A short comment on the murderous terrorist act in London

I am as saddened by the terrorist acts in London as is the next guy. Like many Canadians, I, too, have family members who live around London, so the tragic events have generated personal anxiety, in addition to the general concern for our civilization.

That said, I am hardly surprised that terrorists hit London. To appease the Arabs, the UK, like her EUrabian partners in crime, have molested and harassed Israel ceaselessly. Blair in person pushed the Roadmap madness like no other leader except for Bush. If the Brits believed that in return, the Arab terrorists would offer reprieve, then the Brits have just received another in a series of lessons given Britain by the Arabs since 1920. If Blair and his Gang of Four have their way, they will only succeed in erecting an al Qaeda state on the banks of the Jordan. As a side effect, terrorists the world over will be encouraged. More terrorism in the West may well be expected.

It is also symbolic that while our civilization is threatened very much as it was in 1683 ("The Battle of Vienna"), the Western "leadership" is busy in Scotland dealing with secondary issues such as the Africa and climate change. What we need now is security and defeat of Islamist terrorism; the climate can wait for better days.

Will the West learn? The history of the last 60 years is not encouraging.

to the extent there is any link between these attacks & the UK's foreign policy, i suspect that the UK's involvement in the Iraq war may have been the pretext - i do not think that the UK's anti-israeli policy (object to it though i do) was introduced in order to shield herself from terrorism, and i think this type of attack is a price blair was prepared to pay for entering the war (an action which i supported)

The UK has a long track record of appeasement of Arab Muslim Fundamentalists.
Here are just a few examples:

  • 1. The British High Commisioner of Palestine under the British Mandate appointed
the overt Nazi sympathizer and anti-Semite Haj Amin Husseini, as Arab Mufti and the Arab leader of Palestine, to appease
    the Arabs.

  • 2. The British illegally, against their League of Nations Mandate, excised Trans-Jordan (75% of the British Mandate) from the territory
set aside from the Jews and gave it to the Hashemite Arabs from the Hejaz region (covering present-day cities Mecca and Medina)
    of Arabia.

  • 3. The British to appease the Arab masses incited by the afore-mentioned Haj Amin Husseini, issued the White Paper in 1939
closing Jewish immigration to Palestine. Thus sentencing, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Jews, to their deaths
by their Nazi-Germany murderers in Europe.

  • 4. Over 1/3 of the British foreign arms sales are now going to Saudi Arabia (that great "Wahabi Islam bastion of Democracy")

  • 5. The head of a prominent British Muslim Association (the British-equivalent of CAIR. see www.danielpipes.org ) has
    just received knighthood.

  • 6. Not to mention, Tony Blair's strong push for the RoadMap, which he claims will ease tensions with the Muslim world.

My father who was a Wehrmacht Officer and employed in the Reich Chancellory wrote in his diary the following:

When England decided to give up Czechoslovakia in their quest for appeasement and peace, Hitler was so over joyed that he almost wet his pants.

Great Britain has had a long and treacherous history of appeasement that in the end cost many millions their lives. Had Chamberlain said to Hitler... Go to Hell, WW2 may not have happened and Hitler would have been overthrown.

Giving tobacco products to a person dying of lung cancer will not improve their chances for survival, it will only prolong the agony of death.
