See note at article's end.

The orange background symbolizes my personal solidarity with the Jewish pioneers of Yesha.

1. Patriots defeat white/blue Securitate

JPost reports:

Police probe leak of Katif hotel raid The police and the IDF were investigating the possibility that the plans to raid the Palm Beach Hotel in Gush Katif were leaked to the settlers barricaded inside the hotel by someone in the security establishment. Police had warrants for the arrest of several of those barricaded inside.

The planned raid was canceled when the leak was discovered, Army Radio reported. Special police and IDF forces were already prepared for the raid when it was canceled.

Right-wing activists have boasted that they have "more than one source" of information in the security establishment, according to Gush Katif spokesman Aryeh Yitzhaki, speaking to Army Radio, the information came from "good Jews who are everywhere, who are opposed to the expulsion and are helping us. We have more than one source." He added, "I have all their plans for the next month and a half."

2. Abu Omri declares open season on Israel's patriots

From Arutz 7:

Sharon Tells Cops to Get Tough With Disengagement Opponents

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is continuing efforts to stifle the growing opposition to his Gaza/Shomron Disengagement Plan.

Army Radio reported earlier today that the prime minister has instructed Israel Police to take a forceful approach to disengagement opponents who seek to close roads or disrupt the day-to-day lives of the nation’s citizens.

3. Opposition at every turn

From Arutz 7:

Soldiers’ Parents Deliver an Anti-Disengagement Message

Parents of soldiers attending a military ceremony in the Latrun Base this morning got into a bit of brawl with sentries who attempted to prevent them from entering while displaying their Gush Katif orange solidarity ribbons.

At one point during the ceremony, parents displayed large signs denouncing the planned expulsion of Jews from their Gaza and Shomron homes.

Two youths were arrested.

Note: "Resistance News" is a daily column devoted to news about the Jewish resistance to Sharon's expulsion and resettlement plan. Let it not be said that IsraPundit observed the ethnic-cleansing of Jews.

1. Ed Katz said:

Without a doubt, Sharon will go down in history as the most despised Jew in this century. He is even worse than the kapos at the concentration camps. This is a special note to the Likud Party. " Your party and the Labor Party are finished in Israel." No Israeli who believes in the Torah that states that this territory belongs to the Israelis,
could ever cast a vote for for Sharon or Peres ever again. The sins of these two are even too much for G-ds forgiveness at Yom Kippor. His cronies are also included in this proclamation.
