Mom & Dad Made Me an Islamic Terrorist
Dutifully maintaining the sterling standards of journalistic integrity at the Arab News, writer Mohammed Rasooldeen reports on a Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry "symposium" yesterday in the KSA. At this meeting, a bold new theory was advanced to explain why good, young Wahhabi zealots turn to the violent, offensive warfare against outsiders that was made into holy law 14 centuries ago by a deranged sheikh who turned all manner of base depravity into religious piety. So, why do they do it? Why do the youth of the ummah find recourse in killing the infidel? It's because... (sniffle) they come from broken homes!
RIYADH, 24 March 2005 — An unhappy home is the cause of youths going astray and eventually taking to terrorist activities. This was the general consensus of Saudi women delegates at a symposium on the role of the business community in combating terrorism, held yesterday at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
More than 200 male and female sociologists took part in the meeting held to coincide with the International Day of Social Services.
A woman sociologist pointed out that a broken home is bereft of understanding and communication with one another within the family. Such a family environment leads to frustration which eventually leads the youth to be misfits in society who resort to nefarious activities.
And that is the extent of the hard, independently corroborated, peer-reviewed data offered to back up this farcical notion.
Well, now we know where terrorism comes from (in addition to the other excuses of poverty, resentment of American and Israeli foreign policy, George W. Bush, and the Jews). It's not the inexhaustible supply of hatred for the kuffar in the Qur'an, the sunnah, and Friday khutbahs that turn these misfits in society to nefarious activities like mass murder for Allah; it's a frustrating family environment. So, I guess maybe half the kids in the world are now potential terrorists.
If there are any broken homes in the kleptotheocracy of Saudi Arabia, it's because of the men, since women cannot divorce their spouse as per the shari'ah. And for a Muslim man to divorce his wife, all he must do is utter the words, "You are divorced, divorced, divorced!" Allah knows how to hook a guy up.
So, what was this silly meeting really about anyway?
“The symposium was intended to demonstrate the solidarity of the business community with the Kingdom’s anti-terrorism campaign,” Dr. Abdul Aziz A. Al-Magushi, assistant secretary-general for media affairs and chairman of the National Products Center of the RCCI, told Arab News.
Ah... a staged taqiyya display.

For those from broken homes would Mullah intervention help?
As an alternative, can Jewish Social Services help those kids gone astray?
