Misplaced Faith

Misplaced Faith

I received this email suggesting that I lacked faith or better still that my faith was misplaced. It refers to an article that I wrote wherein I said that the Palestinian train had left the station and that Sharon and Bush believe that it will run over the existing terrorism)

Ted, You are so resigned that nothing can stop the train. You sound like a grasshopper.

ISRAEL'S GREAT FAITH By World tandards, Israel is still a young nation in its infancy having just recently returned to the world stage in 1948. Since this time there has been an abnormal drive by its neighbours and the world community to strangle her.

So how is Israel to deal with an abnormal world? Appease them, surrender to their will ?Even after five major wars this baby refuses to die, so the powers that be have embarked on Israel's demise thru peace. The 'olive branch' attack started with Oslo in 1993 and has been most successful. Today the second and last stage of the plan, the George Bush Road Map for a terrorist led Palestinian state on sovereign Israeli land is accomplishing what five wars could not. Did you get that? What is truly astounding in this long 'peace' process against Israel is that all the evidence of Palestinian intent on Israel's destruction has failed to awaken her leaders. They push pell-mell into a corner with no earthly way of escape. Why are the majority of Israeli's exhibiting such great faith in a lightly lavoured Christian president (a politician at that) who divides their land and rewards it to the enemy which without letup kills the most
vulnerable among them in the way of Amalek?

What incredible faith to continue down this road, even when EVERY fruit of this long journey since Oslo was signed has only produced the slow death and disintegration of Israel. This rotten fruit Israel banks on and invests in reveals how low Israel has sunk. We hear from every Israeli leader since this covenant with mortal men was signed that there is no other way. It's as if the U.S. President is G-d and and his is the only way. Talk about submission and complete obedience, finally, Israel obeys, but to a strange god. Could Israel's faith be completely misplaced? Could Israel be under a strong delusion as it surrenders and retreats, desperately hoping for peace to break forth?

I think they are DEADLY wrong on both counts. It's not the first time, in fact
it's the same attitude Israel has exhibited since
being led out of Egypt by Moshe. They were not even a
day out of slavery in Egypt and were crying to go
back. Shortly after the 12 spies returned from first
laying eyes on Eretz Yisrael, ten out of the twelve
gave their statement of faithlessness,’ we are not
able to get or keep the land’. History repeats. The
majority settle for a goyim plan that spells
Israel's end and they willingly and gladly march
to Haman's gallows because the new Haman is such a
sincere and genuine cowboy with a great smile. Israel
chooses to see themselves as grasshoppers then as
they do today and this is why they bow the knee
so easily to their cowboy and his puppet clown,
Sharon.

Three thousand four hundred years later, Israel has not changed. They have once again
sold their birthright for some very temporary mirage
mush. Rather than place their faith in the Holy One
who has returned them to their land Israel CHOOSES
to trust in lies and false promises that always fail to deliver.

In spite of Israel's critical lack of faith where it counts, there is hope, there is a plan
and it is not the Bush Road Map. What we have is a
heavenly spectacle unfolding that will greatly dwarf
Israel's Exodus from Egypt as it plays out on a
global scale. All the players are in place and the
events unfolding have advanced fast forward to the
point God's direct intervention. In spite of
itself, Israel will be saved, and there will be no
doubt as to Whom is Israel's Keeper & Deliverer.

It will take incredible events to awaken the Jewish people to the futility of their misplaced faith, but they will finally awaken and seek the One their father Abraham trusted in fully. I'm looking forward to that great and soon coming day. In closing I'd
like to quote words from the Jewish prophet Jeremiah spoken around three thousand years ago to Israel.

"CURSED BE THE MAN THAT TRUSTS IN MAN,AND MAKES FLESH HIS ARM,AND WHOSE HEART DEPARTS FROM THE LORD" Jeremiah 17:5

Is it any wonder why Israel has not found the peace it so desperately seeks after ? Joe

Does Joe believe that Massada fell because of a lack of faith?

I also don't support withdrawal but recognize the train is already rolling downhill. Psychological denial refutes Pikuach Nefesh.

Israel's poisoning started before Oslo.

But victory comes with much planning. Proverbs 11:14
