The Bush administration's "Democratization" of the Middle East is really neo-colonialism with a veneer of Jeffersonian Democracy for US audiences. It is the oil politics being neglected when discussing terrorism. A large Jewish component is involved in the oil trade and supports President Bush and his Middle East policies. True democratization means royalty must be forbidden to rule. For this to happen, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will become a PLO state merging with Yesha and controlling the 1995 proposed corridors (agreed to by Israel). About 70% of Jordan's population call themselves "Palestinian". The Saudi government has de facto support from AIPAC, Jewish War Veterans, ADL and several other influential "Jewish" organizations. As soon as AIPAC is deemed a foreign agent - and adjudication is not even necessary - no American politican will even allow a clerical staffer to open an envelope from them. Other countries and societies adequately handle terrorism. "Our problem" is internal. Kol tuv, Posted by: BobW on April 26, 2005 05:41 AM
Perhaps it's even more telling commentary about the Blogging Media that you have reported that the Mainstream Media has ignored this story although the truth is that it has not. (See the link to NBC Nightly News' Lisa Myers report below.) With presumptive and prejudicial "reporting" such as your post, the American public will be left clueless regarding the true nature of just about anything. - A Mainstream Media Journalist Posted by: Anonymous on April 27, 2005 11:50 AM

True! HOWEVER! The MSNBC report is dated a full day after I posted this comment. Furthermore, my observations were specifically aimed at the cooing and fawning press corps camped out in Crawford Texas whose omissions were as informative as their parroting the Whitehouse/Saudi press releases. By the way........It is interesting that msnbc "forgot" to mention the source of their story (twice)... The Saudi Institute. Posted by: Tamar on April 27, 2005 04:06 PM
I stand corrected (on one point), MSNBC does indeed mention the Saudi Institute in their piece. However, in their excerpt (below the video box) MSNBC gives the impression that it was their in vestigation that turned up the audio-video evidence; "An NBC News investigation found that a powerful Saudi official has encouraged Saudis to go to Iraq to fight American troops. Correspondent Lisa Myers reports." http://msnbc.msn.com/ID/7645118/ We are not your enemy Mr.MSNBC, and if you want a real scoop, contact me at IsraPundit. Saudi Government Minister Advocates Jihad against Americans in Iraq
Truncated mainstream news media reports on the visit of the Saudi delegation to President Bush’s Crawford Ranch have predictably limited their reportage to the oil crisis. Plans to accelerate the expulsion of Jews from their homeland have been noticeably absent from most reports, as have been any reference to the Saudis continued support for attacks against Americans and Israelis.
The Saudi Institute has issued a press release that includes recordings and videos of a high ranking Saudi government official (Saleh al-Luhaidan) urging Iraqis to wage Jihad against Americans in Iraq. It is a very telling commentary about the Mainstream Media that this story has been ignored, and the American public left clueless regarding the true nature of the world’s most influential terror state.
