A vital resource in the war against Sharon's expulsion/resettlement plot

A vital resource in the war against Sharon's expulsion/resettlement plot

Yoram Ettinger has e-mailed me information on a new and vital resource:

You don't have to be an opponent of the proposed "Disengagement" to examine a most comprehensive analysis of the implications of "Disengagement" (www.acpr.org.il/hatikvah/index.htm). A creative PowerPoint Presentation will be shortly posted.

The analysis - conducted via Hatikvah Educational Foundation - includes 10 sections:

*The test of Disengagement;
*Examination of precedents;
*Abu Mazen - A New Regime?
*Disengagement - Undermining or promoting peace?
*Disengagement - Tailwind or headwind to terrorism? *Disengagement - Bolstering US-Israel relations?
*Disengagement - Sparing Israel a demographic calamity?
*Disengagement - Economic burden or asset?
*Gaza - Land of Israel or occupied territory?
*What would Israel get in return for Disengagement?

The Houston-based Hatikvah Educational Foundation, a 501c3 organization, would appreciate your (tax deductible) contributions for its Full Page Ads and PowerPoint Presentations, which constitute an Educational, Systematic, Long-Term, Focused, Targeted campaign.

Hatikvah's campaign sheds light on the implications of the proposed Disengagement and the proposed Palestinian State on US and Israeli interests. As suggested by the website, Hatikvah Educational Foundation has examined the security, geography, topography, demography, historical and economic aspects of these two proposals.

Please mail your (tax deductible) contribution to: Hatikvah Educational Foundation, c/o Steve Finkelman, 8020 Blankenship Dr., Houston, TX 77055.

Your constructive criticism would be highly appreciated, as would be your contribution,

Yoram

The presentation is as comprehensive as it is succinct. If I characterized this resource as indispensible, I would be useing a typical Canadian understatement. "Don't leave home without it", and please disseminate info about it!

The world expects a State of Palestine before close of business, 2005. How long term can the Houston based Hatikvah Educational Foundation extend this to?

Weren't we just asked to send money to Edgar Bronfman so he can get the UN General Assembly to criticize anti-Semitism ?

What do power point presentations have to do with Israel being closed down?

Light need not be shed on the expulsion and territorial contraction of Israel. The issues are clear. The historical background is clear. The political environment is clear.

What isn't clear?

Bob, In a way you have a point. When the issue is looked at historically the intent of the PLO or PA and terror groups is very clear, it is to finish off Israel.

The specific headings of the study above is all I could read, because my server would not serve me with the main body of the study, never mind powerpoint! But I think that almost all of the precis points made above are important. We have to engage in a struggle for clarity. My own country, Ireland, and Spain which I know well, the thing that dominates all the time is political ignorance. People have only the most superficial knowledge and that is how lies are told and anti-Semitism is created. I may be wrong but I think you are too hard on these guys.
