza Strip were ordered Wednesday by a Jerusalem court to stay out of the city for the next month, police said.

The seven, including three minors, were arrested in the city on Tuesday. Police said that they plan on issuing indictments against all seven suspects for creating a public disturbance.

3. The de facto PLO organ engages in psychological war

Al-Haaretz, 2005_03_04, runs an article which can only be considered as part of the psychological war being waged by Rabin II and Arafat II. Entitled, "A world that is about to vanish", al-Ha'aretz writes:

Most of Gush Katif's residents have accepted the disengagement plan as a fact of life. But a minority is still praying for a miracle.

The rest of the article is in the same vein - a crude attempt to demoralize Yesha's pioneers and their supporters. For a view of the enemy's tactics, read the complete article.

Note: "Resistance News" is a daily column devoted to news about the Jewish resistance to Sharon's expulsion and resettlement plan. Let it not be said that IsraPundit observed the ethnic-cleansing of Jews in Yesha and reacted with indifference.
