The Hatred Never Ends

The Hatred Never Ends

More than 100,000 Muslims filled the streets in Indonesia yesterday to vent their irrational animosity toward Israel and Jews.

More than 100,000 people held anti-Israel protests Sunday in the Indonesian capital and several other cities, calling for protection of Jerusalem's most sensitive holy site &mdash the disputed Al Aqsa Mosque compound.

Unfurling big banners saying, "Save Al Aqsa from raid of the Jewish," about 80,000 people &mdash mostly conservative Muslims dressed in traditional white garb &mdash marched peacefully down Jakarta's main streets. Some marchers chanted, "Israel is the terrorist!" ...

"We are ready to be martyrs to save Al Aqsa because it belongs to Muslims all over the world!" some protesters in Jakarta chanted.

Waqf.

And I'm sure Israel would probably like to say, "No problem—you're welcome."

Jerusalem - An El Al 747 lands for the first time in a Muslim country that does not recognize the state of Israel.

Bearded ultra-orthodox Jews scour Buddhist temples, trying to identify disaster victims.

The International Committee of the Red Cross calls on Israel's emergency service to join its relief work for the first time, even though it has denied membership to the organization.

These are some of the incongruous scenes amid the disaster triggered by the tsunami in South Asia.

Israeli expertise, honed by grim experience with terror attacks, is enough in demand that taboos are being broken.

The recent El Al flight carrying 60 tons of aid to Indonesia, the most populous Muslim nation, followed similar flights to Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Israeli search, rescue, welfare and medical teams work throughout the affected area. They have proved their effectiveness in events such as the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Africa and a deadly earthquake in Turkey in 1999.

Help from the Jewish state has not always been welcome.

Mm-hmm.

The poisonous hatred and shameless arrogance of Muslims worldwide in regard to Israel and Jews sometimes depresses even me, and I've been paying close attention to it for some time now. One struggles to grasp such illogical and visceral malice.

The hatred never ends - but it's not "just" the Muslims against Jews.

About 10 years ago it was the Muslims who pillaged Indonesia's overseas Chinese communities. It was the Muslims who murdered the Aussie tourists at Bali. It was the Muslims who murdered those at the Marriott hotel. It was the Muslims who murdered 11 at the Australian Embassy, Jakarta, last year. Look for a pattern.

If only Israel will send more emergency supplies to OPEC Indonesia maybe things will change, such as Amalek recanting.
