Israel's Decision to Retaliate Returns Tension to Middle East
By Cihan News Agency
Published: Friday 20, 2005

The decision by the Israel army to retaliate immediately against any Palestinian attack has weakened the mutual cease-fire.

What??? A Palestinian attack doesn't weaken or violate a cease-fire, but a Jewish defense or response does? Translation: 'A Jew defending himself violates the peace, an Arab attacking is part of the peace.'

Top-level Israeli military officers met as Palestinian armed group HAMAS attacked Jewish settlements, and decided on immediate reprisals for these kinds of attacks.

Translation: Israeli military officials meeting is worrisome, terrorists attempting to kill Jewish civilians, including women and children, isn't.

Anti-Sharon slogans were chanted at the funeral of a Hamas member, who was killed by Israeli troops as Palestinian groups committed two counter attacks on Israeli settlements by using Qassam missiles.

Translation: A terrorist attempting to murder Jews was killed, this is very upsetting. Not necessarily that he was killed, but that he was unsuccessful.

One person was injured in the attack.

Translation: Only 1 injured Jew, this is seriously upsetting!

Of course if the palestinians hadn't been so sanitized and legitimized by "those who should know better," and if so many lies hadn't been told for the good of the arab street, the media wouldn't be so biased.

Shalom! Cynic, the same trash was reported on other "news services", as well as Google. This was my post/response on my groups, per Yahoo!/AP:
Does one have to be certified an idiot, to be a reporter?
My thanks to my dear friend, Crystal, who provided this (only a portion, here). From Yahoo! News, via AP:
Israeli Aircraft Strikes Hamas Militants 32 minutes ago An Israeli aircraft Wednesday fired at a group of Hamas militants who were about to shoot mortar shells at a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip, the army and witnesses said, describing the first such airstrike since a fragile cease-fire was declared in February. The Israeli strike, combined with a recent increase in militant attacks on Gaza settlements, strained the truce and threatened to derail efforts to restart peace moves.
Let's get this straight, now. The "Israeli strike" (which was made on terrorists, not "militants", who were in the process of preparing to fire on Israeli citizens and property) "strained the truce and threatened to derail efforts to restart peace moves". Huh? What truce? What peace moves? In a truce, no one fires at the other side, or at least that's always been my understanding. The lovely palestoids had already fired several mortar rounds into Gaza, but the fight started when Israel hit them back? You seldom hear speech like this, unless small children are explaining how a fight began on the school playground, or major news media are "reporting" on anything that involves Israel. It's a crying, evil, stupid shame! Makes one wonder if the major news services give IQ tests to their prospective editors and reporters, with a rule of hiring only those who score below 50!
B'ahavat Zion,
Robert

Hi Robert,

The post was about a Google news report and given Google's intention of taking over control of The News

"Google Wants News Scraping Patents"

"Interesting. Google reacts to criticism of their obviously biased news division by placing a big bet on mainstream media: Google trying to patent news ranking by quality. (Hat tips: many LGF readers, over the past week.)

Web search leader Google Inc. has applied for U.S. and international patents on technology to rank stories on its news site based on the quality of the news source, according to patent applications obtained by Reuters on Thursday.

Google’s search engine now automatically scours some 4,500 news sources and highlights stories, typically by popularity and timeliness, although Google does not disclose full details of its ranking system.

Google News site gathers article from disparate news outlets such as ABC News, Voice of America, the Christian Science Monitor, the World Peace Herald, Xinhua, Reuters, Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Times.

Industry watchers said that over time Google News has come to depend on more established news providers for its content.

A Google spokesman confirmed that the company has applied for the patents but declined further comment regarding whether the company will use or is already using the technology."

They will filter the news in good MSM style and present you with what you "need" to know.
What most people must know now is that Google News while presenting the same bias, distortion etc as the MSM intend to go much further in controlling their minds.
The bias, at this stage, is pretty obvious to bloggers and given the force that Google has in Internet usage and abusage it will out-Goebbel any of the other media outlets in the future.
