1. Direct action

From AP (yup, AP!)

Gaza Pullout Opponents Flood Chat Rooms

Opponents of Israel's planned withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank went high-tech with their protest Thursday, trading their favored tactic of blocking roads for flooding chat rooms with anti-pullout messages.

"Jews don't expel Jews" and "Do you really think you'll have security after the disengagement?" were just two of the many messages posted. Many were colored in the opposition movement's trademark orange.

Internet users unswayed by the opponents' arguments weren't left wanting. "Settlers, you're just hurting yourselves. It's time to internalize," read one retort.

"Jews don't expel Jews - they just move them a little bit," read another.

Until now, large demonstrations, posters, flyers, blocking main highways and tying orange ribbons on car antennas have been the prime weapons in the protesters' arsenal as the mid-August pullout approaches. But Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon insists the pullout would take place on schedule, "despite opposition, incitement through lies, blocking of highways and vulgar threats."

2. Neighbourly help

From JPost

Druse soldier asks not to partake in evacuation

The IDF got its first request not to participate in the evacuation of Gaza settlers from a non-Jewish soldier on Thursday, IDF officials said.

Druse soldier Sgt. Timor Abdallah of the Herev batallion wrote a letter, which he sent directly to IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz, in which he cited motives of conscientious objection.

"When my colleagues and I are demanded to participate in operations whose objective is to defend the country and its citizens, we feel obliged to participate," Abdallah's letter was quoted by Army Radio. "But when we are asked to participate in an operation against the people we are meant to defend - our consciences would tremble eternally."

An IDF spokesperson said that the soldier's letter had not yet arrived at the Chief of Staff's office. However, regardless, the army would not accept any refusal of orders, senior officials stressed.

3. Resistance is coming to the attention of the authorities

From JPost:

Golani will not directly evacuate Gaza

The Golani Brigade will not directly participate in the evacuation of settlements in Gaza and northern Samaria this summer, according to a decision made by the IDF late Tuesday evening.

The national religious newspaper Basheva reported that the decision was made out of concern that the brigade's large contingent of religious soldiers and officers may cause it to be a hotbed for refusing orders and lack of motivation.

IDF sources rejected this reasoning. They said, rather, that Golani would be posted in the outer ring to secure the disengagement process from terror threats, Army Radio reported.

4. Denouncing the Deportation Plot - even from the left

In a recent news release, ZOA has collected a long list of quotations from leftist leaders as well as from former high-ranking IDF and GSS officials, all denouncing the Deportation.

For example:

Former Mossad head Ephraim HaLevy:

"After the disengagement, Israel will face a diplomatic crisis the likes of which we have not known for years."

Note: "Resistance News" is a daily column devoted to news about the Jewish resistance to Sharon's expulsion and resettlement plan. Let it not be said that IsraPundit observed the ethnic-cleansing of Jews.

If military sqauds, companies, regiments and divisions refuse to aid in the evacuation, just what can the high command do? Put the whole IDF in prison?
