AFSI's statement on Sharon's Deportation PlotTrackback PingsTrackBack URL for this entry: Comments
What is Herb Zweibon saying? If funds are available from a bloated budget, the Peres request should be honored? Political decisions were made in the US and in Israel. If Monday in Texas saves Gaza and N. Shomron, in less than 20 years, the Israeli Arab population will be larger than the Israeli Jewish population in these areas. When the World Bank programs get activated, there will be more Arabs present. A safe Israel requires addressing the problems. Many US Senators do not associate the Gaza expulsion with "ethnic cleansing". Political issues require political responses. Without a modern government all results are the same except for the time line calibration. Between and among AFSI, Dov Hikind, the 2 NY State Supremes, the Freeman Center, Houston, there is enough talent and offices to prepare a modern government plan for Israel - with sales literature to explain it. I do not think the current responses are working. Monday in Texas could prove me wrong though. Kol tuv, Posted by: BobW on April 7, 2005 12:48 PM Post a comment |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
U.S. TAXPAYER MONEY MUST NOT BE USED FOR ETHNIC CLEANSING OF JEWS
Herbert Zweibon, Chairman of Americans For a Safe Israel/AFSI, asserts, “In a move that contradicts U.S. goals in the fight against Islamic jihad, America is being asked by Shimon Peres, representing the Israeli government, to ignore its own heavily overtaxed budget, strained by the war in Iraq, and to contribute $500 million to pay for Israel’s retreat.”
Zweibon concludes, “America should not be party to a program of ethnic cleansing, and U.S. taxpayer money must not be used to promote such a program, where Jews will be forcibly removed from their homes in Gush Katif/Gaza and the northern Shomron.”
