See note at article's end.

The orange background symbolizes my personal solidarity with the Jewish pioneers of Yesha.

1. Israel Deportation Forces (IDF) mobilizing to fight its people

The mobilization of IDF reserve soldiers has already begun, in preparation for Israel's withdrawal from Gaza and northern West Bank this summer, a senior IDF officer said Monday.

Addressing the Knesset's Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee, the senior officer noted that all of the army's reserve combat units will be called up for military duty this summer.

And now comes the zenith of chutzpah:

Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz, asked the settlers slated for evacuation to voluntarily move their children elsewhere before the implementation of the pullout in order not to expose them to unnecessary trauma.

A response to this egregiously absurd demand was posted at the IMRA site:

Gaza resident ridicules DM Mofaz's "concern" for psyches of children

Rina Ackerman, a resident of Gush Katif, ridiculed, in an interview broadcast live on Israel Radio's 5 pm news magazine, Defense Minister Mofaz's call for the residents to send their children away before the army uproots them from their homes out of concern for their tender psyches.

"He wasn't concerned about my children's psyches when thousands of mortars showered down on us and he instructed the army not to act - so now he's concerned?" Ackerman asked.

Ackerman noted that studies of the consequences of the Yamit evacuation found that the children who were separated from their parents prior to the evacuation suffered considerable trauma from that separation, thus DM Mofaz's recommendation runs counter to the conclusions one reaches from past experience.

Ackerman also pointed out that the same DM Mofaz who is concerned about the tender psyches of the children has no problem providing the Palestinians with detailed maps now that identify all security provisions in the communities in Gush Katif, thus enabling the Palestinians to carry out more effective attacks against the communities.

In the final analysis, all depends now on the people of Israel themselves. If the population co-operates with the Deportation forces, Israel is doomed. I gets knots in my stomach seeing my dear friend bent on suicide, and I can do nothing about it.

2. Protest

From JPost:

4 policemen hurt in protests over Right detainees

Four policemen were lightly injured Monday evening during a violent demonstration outside Jerusalem police headquarters by far-right activists protesting the continued detention of two ultra-nationalists being held on charges of sedition, police said.

More than 100 protesters who tried to block the entrance to the city police headquarters during the demonstration were forcibly dispersed by police.

Five demonstrators were detained for questioning by police.

3. More harassment from the White/Blue Stasi

From Arutz 7:

Revava Organization Court Battles

On Sunday morning, attorneys representing Revava filed a petition with the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court seeking the return of Revava board games which were confiscated by police.

The police and State Attorney's office have not even decided whether or not the games are truly "incitement" and therefore illegal. Accordingly they have not filed an indictment against the creators of the game.

Revava is demanding that the police and authorities “stop harassing the law-abiding organization and to start acting within the boundaries of the law that they claim to work so hard to uphold.”

In addition, Revava - in conjunction with other Temple Mount organizations - petitioned the High Court of Justice on Sunday to allow a Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day) event at Lion's Gate. At first, the police had issued a permit for the event, then Jerusalem Police Chief Ilan Franco claimed not to know that Revava was involved and immediately canceled the event, under his own personal authority.

Revava attorney Baruch Ben-Yosef argued the police commander’s statements are untrue, adding he has a personal vendetta against the organization and that is his motivating factor.

Chief Franco appeared in court in person to argue against permitting the event, claiming that Revava is a dangerous organization, citing police budgetary restrictions prevent the department from properly preparing for such an event. The senior police commander also spoke of “intelligence information” pointing to a violent Arab response to the planned holiday event.

In a separate, related news story, Arutz 7 reports:

Police Arrest Three Yeshiva Students

Police near Haifa have arrested three yeshiva students for protesting the disengagement, according to Israel Radio.

The arrests come on the same day as the so-called Likud rebels are launching their opposition campaign. Under the slogan "The disengagement will bring terror - we need to rethink things," the Likud campaign will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Do not forget to check out the Katif.net site - it brings personal news and views from the front-line defenders of Israel.

Note: "Resistance News" is a daily column devoted to news about the Jewish resistance to Sharon's expulsion and resettlement plan. Let it not be said that IsraPundit observed the ethnic-cleansing of Jews.

The IDF are not deportation forces, they are being forced into a terrible position by the Sharon-Bush-CFR monstrosity.

Refuse to do your reserve duty or go awol during the retreat and deportation.....and you will do hard prison time, your family will become homeless and their lives will become worthless.
