Israeli medics come to the aid of a Jewish settler youth who was injured by a rock thrown by Palestinians from Al Mawassi during clashes between Jewish settlers and Palestinian villagers near the settlement of Shirat Hayamin [sic!], southern Gaza Strip, Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Jewish settlers set up a new outpost earlier in the week in the area where the Israeli army had demolished abandoned houses. On Tuesday, settlers clashed with Palestinians at the site. Earlier in the day one Israeli girl was lightly wounded by a rock thrown by a Palestinian, witnesses said.
Indeed, June 29, 2005, was a bad day:
An Israeli soldier was murdered by Hizbollah terrorists, and five others were injured; the anti-Deportation demonstrators were met with unbridled official violence - 130 people were arrested; Israel Deportation Forces (IDF) deported 20 patriots from Muassi outpost; IDF prepares to deport the patriots from Ma'oz Yam; Gush Katif came under a barrage of Arab mortar shells; and, as the photo above shows, the patriots in the Gaza strip were met with a hail of Arab stones. All that, and much more, in a single day.

FYI, yesterday, an Arab was seriously injured by Israeli stone throwers in Gush Katif. I'm not a witness and I don't know who started what. Just stating the facts as they are known.
This was on TV news last night. Had you been able to watch it, you would have seen an IDF soldier bodily blocking and defending the injured Arab, preventing any more stones from being thrown in his direction.
Afterwards he was lifted up by IDF soldiers and brought over by them to the Arab crowd that had gathered or had taken part in the stone throwing, to be driven off for medical attention.
